Been with the RAC for years and thought they covered you not the vehicle so always seemed like a better way to go. We both have cover on a joint policy in case we arnt together and it also covers the motorbikes that way to. They all come out about the same if you want recovery to your home which is the best thing to have otherwise you could be left with the car being dropped off at a local garage miles from home and your at their mercy.... not the way i would want it to be. I just need to know the car will be coming back home so i can sort it.

I expect a garage to road test it. But not abuse it for obvious reasons. People who I don't trust don't get my car. Simple. Commander are things working out and getting resolved? I know lots of guys don`t like to see the garage mechanic road testing their car but back in my day you did the work and then road tested it to make sure it was ok and nothing like this ever happened.

They have made the motorbike test harder as the years have gone by ( blame the EU for that... dont start...lol ) but they are cautious about being too hard with the driving test as they may upset too many of the voting public. Its just the way it is

I dont disagree with that mate but its just a sign of the times today with everybody being more relaxed about things like that. I just meant chillax back and think about the enjoyment if you want the bike. If the let down issue is more important to you then cancel the deal.

Not too sure how correct this is as lots of people only tell you half a story to suit their means but a fella on the radio said that whilst Norway accepts freedom of movement to have a trade deal it does not have to give those people anything else. eg equal pay/benefits that Norway people get. I guess this would mean that people would only go there if they had a job to go to and leave if they lost it as they would not get anything else. His point was the Norway system is not as bad as people make out. As i said though its hard to get real facts from either side. As an example The Labour party would like us to believe that all workers rights are protected by the EU but no one has asked them what the junior Doctors are moaning about then. Surely they could just sign the max 48hr agreement that the EU provides and stick two fingers up to J Hunt. I guess the junior Doctors dont want to do this as they need to do the extra hours to train to become a consultant. So a classic case of neither side telling us the real truth. They all have their own agenda and the EU/Brexit sham is a classic example. As far as i`m concerned Dave offered the referendum so he should have sat back, let the vote take place and then sorted it out but he was so convinced his advisers had got it right and the vote would be remain that he campaigned for that side that its cost him a career. What a donut I still feel the main reason for most people who chose to vote leave was because they wanted to stick two fingers up to Brussels for all its meddling and to make our government responsible for what happens in this country. A point was made on the TV by a politician from the remain camp that too many things that happen are blamed on Brussels as its the convenient thing to do and people have now reacted to that when given the chance. We need to sort out trade deals with other parts of the world first and when thats done then deal with Europe. As i said in the beginning Dave should sort it out because he started it.

I don`t think that its fair to consider UKIP voters as racist anymore than Tory voters are just rich posh boys and all Labour voters wear flat caps and have a whippet. Dont even start me on Liberal wearing sandals and eating lentils.... You have to accept that Nigel Farage was`nt even an official member of the leave campaign so dont go blaming him for the leave side lies. Dianne Abbott tried to blame him for everything rather than have a go at her own party and Labour voters who also voted out. Sometimes you have to get used to life not always giving you what you want and i fear that it is a bitter pill for all the young voters who wanted to stay in to swallow. Trust me this is only one of many disappointments you will suffer in life and then you will realise why we get more cynical as we get older. Crack a beer, sit back and be thankful you had a choice to make.

Why didn't the government call out these obvious facts prior to the vote? Because they are all in it up two their necks mate. None of them can tell a straight truth because they dont know the meaning of the word

I cant believe this thread is still going strong but as it is just a couple of points to consider 1/ If Europe/ the EU is so great then why do people want to come to Britain, why cant they go to another country in the EU and have such a great time. 2/ Do you think that the main party`s would be concerned that if a second referendum was held and the result overturned then there could be a massive swing towards support for UKIP Just interested in views on either point.
