Simply Jap - Beaulieu ?
-
Fitted new rear brake shoes and cylinders so took the opportunity to paint the drums at the same time. Windscreen wiper motor was a little tatty so painted it and added some Jap touches. Off to a show Sunday so wash and clean tomorrow and all good to go.

Need to get closer to the date so no panic. I have to request a stand early in the year so makes sense to post it up then as we do for all shows.
-
Guys . We need more attendees for this show. I may need to merge with some other cars if we don’t.
-
Doesn’t look right to me but can we have some other angles. Maybe stand in front of the bonnet and take a photo there with the bonnet in view and one across the windscreen but stand urther back.

Would be a boring world if we all shared the same tastes but I was aware of the wing in my first post like Paul and I personally think they are awful. Just my opinion though but that isnt worth much.

Tein S Springs will lower it an inch and a quarter, add spacers and bingo. That’s what I did to my mark 2 Nismo . Ark dual grip exhaust will give you a perfect burble with no drone and are a work of art. Couple of photos of mine after I added some purple chameleon flip wrap and some work emotion rims to fuel your thoughts.

Yes. Will be travelling down from Hayward’s Heath. Always a good show at Beaulieu. Brands is still my fav as we get to park trackside with time attack going on all day. Normally a thousand jap cars or more.

Welcome. Hope to see you at a show soon. Look up our thread for Go Japan at Brands Hatch in Sept. will be good to meet you and the car. Martin

Simply Japanese Sunday 24th July 2022

I sent him a WhatsApp earlier Andy. I’m on his case.👀 -
Do the other breathing mods and you will see greater benefit . Best to do them all together but glad you are happy for now.
-
Oops. Best to go with Motordyne / Kintek or known one. You only really get the benefit if you do the other normal upgrades with it. If you are happy that’s the main thing. Hope it had at least a good gasket so keep an eye for leaks. Did you follow the torque procedure when refitting ? It’s important you do.

What plenum spacer do you have ?. Unusual not to be supplied with spacers because it won’t fit without them. You need your strut brace on.

Get my plates or someone to sell it for you. Lots of companies online that will.

Commonly known on this forum for many years as a BGW- Big Gay Wing. Simply awful.

Long time ago now but thanks. Just trying to give you some options to think about.

Dave. There are a few things I need to explain to everyone about Ace. Regardless of what it may appear Ace are very organised and on the ball. Mark Wilsmore who manages the events request we supply names and registrations every year without exception. He also gives me a two week prior to the event deadline to submit them and is very clear about cars not just turning up on the day. His rules, not mine. I am more than happy for someone to step into my shoes and run this event. I act as REO to help make the forum an enjoyable place for guys and girls to go to events with their cars. Until you walk in Andy James and my shoes for a season nobody will appreciate what a commitment it is. I know we do it out of choice but it really isn’t much to ask people to let us know if they can’t make an event. I also don’t want people to think you can put your name down and then providing you notify us it’s fine to not show. I’m my mind you should at least have a valid reason to pull out.The other key point here is events plan their stand allocation and site plan based upon the number of club members attending. Therefore for example if we have 30 attending a show the event will allocate a spot for 30 cars. When only 20 show it’s a very awkward situation as a REO to explain. A situation where you just roll up on the day is not workable .There’s more to this than members appreciate.

Long time ago now. Hard work, sore fingers but helped the miserable winter pass at the time . Hydro dipping is a better option now and what I would recommend.
