  1. This is disgusting! I really do not understand how somebody can believe this is the right thing to do! It is so cowardly. Shocking! Not sure I'd run the London marathon if I had signed up.
  2. OK here you are. One Red... and one Pink....erm i mean Black
  3. BBK, though that somebody would have helped you out by now, they haven't so I suppose it is my duty to do so. I presume you want two images, one with red wheels, one with black? Or did you want one red and one black wheel? If so which one?
  4. Yes I removed mine as I think it looks horrible, decided to fit a slightly smaller plate that sits better on the front bumper. I do have an import, but would have removed it if I owned a UK spec. Number plate totally transform the appearance of a car (for the worse), I think I may try and pop it in the window when I have a bit body work done, looks mean and clean. Hopefully I wont be pulled until after Japfest!
  5. Easy! Just dont drop the nuts into the door, and before u remove the drivers door handle completely look at how the door lock mechanism fits in for when u put it back together Cheers mate, did a quick search and couldnt find a guide, so just had a quick look around and found one anyway, thanks again Guide if anybody else needs it: http://www.350z-uk.c...rs-door-handle/ Good man Reeco
  6. I do apologise mate, had the intention to do it, turned my back for a couple of minutes and some pikey half inched your wheels and sprayed the car instead!

    New Gear Knob

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-nismo-carbon-fibre-gear-knob-/151021707666?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D6978680111151687373%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D151021707666%26
  8. I have the Nismo carbon shifter, it is lovely, but extremely small! I bought it second hand at a very good price and in excellent condition, it also came with the rubber finisher you mention above....although with it fitted I cannot thread the knob down far enough and it spins when you grip it. It seems like the rubber finisher is too large, or I have a short shifter? Has anybody else experienced something similar? The interim remedy I have fitted instead is a rubber grommet/washer thing left lying around the workshop, which allows me to screw it on further. I may also use lock tight if the problem persists but would rather fit the proper parts. I will take a photograph at the next opportunity
  9. Found myself in a bit of a pickle mate! All of the tools in the back of the zed were useless, couldn't get the jack underneath the car on my own (this is always the case, usually have to drive it up on to chunks of timber or pull the car up using each arch), the standard 21mm wrench didn't fit the nuts (19mm) and the spare wheel didn't fit the stud PCD as it has had a hub/spacer conversion from Nissan to BMW (I knew this would catch me out at some point ). So I had to dump it and ask the old man to rescue me and go to his garage to get suitable tools! Removed the spacers and some how squeezed the huge space saver under the arch, it was around a bloody meter in diameter! Width wise it looked lost under the arch, appeared as if the front of the car was floating! So yeh, eventful morning and now need to purchase a new tyre and wheel refurb, along with many other parts before the deadline that is Japfest!
  10. Classic!! I am worried about having mine remapped and dyno'd, probably wasting my money on bolt-ons. The BHP will foreseeably be well below par and my ambitions on a 10 year old motor
  11. Spotted around lunchtime today, heading out of Pennsylvania and toward Cold Ashton, nice and clean, white wheels . I was actually in a Navara, returning to the filling station to rescue my abandoned Zed
  12. Sweet ride and good effort on the maintenance. I love the side skirts, what are they called? So you went through two pairs of Japspeed decats? Did you get a refund?

    Road Tax

Thanks Marzman, I have a feeling we are being over/undercharged....something isn't right I am slightly confused as to whether or not the DVLA refer my Zed as a UK or JDM car. It was imported in Feb 2004, I have lots of documentation, including the certificate of cancellation registration (very interesting). The car was advertised as a 350z when I bought it, not a Fairlady Z, additionally the V5 refers to it as a 350, not a Fairlady. Both the road tax reminder and V5 state that the CO2 figure is 294 G/KM and it appears that I am paying the road tax cost of a UK Zed? After a quick search on the DVLA webpage, they suggest that I should be paying £280, this is the exact same cost as a UK zed currently advertised on auto trader (whereas my reminder states £270 and Pete's JDM is £250) Doubt I will contact them as it is probably more likely than a new reminder will be issued at £280 not £250, slightly unprofessional in my eyes. Hmmmm....?

    £250 or £270?

Really, strange that it is inconsistent. I may give them a call, depending on what the UK zed charge is.

    Road Tax

Hi Guys, I am pretty sure that I have read a topic somewhere on this forum (can't find it now) regarding road tax, and I am pretty certain that a member mentioned that the road tax for a JDM vehicle is cheaper? Anyway, I have just received my first renewal reminder and thought I'd see what others are paying. I have a 2003 import and have been asked for a payment of; £148.50 for 6 months or £270 for 12 months. Is this cheaper than the UK Zed or is it a myth? Thanks
  18. I don't think these will hang about for long! GLWTS
  19. Dave I featured on your 'spotted topic,' nobody responds to mine and you are the only one who acknowledges me on the roads
  20. I live in Bath too. I presume you have a private plate that includes your name/initials or is it ridiculously small?
