  1. Thanks I'm driving down to Portadown and then back into Belfast for a few days. Let's hope that if the weather stays ok for me to get out there, it stays ok enough for me to get home again on Friday night!
  2. Does that look like changing as I'm flying into City Airport from Leeds / Bradford tomorrow evening...?
  3. Kelly Le Brock in Weird Science, she was my crush growing up. Not to mention Michele Pfeiffer..
  4. You'd not be the first person to do that!
  5. Girls Aloud. I met Kimberley in London once and she was happy to stand and chat for a few minutes. Lovely girl, (in my top 5!) but turned this 36 year old into a jibbering wreck in front of his mrs.
  6. Was chatting to Joey Wong about your car tonight mate, said he knows / knew you. Sounds like a beast of a car.
  7. I'd expect that, but even 10-15k under asking price, while it would sting, I would probably take given my circumstances
  8. Guys, http://www.webuyanyhouse.co.uk Has anybody used the above to sell a house, or know anyone who has? Essentially, I have an empty house which is on the market that I need to shift quickly due to divorce. I'm aware I won't get market value through these guys, but as long as they don't offer stupid money I'm willing to take the hit just to get it sold and out of the way. I could probably afford to keep it on the market for 3/4 months or so, but after that I need to look at other options. TIA Matt
  9. I guess you need to just keep an eye on them and see what develops.. I'll get my coat
  10. Running isn't a great idea if you've done pretty much nothing over the past decade (Similar to my last 5 years!) as you'll get out on the street, last 5 minutes at most and get demotivated. Diet is very important, as are the fags, but don't think you need to have a full fitness regime to get any results. As crap as it sounds, exercise bike at home for starters worked for me as I could get some regular cardio work in without being stranded a mile up the road as I would do for a run. Once I'd done that for a month or so, I'd lost weight and felt better when going out running. Edit - Agreed on the Gym Buddy too, really helps with motivation
  11. I had an LPG Vectra Estate, factory fitted (Well, technically after market as Vauxhall didn't fit them themselves but outsourced it) but anyway. While the cost was obviously very good (LPG was 35p a per at the time) I had all sorts of problems with it. From trying to find someone local to service it, to engine problems, LPG cutting over to petrol at random times, blocked valves, all sorts. In the end I just gave up and traded it in for the Saab 93 chug chug. I'm sure the technology has improved since then, but I'd be really reluctant to convert anything after my experiences. You've also got to do a lot of miles to make the cost of conversion pay off.
  12. 360 here. Been playing Farcry 3 recently, that's more my style of game
  13. Aha! So you're the guy who works in Stow Court.. My office is at No. 2.
  14. I've got tickets for the Friday only as I've got some else on for the that weekend. If anyone fancies meeting up, just holler
  15. That always made me laugh when selling car private what else would they be offering , sheep ? Depends if the deal is being done in Wales...
  16. Ill be southbound on the A1 for a few hours in the afternoon, ill keep an eye out!
  17. No, the Mrs was with me and she has a mean stare on her!
  18. Right, time to join in. I got a camera for Christmas from the other half as I expressed an interest in taking up a new hobby. Coolpix L310, which seems more than enough for my requirements at the moment. Below are a few I took from around Halifax this afternoon. They look nothing like some others photo's here, but would appreciate any feedback from people in the know. Please bear in mind this is the first time I'm done anything like this! I like the way this is naturally framed by the trees and the houses, with the "yoof" adding to the content Picture just for SMD.. I upped the contrast, sharpness and colour a little on this one. A neat contrast between old and new in this one. Again, adjusted the contrast, sharpness and brightness a little. View from my window Street sign shot
  19. Took a walk with the Mrs today and saw this parked up down one of the side streets in Halifax. Silver 350z with body kit and "Petrol" wheels, looked really nice. I'd got my camera with me and was going to take a few shots, but thought it a bit rude without asking first! Anyone from here as you are 5 minutes walk from me?
  20. Out of interest, how much would you charge for fitting if I came down to the Midlands? (I spend my life on the road, so am bound to be there at some point anyway!)
