I got some money back on the PPI issues, but my girlfriend works at a bank so we could go through all the hoops without employing these money grabbing snakes who've popped up with all the claim companies recently.

Agreed. I got my first at 19 by just walking into a tattoo place and picking something off the wall. Big mistake. While I never regretted getting a tattoo, I regret getting it the way I did. All the others I made sure I spent time researching and each one means something to me. My half sleeve, btw, was partly to cover up that first one I got, and no, it's not Batman and Robin cough cough..... Ignore the Moob...

I saw this the other day. They are moaning about the tattoo artist, but as you say, who in their right mind would invite an unlicensed artist into their home who will only charge £50! My half sleeve was £70 per hour and took 2 sittings of 3.5 hours. I'm happier with mine than she is I bet!

Around 11am this morning, didn't get a number plate but we were stuck in traffic going opposite directions and exchanged nods / thumbs up as we passed.

I do something similar, I have a bluetooth adapter connected to the AUX port of my DAB radio. Suits my needs perfectly, but then I am in a flat so the need to have speakers around a wide space isn't much of an issue for me.

I get around 4Mb from my Sky in Halifax, tempted to see what they can do with Fibre

I get horrendously low speeds here, and I work from home so it gets a tad annoying... Damn Sky...

I've come to my Zed from a 93 too! With the booster seat he's the same height, roughly, as an adult would be and the passenger seat is pushed back slightly. (As long as the seat belt fits correctly over the shoulder, he's fine) I was always impressed with how strong the Zed feels over other cars of a similar style, but also have no issues if he was there in an accident and the airbag went off. Certainly no different to him being in the front of the 93 I'm in a similar situation in that I only have the kids at weekends, but if I have one of them on their own, we always go out in the Zed Edit: I think the reason people talk about kids being 12 is to do with height / size and making sure the seat belts are safe and not around their necks, which is where the booster seat comes in.

You only need to turn of airbags for rear facing child seats. I have my 7 year old boy in my Zed, with a booster seat and have no concerns over his safety.

My threshold is upped by the fact I'm in a 4th floor flat and have to lug buckets up and down the stairs..

Quick question for you guys. Having bought the Zed a month or so ago, I have no idea what type of oil was put in her by the dealership and am needing a top up. Would it be ok to buy some 5W30 to put in, or would you guys suggest a full oil change so I know exactly what's in there? (She's due a service in 4000 miles anyway) Cheers. M

Isn't part of the appeal being you (I) got a hell of a lot of car for my £7000. It's hard to force an economic trait within such small parameters as a forum when it's so easy to go elsewhere for a bargain.
