Did try a few years back to buy sensible, hence the Golf GTI which was remapped in under 5 days from new. Did stick with it for nearly 11 months but, while a great car, was a bit dull. In all fairness to Myfairlady, did consider a S3 along with a R32 prior to buying the 350z and I've heard the S3 is relatively easy to get some more ponies from.

yep....i looked at it too in Glasgow when my cars were in for a service. Salesman did ask if i was intertested. Nearly chocked when I saw the price. Will be rare as hens teeth.

C63 and XFR are still a tad out of price range. I do like the V8 M3 but after trying one (on crap scottish roads), thought my RS4 was a more rounded car. I'm too young (just) for a Jag, although do like the newer shaped XKs, although the bogo 4.2 is a bit slow. Only Masser I would have is the Granturismo and the hold their prices better than most second hand cars. Apart from that fact the dearest car to insure from above is a Masser - by a hefty margin.

In a clio - prob not. I did like the ISF and the misses thought it was nice (esp in white)....but have had one so don't want to go back.

While the 350z is around 21mpg. Dont use my cars much so not to worried about MPG really.

Didn't realise that M6s are so cheap.....a lot of car for the money. And i suppose a lot to go wrong LOL.

This is exactly what my mate has got and believe me it is quicker than an RS4 (B7, I know I had one). It's quite unassuming, if that's what you want. But, I would probably agree with the comment about getting an Audi it needs to be an RS í ½í¸„ Have had an rs4 (b7) and also a s4 (b6)....so agree that I'd always want the rs version if an audi, even though tje newer s4 is a better car than my old rs.

So currently want to get back into a v8 (my old RS4 is for sale 3 years later for more than I sold it for..LOL) But a few other cars that arent V8s are teasing. Anyone had a shot in the following... Megane RS250. Audi S4 (newer one with 3 lts engine). Insigna VXR. Clio Cup 200. I know a bit of a varied choice, but hey ho.

Really Don't do this !!! What burn it or use a mildly soaked in petrol rag to clean it? Best thing to remove tar from your car before giving it a clean....so think will take emulsion off. Obviously clean the car after to get rid of petrol residue.
