Fitted a Scorpion Stainless Steel exhaust to my 350!
Stutopia replied to DuttyFusion's topic in Exhaust
HFCs FTW with scorpion, sounds great, bit of rasp and a bit of throat, no drone. Short vid below, not full beans as it was cold. -
GoPro 3 HD vs my accident camera

There's only a certain type of guy who can pull off the look in that photo Dan, I wouldn't let it bother you, shows your totally comfortable with yourself. Chicks love that. -
The tactus looks impressive, I googled around and they do a version with a rotating stand, which looks ace. Thanks. Also saw this: http://clamcase.com/ipad-air-keyboard-case.html Makes it go all MacBook Air looking!

I had a '98 Clio 1.2 - totally stock except I fitted a CD player instead of a tape deck The sunroof jammed shut, the interior door handle snapped off, the cambelt went whilst I was making progress in the outside lane of the motorway and lunched the engine, the ABS went nuts, a thief punched a hole in the passenger door with a screwdriver and stole precisely nothing, I pranged a kerb so hard that it bent the rim about 2 inches out, drunks put a foot long crack in the windscreen, and then a week before I was due to flog it for a grand towards going traveling, the gearbox jammed in second and I got £50 off a scrappy for it. I won't be going back to French autos anytime soon Prior to me having it, and that lot, the most remarkable thing happened to it. The front wing was ripped off by a big cat during the night. No really! My folks woke up in the morning and went to take it out and the wing was mangled and hanging off, there was a huge paw print on the bonnet and what can only be described as deep gouges all over. Before you say it was just nobheads who happened to have a paw print maker handy, my folks lived in a ridiculously out of the way place about two miles down a dirt track from the nearest road, which itself was a back of beyond B road. No one ever walked past. It's a crazy world.

Interesting. I tried the Smart Cover on my previous iPad but didn't really get on with it. I'll have another look. It's for work so the cost isn't an issue, within reason.

Looks sweet, well worth the outlay so long as you keep it nice.

I'm after a case for an iPad Air and would love to hear from owners please. It must: Cover front and rear Be thin and light Expose all plug holes Have a couple of viewing angles in landscape mode, not just one fixed one. If you've got a case with integrated BlueTooth keyboard then I'd be especially appreciative of comments. Thanks!

If it's for sharing on youtube I'm sure they compress what you upload anyway. IMHO I wouldn't think it's worth the leap from what you've already got until 4k is an option at similar money. Everything will go 4k, so if you can get that at a decent frame rate, then at least your covered off for a few years. -
Interesting solution, but aren't they sealed for a reason? I understand that in some cars they fit a small tube into a hole, similar to the one you've drilled, and attach it to a sealed container full of silica gel. This soaks up moisture and all you need to do is replace the silica gel in the container every now and again, struck me as a nice bit of lateral thinking.

Zed's bose system has to be better than this!
Stutopia replied to jamess115's topic in I.C.E & Electronics
If the cash isn't an issue, do the lot. I don't regret ripping mine out for a second. I'm very happy with hertz coaxials in the rear and components up front. -
I really liked the auto finesse and I'm not a wax lover.

When I was in consumer finance dealing with specifically sub prime customers (about 6 years ago) they remained on file, just showing as settled, when they were cleared. In my personal experience if a human is making a lending decision, an old and settled default might not be too bad if the rest of your credit and disposable income is strong, but if it's a computer making a judgement and it's a prime lender you're applying to, it may just spit out a straight forward no. Equifax or Experian for searching yourself I'd suggest.

Sorry for off topic but just wanted to say a massive thanks to you Randy_Baton As soon as I saw it, I knew it had to happen. This is the greatest leap forward in my detailing since I found out what a clay bar is. From this shambles: To this majesty: Look at the new level of order! Folded MFs in a dust free space, with low quality everyday grime busters stacked horizontally and quality ones stacked vertically. Applicator pads stored by size and foam density. My wheel brush even fits in!!!!!

Don't fit anything upside down like I did! Take pics first

Any reason? Prefer the higher insurance premium for subsequent years or is it that points are cool?

For a few seconds there I thought you meant the glove box . Its a Stanley Fatmax mobile workstation. If you want to see one in all its glory I'd suggest looking at this thread... http://www.detailing...ad.php?t=207474 I've got a spare door pull for sale if you want to try a few things out and not mess with your own one. There's a glove box? That thread you linked to is awesome, love the workstation and the bespoke bottles!!!! This forum continues to find new and innovative ways to drain my bank account

Two Weird Zed Questions: a strange noise and a strange feeling

MPSS. Did a quick google after Alex's post. Helpfully the internet has posts on their sidewall being both soft and stiff! -
Two Weird Zed Questions: a strange noise and a strange feeling

Tyre walls makes sense, cheers Alex, not thunk of that. Spiggot bush. Is this one of those jobs you do when the clutch is replaced as a "while it's all out, may as well"? -
Nice work so far. I like the black metal bit on passenger door, might have to copy this. What's that cool thing you store all your detailing goodies in? I want one!
