  2. Haha yep, selective attention is the way forward!
  3. Finally I spot a zed! Quick drive in tandem along the fast lane of the M4 this morning Anybody on here?
  4. Think I am going to the the above a go first; good man Steve
  5. That is ok wackosr, I had a feeling it may have been after referring to the same webpage Stevo put up, but there are so many good replicas aesthetically which include accurate packaging, sometimes it can be hard to tell. Still tempted, looks nice GTLWS
  6. Unfortunately both of mine are shot, they only drop down when you open the door. If you ever get really stuck then try giving the door card a slight thump whilst pressing the switch, or close the door and hold the switch lol. I often have to do this to get the window back up after its auto drop (pain in the arse). Pretty sure zmanalex can sort you out with spanking new new motors.
  7. Quite like the green.....but here you go

    Any ideas?

Ok will have a think, need to try and find a close up of how it meets the boot. Will let you know if I decide to go for it. It looks like there is a slight upstand, it may even wrap around and under the standard rear lip/spoiler.

    Any ideas?

Hi, I am pretty sure most members on this forum are aware of the SoCalSidewayZ 350, both for positive and negative reasons. If not take a look at some of their youtube videos (pretty impressive IMO). I am trying to figure out what is going on with the boot lid, there appears to be a vinyl/wrap/sticker on the very edge, or a bra but for the rear of the car Any ideas on what it is? Trying to decide whether I like it or not; could be a potential option/cheap fix for the two holes left behind after a de-badge.
  10. Phwoar....wouldn't mind a ride on that...shes a beauty!
  11. Are they an exact replacement for the standard nuts, ie are the the same length as I am too looking for something slightly longer, red and eye catching. Have had a look on ebay, but I'm not sure I can trust the sellers, replica wheel nuts are not cool!
  12. .....and slightly stretched tyres
  13. I think they are lovely wheels, refurb with different colour and your onto a winner
  14. Looking sweet, presume its carbon wrapped, is it a neat finish as I have been extremely tempted by this setup? It also looks like there is a slight down stand in the grill around the perimeter of the number plate housing? Not sure if this would suit my zed as I run a small number plate and a JDM one if I get pulled (ie there would be a visible gap between the grill and bumper)
  15. I think your inbox is full? Just tried to PM you. Thanks
  16. I swear I barely get 30mpg on the M4
  17. I'd probably drop in the lump from the new Nissan Pixo, a whole 996cc that manages whopping 64.3 MPG - could keep the Nissan burgers on the car too

    Drop links

Hi Guys, I am pretty certain I need a pair of ARB drop links at the rear of the zed, will be confirming that soon by disconnecting them and then testing to see if the creaking noise still occurs I had priced up a pair of upgraded ones for the front and rear but then realised that I needed adjustable ones as the car has been dropped. PowerGrid ones have been highly recommended, but I am finding them slightly pricey in comparison to other manufacturers. I am not doubting that they are the better option, but have been considering the Japseed ones due to budget (please don't shoot me). Has anybody had any experiences with them? Thanks
  19. I thought there was an art to wrapping, I have a few interior pieces I would like to get done. Have you had much experience in doing it before? How did you find it? I may give it a bash myself.
  20. Thanks. That is the major downfall to slightly stretched low profile tyres, the lip and face of the rim are constantly flirting with kerbs....
  21. Talking of intelligence, if you look at the chaps youtube user name and click, you will be linked to all of his other videos, which mainly consist of dangerous driving and revving the nuts off of his DC5....what makes my laugh is that his number plate is visible in most of them....what a complete tool!
