OK folks, list has been updated.

@kaptainmarc you have taken @glrnet's spot in 9th place. Can you please drop him a PM to arrange payment for his ticket and exchange email addresses so the ticket can be forwarded once it's sent.

@LBow350Z I've added you to space 14 on the list as that space is no longer required. Can you please buy your ticket(s) via the JPShow website?

@cob1980 did you sort your ticket out with @valy?

@AmyZed @jamesmac I've dropped you a PM, please respond and confirm your attendance either by reply or on this thread otherwise your space may be allocated to another member.

@buster  (and everyone else) Tickets are normally emailed out (to the registered PayPal email address used to pay for them) a week before the show.

Im looking at getting these Maxton sideskirts.

One question, how do they attach? Do they fit onto the stock under skirt bolts? Do they come pre drilled?

    That was three questions

They're provided with a 'fitting kit' which consists of a load of self tapping 10mm hex-head screws. They're not pre drilled, so just drill the skirt at various points to act as pilot holes. If you've got any double sided 3M tape, this helps hold the skirt in position while you're screwing it to the underside of the existing skirt.

David, I've seen your build thread, you're really not going to have any struggles or issues fitting these

Apologies as this may have already been explained but do we just head for the usual public entrance and pick up signage to the club stands from there???

Depending on which direction you approach the paddock entrance I imagine we’ll be in the area used for public parking which has a gated entrance either just before or after the paddock entrance.

Its a grass covered area, on a hill. Which may be challenging given the rain....

  5. Now, I know you're all law abiding, responsible adults, :teeth: but having attended a few events at Shelsley I thought I'd just give a heads up while I thought about it.

On the way out/heading away from Shelsley Walsh after an event like this, it's not uncommon to see mobile speed cameras in the 'lower' speed (30, 40, 50mph) restricted areas.

(No, that wasn't a motorcyclist pointing a hair dryer at you) :drive1:oops:

Don't get caught out folks. You should always stick to the speed limit anyway, but just be aware.

My bad! I only scanned through the original post and assumed it was like the other event threads (add your name, then add 'PAID' once the ticket was purchased).

I'll make sure i read the post properly next time!

My apologies for all the confusion

No worries Tom, you're not the first and will most likely not be the last to do the same. As you say, it's a slightly different format to other club stands and events where it's rare there's an actual limit.

The first time I organised the stand at JPShow we purchased a 10 car stand, then extended it to 15, eventually extending it to 20 cars due to demand, with a waiting list for any 'drop-outs', so I'm sure you understand why we need to do this one on a first come, first served basis, securing your place with a ticket purchase.

Anyhoo, I'm sorry you can't make this one buddy, hopefully you manage to get another MOT soon and avoid any more jobsworth 5-0.

Love the Yellow , ok I will order , best to go direct I guess and yes like the idea of the gloss black , how did you attach mate sicoflex type adhesive ??? cheers

Yeah I just went direct, however they do sell them through their eBay store and often participate in ebays discount deals, so you might get 10-20% off.

Just use the fittings provided. It’s 3M tape on the spoiler, self tapping bolts on the skirts, nuts and bolts on the lip. Use LOTS of the bolts on the lip and not just self tappers. Otherwise you’ll find you’ll soon need to buy another lip. Apparently.....

  8. There seems to be a little confusion over the attendance list, can everyone that has added their name please confirm they have bought/paid for their ticket by adding 'PAID' after their username? (I've added a few already that I know have bought their tickets, thanks guys)

Unlike other shows, the club has to pay for each stand space (of 10 cars) and we've purchased two spaces (hence the 20 car total). As with many events, especially where there is a limited number of spaces available, a waiting list soon develops as spaces are on a first come, first served basis.

    Taken from the first post...

CLUB STAND TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE DIRECT FROM THE WEBSITE: https://www.japaneseperformanceshow.co.uk/product-page/club-stand-ticket

Club stand tickets are £13.50 in advance only from the website (Address above). PLEASE READ THE TEXT ON THE CLUB STAND TICKET PAGE - THIS TICKET MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE AND WILL BE EMAILED PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

Passengers can get their tickets at the gate or in advance if they wish.

As stated, we currently have a stand suitable for 20 cars, please add your name to the list below if you are coming, would like to be on our club stand and have purchased a club stand ticket.

Let me know if anyone else drops out, would be nice to meet some more Z owners.

@kaptainmarc I do know of a spare ticket for our stand, assuming the above is all sorted, I can give you details.

  10. As @Andy_Muxlow mentioned, I have their rear spoiler extension, side sills and front lip. I don't like the look of their rear bumper section(s) otherwise I'd have that too!

No issues with the quality at all and fitment is great. Being gloss black it's just plug n' play.

  11. Thanks guys. I’m really happy with the pics and Dan (the photographer) says he can do much more, but we were a bit restricted with location. So I’m looking forward to planning the next shoot with him.

The cost really isnt as high as I thought when I nervously asked. He approached me as I pulled up in my Z at a local meet, he introduced himself, gave me a card and showed me some of his work on his phone. After seeing the images on his site, I simply had to contact him and get something sorted. All that was said about price when he gave me his details was “less than a tank of fuel”. I hoped he meant his tank and he drove a Smart Car. But he didn’t.

He’s based in Worcester but chatting to him during the shoot he told me he travels the UK a lot with his job (so may be local to you at some point if you’re a fair distance from Worcestershire/West Mids).

Just drop him a message, he’s on Facebook (DanCat Photographty) or via his site:

    www.dancatphotography.co.uk

Tell him I sent you!

  12. Recently had a shoot with a photographer that specialises in low light/long exposure shots and painting with light when it’s dark. Was a really interesting experience. We had a bit of a ‘mare with locations and didn’t exactly end up where we’d originally hoped or planned but I’m still really pleased with the results. We’re gonna have another go at a later date.

Apart from the first two images taken as we were losing light, all the others were taken in total darkness. Was fascinating to see how the results were achieved. (Even if I couldn't see anything else)
