  1. You could also PM ZmanAlex
  2. I have had good results on my Zed headlights using Megs PlastPx followed by Megs Headlight Protectant. Having got the lenses haze free, I just do a monthly coat with the Protectant.
  3. You may wish to consider turning off your interior lights, as these are a common source of parasitic drain. Had a similar problem on my Honda Accord, turned the interior lights off and had no problems since. You may also want to turn the radio off, too, Hope this helps.
  4. I can recommend Lockwood and Greenwood in Ashton under Lyne, Greater Manchester. They look after my, and quite a few other NW members, Zeds. They also offer a discount for Zed forum members. I know it's in Manchester not Blackburn/Preston but it may help to know about them if you can't find a suitable garage nearer to you.
  5. Glad to hear, you've got the Zed of your dreams. Hope you will join the rest of us NW Zed owners on our runs out this year.
  6. Hi Ian and welcome! That's a great looking Zed. Hope you will join the rest of us NW zed owners on our 2017 runs out.
  7. Hi and Welcome. You may wish to keep an eye on the North West section in the Regional Meetings section, as we often meet up with some of the Staffordshire members for run outs to North Wales. You would be very welcome to join us! Ridz

    RDX Stubby?

May I just add a word of caution. I purchased a RDX stubby from ebay and the audio performance was poor, with the radio cutting out in all but the strongest signal areas. I bought a quality replacement stubby from Redline Styling, a trader on here. I understand that they are top quality Honda units, so cost a bit more, but they look good and sound even better in the Zed. Good service, too, from Steve at Redline. Hope this helps.
  9. Spotted a black 350Z coupe leaving the A34 by pass, heading into Wilmslow yesterday. Very nice Zed which appeared well looked after, with a good high gloss polish finish! Looked good.
  10. Just another comment in support of checking the rear wheel arches for signs of rusting as rectification work can be expensive.
  11. Hi and welcome! Hope you will join us at our next meet/run out.
  12. Nice silver 350z coupe passed me on A34 Wilmslow by pass around 09.30 hrs this morning. Thanks for acknowledging me with a couple of flashes of the hazards! I had just set off from home and was warming the Zed up, so driving like a granny, when you blew past me!! Hope you are a member of this forum,as it was good to see someone else out enjoying driving their Zed!
  13. Another +1 for L & G. Just had my Zed MOT done by them. Good guys and they offer a discount for forum members.
  14. Hi and welcome! Hope you can join us North West guys on our next run out.
  15. Nice, black 350z coupe heading towards Wilmslow town centre on Manchester Road on Saturday morning. Good exhaust sound too!
  16. Spotted a nice azure blue 350z coupe on A534 Congleton Road, Arclid, this morning. I was behind you in my Honda Accord.
  17. I have just changed my Zeds gearbox oil and used the Molyslip Concentrate additive, having used the ordinary Molyslip product previously. I have found the gearbox to be slightly smoother in operation. Hope this helps.
  18. Yes, you just get in the seat and before you put the key in the ignition, you are already smiling!
  19. I've been working pretty hard recently, so not a lot of time to get out in my Zed. I needed to to take the time off, or lose it! So, today looks not too bad here in the NW, so took the the day off. Went out in the Zed. Get in, everything feels right! Fire up the V6, everything sounds right! Slow drive, to warm things up, then off to seldom traveled roads! Then a few sharp curves, always impressed at the Zeds steering response, sharp and precise! Foot down, hear that V6 growl! Amazed at how sure footed the Zed is! Home, cup of tea tea, then clean the Zed and await another day to go out and enjoy my roadster..
  20. Can recommend the the Gtechniq G5
  21. I had a similar problem when I got my Zed. It had newish Avons on the rear and the OEM tyres on the fronts, and the TCS come in sometimes on tighter bends. Changed out the front tyres when they reached 2 mm a couple of months later to Avons to match the rears. No problems since.
  22. I changed my Zed key fob battery a couple of months ago, without any problems. If you change the battery over quickly enough, I found I didn't need to reprogramme. However, mine is a UK Zed, but I would have thought all key fobs were the same. Hope this helps.
  23. You may wish to try Lockwood and Greenwood for future work. They are based in Ashton under Lyne, Greater Manchester, are ex Nissan garage and have good referrals from members of the forum. They give a discount to club members too! Just had my Zed in there for an annual service, coolant, gearbox and diff oils changes. PM me if you want more details.
  24. Nice silver 350Z at Lockwood and Greenwoods garage at Ashton under Lyne today. Had just dropped my 350Z Roadster off there for it's annual service.
