I suppose a good way to look at it is like this; By not having the premium connect system it doesn't mean you have a rubbish stereo and sat nav, far from it, if the premium connect is a 10/10 the older one is a 8/10. If you have a OEM 370Z and then jump in an UpReved 370Z with an aftermarket exhaust system and intakes, then the difference in experience would be larger than the difference in stereos systems say. For my money anyway. If the OP would rather an OEM car with better features on an already jam packed stereo then the 2010 car is the obvious choice. The fact he's even considering the 2009 car makes me think otherwise.

I didn't as I didn't think it was really worth it but OK, I will. I see that as a non entity really, if you don't use the touch screen you use the buttons that are directly below it. I don't see that as a plus or a negative really, it doesn't save space or make it less cluttered in there its just a different input method. Yes, I'm pretty sure it does. I'm fairly sure that's the only way you can update both systems. Fair comment with the camera, if that's something the OP is worried about then, yes, perhaps it's worth considering in the long run.

After level 20 XP from kills don't count towards leveling up. There is a new stat you build up called 'Light'. You collect light by collecting Legendary or better gear that has light attached to it.

I have a 59 plate 370 with the non updated Connect Premium. I find the biggest let down is the Audio in jack quality and there is no work around for this, the quality is so dire I just don't bother with it, the other issues are minimal enough to get buy with out I feel. The lack of Post Code is annoying but it still works just as well once you get past this in the very fist instance. The Hard Drive is a cool feature but will just be more awkward than using the USB feature, which you'd use instead of the audio in jack that I mentioned above, so it's kind of a redundant feature in my opinion. The possible reverse camera, yeah, I suppose but you still have to buy the camera so if you had the older version you just buy a different version of it. So when you break it down to actual NEW/Better features, they're are there but how effective are they really ?? For me the only big positive is the audio USB feature, I would smash that all day. Now obviously if I had the choice A or B, I'd go for the new version but if like you say, the choice is between the Connect Premium or the UpRev and Mods on the '09 car, I'd have the '09 car all day personally.

Modern social media, I think, has dramatically reduced the popularity and use, of car clubs/forums. The very nature, grouping and find all in one place ethic has done this to many clubs. Less first time users will feel obliged to join up if they can find a quick fix to an issue on FB or some other search. I do honestly think that the type of car has something to do with it. The 350Z (I use this mark as it’s the obvious user base here – I have a 370Z) appears to have the right mix of members, from age, background, OEM, modded, post count and interest in the mark. Meaning that to get the fuller picture you need to be part of the forum as opposed to any other service. I don’t really post much on here as I purposely try to stay off forums nowadays but I always tend to find something on here that interests or angers, so it’s very good.

The actual game, or the serious part of it only really starts after level 20. The main part of the game is about repetition and PvP (Crucible). Varying, additional story missions will be added to the game later on but as I mentioned, the main part of the game is now doing the same story missions over and over with different objectives and rules to unlock better gear and materials.

I played Project Cars at EuroGamer guys. I drive the Dubai Autodrome circuit in a Le Man's P1 car. It looked incredible, with changing light levels from, noon, to sunset, to night, all within 3 laps, , that was obviously on purpose though to show off. It felt great to be totally honest but was hard to give a true reflection of how the car felt as all the aids were on and you were unable to switch anything off. I wanted it all off with clutch enabled but wasn't able too on the demo I played .

I went to Eurogamer at Earl's Court over the weekend and made a b line for Alien Isolation. Very good. I played it for 10 minutes, as that's all you got and got caught once, I jumped like mad. The sounds and controls make it very scary and the feeling you get running from the Alien is nothing I've experienced from a game before. it's very very good and well worth a long look when it comes out in a few weeks.

All I really prefer to play is Crucible, I've hit my weekly level cap though for Marks, so having a break the last few days. XP cap resets today though. I used my marks and New Monachy rep lad week to buy full Legendary armor with an exotic lid. Next up, legendary weapons !!!

I wanted a specific 370Z. Then found one. Then bought it. Without the forum it wouldn't have happened as I planned.

Drop rates are still the same dude, they've just changed the code so that the Legendary Engrams always give Legendary items now. The annoyance was that you could play for 30+ hours and get 2 Legendary Drops, then take them to the Cryparch and they would turn out to be Uncommon items. Although I like the RNG it's a positive change I feel.
