  1. To deliver to uk mainland with paisley frieght is 29.99.
  2. I might be wrong but doesnt the rear bolt screw out. Mine wouldn't budge so screwed it all the way out and was fine.
  3. Ah....cheers. fixed it. Had wine head on.
  4. Relatively easy to check offset if you have a decent depth gauge and a steel rule accross inner face of alloy. Measure the depth from inner lip to face where wheel / hub locate. Measure the width of wheel (lip to lip) in mm. Half it then. Offset is the first figure minus have the rim width (mm). I think!!! :teeth:
  5. Can a forum moderator move this to 350z section for sale. Posted in wrong bit. Sorry :teeth:
  6. As per title, a set of touring alloys that have just been refurbed. Was going to keep them but have enough junk laying around. Colour wise - they are dark gunmetal colour with a light metallic (like R34 colour). Centre caps are also painted same, with highlighted centres still in chrome. Looking for 200 quid as feels thats fair since the cost I have spent on refurb. Note - these haven't been fitted with tyres since refurb so haven't been on a car yet. Sale os for a set of alloys only. No tyres are fitted. Location West Lothian. PM me and I'll reply ASAP. Can send them (via Paisley freight) but would prefer collection as dont want them damaged in transit. And yes, that is another set of alloys with tyres below in same colour (from my kids Suzuki Swift - also for sale) http:// "]http:// "]http:// http:// http://
  7. Looks wrong offset. FWIW - my wheels are 9.75 width and offset 20. Yours are 10.5 with offset 18...which mean yours should extend 12mm outword than mine. Looks a lot more than that to me. http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator#Results
  8. Check under the dash - may just be the return spring squeaking.
  9. As it was the track edition in the US that was fitted with 18 front and 19 rear, possibly nissan know something that we don't. Else could be it just looks better. No doubt it'll be something to do with the initial turn in feel, different side wall size.
  10. This one is easier to work. http://www.kouki.co.uk/utilities/visual-tyre-size-calculator If your running 225/45/18 on the front, then running 275/35/19 on the back will keep the rolling circ almost the same as stock (stock rear 245/45/18). Hope this helps.
  11. Its the ratio that needs to be the same - ie 225/45/18 and the equivalent 19 to 245/45/18 on rear (275/35/19?????).
  12. Did the US version not come with staggered rim diameters - 18 on front and 19 on back. Cant see it being a problem providing tyres sizes all match up to similiar rolling circumference.
  13. As long as no one was hurt......cars can be fixed, or a new one bought. To me it looks like a write off esp with airbags and such needing replacing.
  14. As Ekona states - I meant if you didn't declair them!
  15. Mmm, strange one. Your car must pass an MOT and then be roadworthy. Decats aren't dangerous - hence car is still roadworthy but not emmision complient. BUT then you have insurers stating that a decat car MAY be faster, although very unlikely (although is a mod). Bikes have been subject to police stops due exhausts but very few would question whether a bike may have a gutted cat unit.
  16. And since its sunny (just) , 12 degrees - time to see if the hood still works. Well it was that or wash it.!!!! "]http://[/url]
  17. Update - its gone, back to normal. VERY strange. Wonder if PS pump is on its way out?? Flast battery effecting PS switch (if any)??
  18. Went out this morning and noticed when turning left at around 30mph upwards, that a heavy judder could be felt through steering. Immediately stopped but nothing evident. Drove around next right corner all fine, but at next left same again - judder through steering wheel. Have checked following: Tyres wheels are all okay, Wheel bearings feel fine. Brakes fine. Greased up all ball joints and none seem sticking. Power steering level at correct level. Then: Jacked front wheels off ground. With engine off, rack moves freely back and forth. With engine running, does the same, move freely. Then noticed that if I apply a small amount of opposite force to steering movement, judder returns. I'm thinking power steering pump? Any help appreciated. Battery was flat prior to moving car this morning (although cant see that causing a problem).
  19. Car isn't fitted with a performance clutch is it? These tend to rattle (jingle).
  20. emm, nope. where is noise coming from. Might be something stupid like a heat shield.
  21. RS4s are quick(ish) - had one, but not much out there would keep up with a decently riden bike .......just mind the roads are still slippy as f**K, Was out the other day on the bike and rear was spinning with mild (ehmmm) opening of throttle.
