  1. Hey Mark, What location in Scotland and when where you thinking? Help people narrow down options.

    Rim Pics!

There is a full section on alloys (wheels), I'm sure that will steer you (no pun intended) in the correct direction. Are you looking at 18s or 19s, colour, design, spoke count - would all help you narrow choices down. In meantime, as few here from another recent post: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/85696-aftermarket-sideskirts/page__hl__tarmac#entry1283546
  3. Have to agree, Tarmac ones for me too. "]http://[/url]
  4. If its a worry - by a roadster? Seriously though I'm 6ft 4 too, and no issues at all, and seat isn't all the way back. Depends on if your a "normal" 6.4 - ie in proportion. If you have long legs n short body, maybe a prob.
  5. Welcome. You seem to like Nissans so a 350z seems a logical step. What spec you after?
  6. yep...good bit of kit for moddest outlay. if routed correctlt fits in the ashtray space so out of sight.
  7. No worries Dean, they are sitting in garage ready to go. Jusy give me a shout when your ready.
  8. rear spoiler....too soften up the fat ass look. Should have been standard on roadsters.
  9. Yep...agree on that. Very good service. Also did my wifes Pathfinder service.
  10. Plasti-cote looks good from a distance but I couldn't get the finish good when I used it - without it looking dimpled I mean. I'm toying with the thought of doing wing mirrors in black, but might end up spraying them instead. Agree the darker wheels suit the lighter car (my previous two cars were light coloured with dark wheels) - and it just so happens I have a darker set for sale..LOL and not far from you Dean.
  11. Buy his, sell yours. It's the cheapest option What he said. Even bashed up Tourers go for at least £100 on ebay. Possibly £200 if in decent nick. At £200 these are a steal! Buy these, swap the tyres, sell yours, job done. I have 18" Rays but preferred these wheels when looking at Zeds, they just look bigger than the Rays imo. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk Makes sense! Sorry only just seem this! I've got Rays and wanted to stick with the, so they're currently being refurbed in a similar colour now Good man Josh, mind and post some piccies once painted.
  12. Advert states its a 2006/56 but plate shows 05? Is it a import or just a nonGT with upgraded seats? Sort these two issues out and it'll give you a better idea on pricing. FWIW - Try and find a very low miled car for less than 8K, assuming mileage is correct, so price wise I think its spot on (providing it is a uk car). Factor in better wheels, exhaust n sat nav and by the time you fit these to a cheaper car - your not far off 8K plus. Whats the keypad on the right hand side behind steering wheel?
  13. Just checked - petrol down and back to TDI would be well over a 100 quid from where I am (central Scotland)....so 550 to get it done up North is not too far off the ball Mark. Now, just have to resist......I said I'd spend no more BUT...... How many cars do you need to make it feesible? Also I take it the more cars done will reflect in costing?
  14. A few Scots were up for this 5-6 months ago (myself included) but I'm selling up shortly so 550 is too much for me. I thought revup was around the 375 mark, which obviously you make a profit on. A hike of 175 per car for coming north (in addition to profit already built in) might seem a bit much for us (tight) Scots - but suppose saves on wear n tear plus petrol. And I only have a rough idea on what a rolling road costs to hire per day, so no idea on your outlay. I'm sure others will be along soon to comment further.
  15. Thankfully your name is Wendy.......and not Russell......so you get away with painting your nails Azure.
  16. zz5 were not rated very well. the zz3s however were a very good (budget) tyre....but think dicontinued now, although some might have old stock? Have used them an various cars with no issues. Were actually better than standard fit Bridgestones I had on a new Golf GTI. Everyone raves about MPSS but it all depends on what you use your car for, or more specifically how you drive it. Try camskills and see whats in the same budget.....you might only be a few quid more for Falkens.
  17. I'm jealous of the front and rear z badges!!! but if roadsters are getting near this....mine will be gone before having to worry about new badges. To be fair - it looks a decent Z but I too would query the change of centre consul.
  18. Yep - as Pete states. White is nice but not many around. If the cash can stretch - i personally like the darker blue of late models 350z.....although rare as well.
  19. Welcome mate. You might need to be a bit more specific on what you want for 8K. Low miled well looked after DE or a mega high miler minger of an HR could all fit your criteria for 8K, and as such model year for that cash could stretch over 3-4 years.
  20. Really simple: Two or three layers of bubble wrap on top of the alloy front face. Then one thick square piece of cardboard on top and bottom of the alloy faces wrapped on tight with brown tape. You could even wrap bin bags around them for extra protection (from rain) but I don't think that's necessary. Fyi ~ Do not use Paisley Freight!! They are terrible. Me & Almeida experienced problems using them including not collecting wheels when they said they would. Strange - used PF numerous times for many things including wheels (6-7 sets) and never had an issue. Nice wheels by the way - surprised they are not gone. Good price.
  21. The R33 GTR seats are just as supportive....although maybe don't look as good.
  22. Search "ipod hack" - should give you what your looking for. And welcome.
  23. Good man! Looks tidy. You never know - you might end up with bits from mine afterall..LOL (Wheels , stubby and other bits.......) First dibs please! No worries mate. Hopefully the car will go as is...but if not I will give you a shout.
