  1. Lowered mine slightly and now cant get trolly jack under.....wife thought it funny that I have to drive onto small planks first. Did mention I could use her hands instead of planks which she somehow didnt think was funny. Strange sense of humour women.
  2. Lol....you obviously dont have kids n their hangers on. Scooters, bikes, 3 wheel contraptions not to mention all other junk the insist of dragging by the car no mater which part of the drive I park in. I'm sure if I used next doors drive, they'd still migrate towards the car. Kids r like scratch magpies.
  3. Be calm first of all. Maybe salesman just forgot to give you it. Have you still got orignsl advert stating it has full history?
  4. If its a DE , also need to move the intake pipe to gain access to bolt for passenger side. First time took me a few hours but managed it in less than an hour a few weeks back. All depends on how free nuts n bolts are.

    Next car

Back at work now so Z is dry stored for the next 3 months. Should be easier sold in the summer. Also have 3 months to trawl classifieds and decide. The newer meganes do get a very good write up.
  6. Yep...try dent master. I've also picked up a "tesco" dink on drivers door from either a trolly or nuggets parking too close and then trying to squeeze their rug rats between car n door. Never had it on other cars so assume panels are thin on the z. Should have a sign on car roof . ..."park trollys here"
  7. Yep...depends whats around your area. Unfortunately for me there is two other Z roadster in my very small town....so common as muck really...
  8. I could be wrong (probably) but was the 350z not designed from offset to be a roadster, hence the coupe is probably beefed up to suit - hence the extra weight???
  9. I'd agree that cruise is great, especially in ANPR speed check areas that seem all too common now. Brembos are UK standard as stated. Interesting comment on the seats - I quite like the heated seats, but would argue that the electric seats are pointless. The only time I ever move the seats is to vacuum the carpets behind them, and it's slower moving electric seats than it would be manual seats! I'd guess most of the weight gain of the GT model is in the electric motors for the seats, although as previously mentioned it's hardly relevant in such a heavy car. Actually, I agree that really the electric side is pointless also, as is the heated aspect in my opinion. Fair enough they bothered to fit it though. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk Heated seats are a must IMO....but that could be my age !! I've never been a fan. Feels like I'm pissing myself lol Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk HA, Defo my age then.

  11. Thats a lot of cash for a set of 18s.....plenty of choice. FWIW tyre - I have standard tyres on 18x8.75 and 18x9.75 with no issues (but wouldn't go on wider on rim size).
  12. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350z-Rear-Spoiler-/111320197392?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item19eb336910 Maybe of interest to someone.
  13. "also covering in vaseline" - the battery terminals, not yourself.
  14. YEP. Also strangely when i jumped mine, I had feedback issues with steering (juddering feedback). New battery fitted, all back to normal. To be fair this is my second battery since buying car - first one I bought cheap which lasted only 13 months.
  15. Sounds like you need a battery - just changed mine a few weeks back, same problem.
  16. Oh well...into storage. Willbe ebayed in a few months time when i get back from working.
  17. Quite like that, very nice and stealth looking.
  18. Aye it does a bit. Will leave them on for a bit - see if the grow on me.
  19. Pair of eyelids....from a fellow forum member. Not sure if I like them or not, time will tell. Oh and washed it as well. "]http://[/url]
  20. Dont pay it. I take it the carpark was currys / pets at home one? Got the same from them before. Ignore it. Dont reply. Dont even acknowlegde them If you read it the letter says notice of payment - not a fine. They will keep sending you letters upping the amount and it'll get to something like 180 quid. Still ignore it and they threaten county court stuff. Again ignore it and then they offer to reduce the 180 quid to 150 quid if you pay it now. Yet again, ignore them. They will then go away. Fortunately in Scotland the only people who can give you parking "fines" are plod and the council. Hope this helps. :teeth:
  21. Tighten the other nuts up. Then get a 1mm smaller socket and tap it on to damaged nut. SHould come off then. Nut will not be reusable and might damage the socket (so borrow someone elses), but at least you'll get it off.
