  1. Yes HR, I will be doing it myself in future though. Crazy service cost.
  2. Cheers Guys, the mechanic is going to speak to the spark plug supplier and get them to amend the price, as I have spoken to nissan dealer and they quoted aroud £15 mark inc VAT.
  3. What about those plugs though. £25 a pop inc. VAT? Guess ill pay and sell a lung or a liver or summat. At least its done now. Doing it myself next time though
  4. Wasn't even at a main dealer, a garage near me. Itemised below Oil Filter - £5.03 Air Filters -£18.70 each (£37.40) Spark Plugs - £122.90 Engine Oil - £40 Fuel Treatment - £25 Service Labour - £125 Extras Gearbox Oil - £47.17 Diff Oil - £17 Labour £50 Brake Fluid and Labour £40 + VAT Grand Total = £611.40 I have questioned the Plugs as from Nissan they are £15 each. What is the comparrison prices?
  5. Just had a P3 service bill come through, £600 +. I did have dif and gearox oil changed and spark plugs. Does this sound right? Nearly having a heart attack?

    New Back box

    I need to get a new standard back box for my '08 Coupe. The weld between the backet and the curved "J shaped" section has corroded through. Is there any boxes I should steer clear of? Ive seen some for £150. And is it worth the upgrade to Stainless?

  10. The drive home was great. Ive never been so happy to listen to Little Mix, and Radio 1's Drum and Bass show. Epic. Loads to fiddle with on the interior still. Sat Nav and CD player are the only 2 things Ive played with so far. Its a shame the bluetooth wont connect to my S6 Edge though.

  13. Cheers for the welcome peeps. So, I viewed a Zed today as mentioned. '58 Black, GT Pack, haven't seen the alloys before (5 spoke) but liked the look of them over the Rays. (Probably started a war on here with that comment). 62200 miles on the clock. I text checked it to see if it was legitimate, and all was clear. Few smaller issues, most of them have been covered in previous posts on what to look out for. 1. Boot will not open at all. I have heard that some of them don't unlatch properly so a second press is needed. But this was more switch or wiring as it the mechanism was not working. There was also signs of this being an on going issue. There is a panel between the cabin and the boot, presumably to keep your shopping from flying around the cockpit, but this had been removed and was lying down in the back. I think that this was an attempt to open it from the inside at some point. 2. Inner part of the rear tyres worn, needed replacing. 3. There was a small panel between the bumper and the exhaust that was hanging off. Looked as though it was missing a bolt or had corroded through. I think this is to keep water splashing up into the driveshaft of exhaust. 4. Pads were worn, and discs had a very slight lip. Nothing to serious though. 5. Small amount of surface rust on the passenger rear arch and a very small spot of bubbling. 6. And lastly, the drivers door was slightly sticking out (no signs of damage and no damp though). and the boot lid on the passenger side looked as though it was raised slightly. Is this common. The service history was missing, but on its way as the dealer said they always arrive separately in case they are stolen. All in all, it was a great car and probably worth the £10000 asking price. But I think there might be a deal to be had here if that number comes down a G or 2 Let me know what you think. PS Also had the Orange/Tan/Mustard leather. Thoughts?
  14. Going to have a look at 2008 350 with 62000 on odometer on Fri/Sat. Secured the car with a small deposit to get first refusal. Other than the usual things as listed above and on the For sale thread, is there anything else I should be looking out for on this particular model.
