  1. Very easy to remove (just a few screws and clips). Many choose to wrap them with vinyl (myself included).
  2. They are just a push fit Randy. No tools or brackets needed like the OEM versions. Let me know if I can help any further
  3. Why can't you just remove the vinyl wrap to reveal the original boot lid? No need to buy another boot lid IMO.
  4. Well, that's the list for day one sorted, what you gonna do on the other four? Good list of mods/upgrades Tim, keep us posted with developments
  5. Good to see you're using your 'Bag for life'
  6. Frenshy was looking to swap his gunmetal JDM rear bumper for a UK one. Drop him a PM
  7. Not done this (your combo) exactly, but here's what I did have (as it may help answer you query in part) Initially a Japspeed K2 backbox, standard/OEM mid pipe and Y pipe. I wanted more volume so I had a 3 inch diameter straight through mid pipe made (OEM is 2.25 inch). It didn't give me massive increases in volume, but it did give a much nicer, deeper and ever-so-slightly louder sound. It was explained (and dumbed down to me) by the exhaust fella. My K2 was a chanbered backbox, so the gases (and sound) had to pass through various chambers before exiting the system. The OEM backbox (I imagine) is a similar design/construction. Couple of pics here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/67814-me-and-my-zed-update-110813-engine-bay-tangod/page__st__120 My quest for more volume inevitably resulted in me finding and fitting a K1. I still have the custom 3 inch mid section if you're interested

  9. That'll be Squee I was thinking the same. to the forum
  10. Hope you got deep pockets and a fat wallet Mike
  11. My 350Z is electric/battery powered anyway. I thought they all were I have a 3.5l V6 which runs an alternator, that charges the battery that makes my car run.
  12. Well, I joined the Astra Owners Club forum 24 hours ago. I posted a "Hello" message in the introductions forum, with a brief intro, explaining that I was a member on another car forum and was looking forward to becoming part of the 'Astra community' and please excuse any newbie questions etc etc (You get the idea). So far, I have had 0 that's zero responses or replies. I even resisted referring to my new purchase as a shed in the hope I wouldn't upset anyone. Looking at similar intro messages, they're 'lucky' to get near 10 replies. So get 3 or 4. No wonder so many choose to stick around here, even after they've waved goodbye to their Zed. We have a great community here guys n' gals. Much love

    It's started

I've had lots of bikes and loved them for many years. I had the ZXR750J1 (with the hoover tubes), wanted a ZX7R but got a GSXR SRAD instead. Anyways, my Zed has become my bike. I now prefer to get out in my Zed rather than get my bike out, which now sits alone, on paddock stands, plugged into an Optimate, un-used. Poor thing. The track days will still give the adrenaline kick needed. And no risk of someone pulling out of a T junction either. Congrats on your new purchase. Get new mates.
  14. Hello and Dan Buyers guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/22880-guide-for-new-memberspotential-buyers/ Zeds for sale here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/ Enjoy
  15. Once I get used to the power and how much down force and rear grip that spoiler gives me, you're on
  16. BREAKING NEWS UPDATE I've just bought this beastie. 2003 Astra SXi 1.8 16v. 2 previous local owners. £595. Not only has it already got a pair of winter tyres fitted, it also has white dials AND a rear spoiler. Which must be worth 50-60bhp. Gonna service it and change the cambelt for piece of mind, but pretty happy with my purchase.
  17. Oh go on then. You twisted my arm matey. Stick my name down for the last set (in silver please)
  18. Brilliant. I'm a Software Test Analyst, and that is gonna be shared soooooooooo much!
