  1. Yep that's becoming apparent haha! Trying to work out the right dates is the tough bit, once that's sorted then the rest should fall into place quite nicely
  2. June, edited that!! Looking at one thing and typing another haha!
  3. OK, so I've got to ring the Derbyshire hotel on Monday to discuss a block reservation for either June 3rd/4th/5th or August 19th/20th/21st. Once I have this organised, and a date decided it'll be all systems go! I will be starting a new thread for this once my plans are set in stone, and I will make sure you are all aware of it! Watch this space
  4. Just been checking out my work rota, the only other weekend I could do is 3rd/4th/5th June... Might be a better shout than August and doesn't clash with anything as far as I'm aware (if anybody can correct me please jump in and let me know!) Cheers for the info and offer of parking if we need it, it'll be a great help! I'll probably be dropping you a PM soon to pick your brains on a few things!!
  5. Cheers for that suggestion Shire350Z, I've just emailed them to find out about reservations/availability! There's a premier inn over the road from there too looking at Google Maps! Could be the location I'm looking for Now to see how close the nearest Shell petrol station is to that... Thanks for all of the interest/help from everybody, hope to have this open for people to sign up to in the next few days or so!
  6. And Lincolnshire gets this.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-11177821 Good old publicity vehicles!
  7. The Ark Grip is amazing!! I bought one without hearing it, and best decision I made! It looks great, and the sound is superb, no cabin drone but meaty when you expect it to be!!
  8. Can I lie and say 87yrs old for the Whiskey?? No.... Ok I'm 31
  9. Seems to be that the Peak District is fairly accessible to most people! I'm looking at accommodation in Chesterfield at the moment, just off the M1. I'd hope to follow the same pattern as Wales, a 3-4hr drive both Sat and Sun, allowing for time for people to head off and do their own thing on the Saturday/Sunday afternoon if they wish, or just hang around admiring/cleaning cars and catching up with others! MrNiki is excited already for trialling some routes I've asked about 'other cars' being included, and my opinion is that it should be available to all forum members, however a majority of zed's is the ideal! What I don't want is a heap of mondeo's/Vectra's etc turning up haha! I'll see what information the mods/admin can give me on this, and take it from there
  10. **UPDATE #1** It appears that May is a busy month with Japfest (potentially) and Modified Nationals, and August Bank Holiday is notoriously manic in the Peak District. I'm leaning towards August 20th/21st for this event. I've been in touch with some hotels already to find out rates/availability too, so if interest for August 20th/21st keeps growing then i'll put the wheels in motion Keep adding to this thread if you are interested, and add any useful information! Feel free to ask any questions and I'll answer what I can
  11. The May date is the weekend before the modified nationals I think... Fingers crossed Japfest doesn't clash!
  12. I'd have to check with the admin on guidance for this, leave it with me! Think something similar was asked on Wendy's Scotland thread...
  13. *This post is just to gauge interest and gather idea's* I'm looking to host a 350z-uk weekend in the Peak District for 2016. Initially, I'd like to propose a few weekends as potential dates, with the Saturday and Sunday having organised drive-outs. 1) 21st/22nd May (INSTEAD OF WALES FOR 2016) 2) 20th/21st August 3) 27th/28th August (Bank Holiday) This will be a very similar concept to the Wales weekend, just in a different location. Hotel would probably be either Sheffield or Derby due to close proximity to the M1. (Nobody has picked up Wales 2016, hence why I am proposing this as an alternative!) I know I won't be able to please everybody with the dates, but if anybody can see any potential clashes with anything else, please let me know. If you could comment with the following, I would be greatly appreciative: Potential clashes Date(s) which would suit if you are interested Hotels around the Peak District (Sheffield/Chesterfield/Derby) that would be an ideal base if you know of any! If not, I can scout some out myself! Any other information/ideas that are worth considering. Looking forward to getting some feedback from you guys!
  14. Well that makes things easier already Matt haha!! I've got more time on my hands now as MrNiki has just been posted closer to home, no more living out of suitcases!! I'll try and get involved as much as I can
  15. No problems, just thought I'd ask! There are a local few meets that seem undersubscribed, so even if this thread just highlights the available calendar to OPs who haven't used it before, it will be worthwhile As for the major meets (Japfest/JAE/modified nationals etc), the dates are well known in advance, might be worth getting these added for either forum organised stands or even just information purposes? I'd be happy to get together a list or these to populate the calendar and maybe organise a couple of things (love planning stuff, I'm a sad case like that )
  16. Just a thought: I know there’s not much up for 2016 by way of events yet, but is there any way that every meet, when proposed by an organiser, can be added to the calendar by proxy when a thread is created, and also a link to the thread available in the calendar itself? This would be handy for me, as due to my work rota I can look at a calendar and see what I’m home for easily, rather than sifting through all of the different regions etc. I have noticed previously that the calendar isn’t always used for advertising meets, and I think some of the event organisers are missing a trick here! *Prepares to get shot down in flames for being too lazy to check each subforum on every visit*
  17. Well after deliberating for a few days, went ahead and bought this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Meguiars-Gold-Class-Wash-Wax/dp/B001G7XM0G/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1447806570&sr=8-13&keywords=meguiars I'd be happy if I got this!! Cheers for all of the suggestions, there's more out there for £20 than I thought
  18. I'm sure I've seen that design somewhere before..... Oh yes, that's it!! Haha!
  19. I will not go anywhere near my car the day after I drink. Mainly because if I did my hangover would drive to McDonalds, and I can't do the drive-thru without scuffing my alloys in a sober state... On a serious note though, as with anything in life, loads of people 'get away with it', but the law is the law and regardless of the situation, there's no leg to stand on if you are caught
  20. Those seat covers  Liking these suggestions so far LED's are looking good!
  21. Yo! Due to nature of working offshore, and everybody working different rota's, we have had to pick our secret santa's today, and now I need some help!! I have picked the only other person out here who has a 370z (GT Edition) which is currently unmodified. He isn't on this forum, despite me breaking out my best nagging voice previously, but this is a bonus right now.... Anyway, its a £20 limit, what would any of you lot suggest that's zed related and might encourage him to develop zeditus? I want him to suffer as much as we all do... Ta muchly! Niki
  22. Snap with the exhaust, don't they sound fab?!! Any annoying dents in the bumper on this one? Although following you when you got overtaken by the caravan did detract from it for a while!! Good to have you back
