  1. Cheers guys!! I knew I'd got it right when MrNiki banned me from ever selling her! (I have a history of selling cars on when I get bored, and I get bored quickly haha!) I really think the wheels make the look work well (I wheely do )
  2. So after doing a few mods to my roadster, i decided i should really start a build thread to not only show off what she has had done already, but to show what will come in the future too!! I bought my girl home on the 15th April 2014, and she got an important job almost immediately at mine and MrNiki's wedding on the 18th April: So there she was, a few days into ownership completely standard!! It didn't last long.... First job was new wellies in the form of MPSS's all round and 25mm Eibach spacers fitted too: After a bit of research and a few questions asked on here, i decided to get rid of the stock exhaust and buy the Ark Grip cat back system for her, and was a great choice! I was drawn to this one by the looks alone, and having never heard one, it was a brave decision spending this amount of coin, but by god was it the best choice! I spent a bit of time then deliberating on whether to go any further or not with modifications. After attending the likes of JAE and a few other small meets i realised i did not want to stop where i was... funny that!! Anyway, i got in touch with Tarmac with a shopping list consisting of a front splitter, side diffusers, rear spats and a rear diffuser. When they arrived the next decision was what to do about painting them all. I really wanted to keep the side diffusers black, but wasn't sure on how to colour code the rest, With input from MrNiki and Paint Perfect in Lincoln, i took the decision to keep everything black, and also go for a change of colour on the Rays to try and bring it all together and make it a bit easier on the eye. There was a snag hit with the rear diffuser, it didn't fit with the Ark Grip exhaust, so instead the back bumper got partially painted black to keep the lines looking right. This is how she looks with the kit fitted and the gunmetal wheels: I have bought some GTR style bonnet vents to fit, which will be after the new year now, but having kept the kit black so far, i reckon they'll look ace when fitted! We are also off to Severn Valley Motorsport next week for an EcuTek tune. Results of that will be posted once its done. And this is where i have stopped (for now....) Hope you all like what i've done so far If not, well thats just tough because i love it!
  3. Devastated over this news, never had the pleasure of meeting Martin but I did have many online conversations with him, such a gentleman .... Deepest condolences to all xx
  4. Reading this thread, and owning a 370Z and a 987 Cayman S I feel I should chip in! The Cayman is just great to drive, it does blow the Nissan out of the water with handling and driving pleasure on decent length drives... A hop to the shops don't cut it though! Porsche haven't got their reputation by producing rubbish. For 'road presence', the Nissan gets far more glances than the Porsche, and the poser in me loves that more! Also its cheaper to mod and make my own But at the end of the day its what is right for you. You buy for yourself, not what other people think That goes for all cars! You shouldn't discount any car based on the factory/country it rolls out of... (And I never made MrNiki pay for the Porsche so I wasn't affiliated with buying a German car ) That Boxster is though
  5. A 1995 Peugeot 106 for £500 (bought in 2004) and I loved that little car!!
  6. Every time I've tried to give up caffeine, the headaches have destroyed me to the point I've stopped trying! Plus I'm a right cranky b**ch in the mornings until I get my coffee!
  7. Cannot stand Fury!! Hope he gets KO'd in the first round. Not gonna happen, but a girl can dream haha! I really hope its a Klitchko win!
  8. Must admit I was surprised at the 35 bit haha! Some of his posts on here elude to 'grumpy old man' status But what a great, well written article! No waffle, easy to read and will reach out to all audiences! If all future blogs/articles are as good as this then you are on to a winner
  9. I have forced sobriety while I'm away at work, so that's 6 months of the year taken care of... however I have been known to make up for it in my time off!! During my last field break though, I only had a drink 3 nights out of 21, and I felt AMAZING for it!! Coupled that with working out and eating healthy and it did wonders for me. I just wish I could get addicted to feeling good in that way rather than drinking and feeling like crap!! Well done on 4 months though, and long may it last!
  10. This is the sort of stuff MrNiki likes watching, will let him know about it!
