Looking significantly different and unique yet retaining a classy OEM vibe.

Almost as if it were a Nismo creation

Thank you!! :) That’s exactly what I’m going for and trying to achieve. It's one of the reasons I’ve kept the OEM wheels.

I’ve had a number of ideas (such as vinyl graphics, spoiler etc) but dismissed them as they move too far away from the ‘tweaked OEM’ look. Many thanks for your comment mate, much appreciated

If I’m totally honest your bumble bee is a bit much for my taste but I really admire your enthusiasm for the platform.  This is what makes Z ownership such a community thing. All power to you and the yellow beast :).

I think this one is a little more 'conservative' than my previous 350Z! Thank you for your comments though, much appreciated

Everyone has different taste (some have more taste than others....) but as you say, that's what makes Z ownership and the community so special. No two cars are the same, unlike many other marques and models

  3. Visited a fantastic event at the Lloyds Amphitheatre on Sunday. Wide variety of cars in attendance, but as the numbers started to thin out I grabbed the owner of the Noble and asked if he’d join me for a photo with the Testarossa. While we were there, Aidy the 240Z owner joined the party which resulted in a few awesome pics and generated a lot of interest.

Here are a few of ny favourites from the day.

    Hi Ian,

Could you add me to the list for future orders as well? Have been wanting one of these since I've joined the forum!

Please drop me a message when you start production of a batch.

    Thanks

    Sam

Edit: I'd like the one with the 'Z' to be the same material as the panel.

Of course Sam, thank you. I'll drop you a PM soon. Thanks, Ian

  5. Another fantastic day yesterday. Massive thanks to Andy James for organising it all yet again, I know it’s often a thankless task that many don’t see everything that goes on behind the scenes (including all the PMs :teeth: ) that it takes to pull this off. Thanks to everyone that helped with the parking of circa 100 Z’s and thanks to everyone that came along, parked up and made our club stand the success it was. Hopefully we’ll get as good a spot next year (and at TRAX too).

Once again, thanks all for a cracking day

  6. SPOILER ALERT!

When a club member recently picked up his 370Z and mentioned he didn’t really like the Maxton lip spoiler, I swooped in like all vultures should and bagged it. :teeth:

I think it works really well with the Maxton front and side lips I already have and all the other black accents.

Also had a couple of digital images done which look pretty cool. B)

  7. David how about resealing etc? How did you do it? What did you use? Sorry for the Q’s! My main concern is sealing them correctly to ensure (as much as possible) that they don’t must up or allow condensation to form.

Any pics of the finished item back on the car? Just so we can admire your work.

  8. OK, guys (and gals) it looks like (from the size of the plot) that with circa 80 cars it's going to be a bit of a squeeze. So with this in mind please park considerately when arriving on stand. Don't just park up and bugger off  Please try to stay 'local' to your car for a short while in case we need to shuffle or squeeze folk closer together.

Yes I know everyone will be arriving in their pride and joy and would like to leave enough space between cars to avoid door dings, but you'll be parking amongst other Z owners on the owners club stand, so it's a safe assumption that everyone will have a shared respect for your car.

I'm not asking that you park like sardines unable to open doors fully, but try and apply some common sense and consideration. Cheers
