  3. The just have "Sally B" on now, I flew in that when we did a programme at LWT in he late 70s called "We'll Meet Again" great experience.

Yep my Zed was the same, was usually clean but certainly not detailed, I spent far too much time enjoying it and driving it to have any left for hours of cleaning... leave that for all the garage queens Does make me chuckle when people who rarely use their car offer so much 'advice' I think ilogical 1 is some detailing guru as he tests all these different waxes and raindrops. and posts photos of them on here. Black Betty is always clean, but not polished every week. :scare:
  7. Good Luck Dan, lot better than your original quote, will be back on the road soon how has it panned out with the insurance payout, I sold a set of GT wheels for £51 recently.
  8. I had ilogical 1 on here slating my cleaning of "Black Betty" last weekend, I did explain that she gets used every day in and around town, its my daily, and I don't have time to spend polishing out every little swirl in the paint work.

  15. If your going to remove your spare, I would put some pre-puncture sealant in the tyres and carry a few cans of Tyre Sealant as well.

  17. He still owns it, (its with an agency for sale) but he's got it on an old fire engine now, used to be on his 750 Triumph Bonneville
  18. I have very considerate neighbour one side and the other side couldn't be worse...!!! He has an old Chrysler Diesel People carrier which he starts at 7.30am and leaves it running while he loads it up, filling my house first thing in the morning with diesel fumes...!!! :rant:
