  1. Some people where selling iphone 5's for £400 etc and then only sending a box as the phone wasn't in the description., Don't forget you have their address from your pay pal transaction..!! I saw something similar when PS4s were going for silly money on Ebay before Xmas. Someone had put a PS4 box on there and even though it said "just the box" very clearly the bids were already flooding in for hundreds of pounds. I have to read a lot of documents for my work and one of things you learn is to read everything very carefully! I think a lot of folks on Ebay don't read the descriptions properly before bidding. I also hate the fact that you can no longer give negative feedback as a seller, only positive. Worst decision Ebay ever made imho. The biggest joke about that situation was that eBay refunded him the bloody money They should have given him naff all because it was clearly stated in the description and listing, that it was the box ONLY.

I've seen decent HR's go for that money recently. There was one in Belfast last year, Gunmetal, average miles for an 07 - £8500
  3. I want the 07 TS, but i'd like to know about the drip tray and if shipping to me is going to cost 2 or 3 times what you've been quoted. I'm just slacking a bit and trying to decide between this, wait for Tarmacs, Wales or just not spending £600 right after Christmas lol
  4. I find this post quite odd really. You say for the performance of the car it's too expensive to run. IMO and many others, the Zed is one of the best bang for your buck cars on the road. Other cars of similar vintage and category get worse MPG, same tax and higher insurance, which brings me on to my next 2 points. The Zed has great MPG for what it is. You can easily get 30 MPG out of it, something you can't do if you drive a Scooby or Evo, or even in fact if you drive a Type R "correctly" The other point is the insurance, it's incredibly low compared to other cars in the same insurance group or even G17/16 cars, it's 20% cheaper than a standard Boxster for crying out loud. I know everyone gets different quotes for different areas etc, but I live in NI, for most companies it doesn't exist because of the risk here or they bump up the prices and even here the Zed is very affordable for a 3.5 litre sports car. Anyway, if you don't want it, flog it, someone will buy it and hopefully be happy with it and you can use the money to buy a run around and put the rest away in the rainy day fund, i.e. the "I want another Zed fund"
  5. Don't worry about the pins, all manufacturers say that about their bonnets, it's just to cover them in the case of the latch failing and the bonnet flying up. Chances of that are very slim, but plausible.
  6. As i already posted, £625 for the 07 TS and £510 for the 07 bulge. Thats worked out for 10% BTW. Ian is there a time limit to this? I think it should be pretty easy to get 10 people if the time is available for people, especially since it's all items, not just bonnets, which is a bit weird, but I'm not complaining
  7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350Z-GEARBOX-6-SPEED-2007-/281241003585?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item417b452641 Out of a 2007 with 35k. Great replacement if you're considering a gearbox rebuild which will probably set you back £500-600. This updates box has uprated synchro's, so the problem shouldn't reappear. I'm pretty sure it's a straight swap, too.
  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bride-350Z-Interior-/271366286362?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f2eb0ec1a looks to be decent condition and a nice price for someone
  9. When I was 10 I single handedly emptied the whole of Belfast International. Left my hold all at the baggage collection in the middle of the floor like an idiot. So after it was sitting there when everyone had left it was deemed a suspicious package. Northern Ireland in the 90's being Northern Ireland in the 90's, airport called the cops who in turn called the bomb squad who in turn, 4 hours later phoned my house to come get our bag
  10. It is a bit silly, but it does mean that buyers can leave negative feedback, if warranted, without the worry of getting negative back. It happened me before, I left negative feedback for a bad seller and got a negative back, even though I paid instantly in full which is all I can do. Really should have sent recorded, especially around Xmas where packages go missing all the time.
  11. That looks great on your car, I think you're making a mistake in selling it
  12. For those interested in bonnets, it works out about £625 for the 07 TS and £510 for the standard 07 + shipping. Wasso, any chance you could give them a shout about the TS and see if they have a drip tray like someone mentioned earlier that they got with a bonnet before, to stop rain getting all over our shiny bits?
  13. Sometimes you need to sacrifice food for love of Zed life. £408 isn't that bad, make a holiday out of it. Extend it to a full week and enjoy some time this side of the water? "There is always next year" may never happen. Hence this year I'm forking out for a 3 week European tour to take in Monaco, Romania and Prague. Just to make sure "We don't keep saying, maybe next year" DO IT!! I'd love too and making a week of it was what we'd planned to do anyway when we first started thinking of going this year. However, annoyingly her auntie has decided to get married this year, which will be taking place in Poland and also her best friend is taking her baby back to Poland to get Christened and possibly a small wedding then also, both around June to August. So there are 2 trips we're going to have to take. I can only hope there will be a next year and this time I'm going to set money aside for it and refuse to go to anymore more overseas weddings and crap
  14. Just looked at ferry prices (If I could physically get on one). £408 return to Liverpool I think by the time we work out if we could do it, all the rooms will be long gone Oh well, always next year.
  15. I wonder if it was done by accident.
  16. Good luck getting one for £700 from Nissan, try closer to £1200, that's what I was quoted last year. Second hand they can be worth up to £400 each. I recently sold my spare drivers side with a slightly broken mount for £280 on here.
  17. Looks like the primer is laid on too thick. I don't know anything about plastidip primer, but the coloured stuff is a rubber based paint, if the primer is similar it'll not be sandable. Also it seems a bit pointless to sand back for plastidip anyway, it's a textured finish.
  18. Previous to going away, how long was your commute? If its only a short one, like mine, you'll not be getting much charge into the battery each day, especially if you're urban driving to work where you'll spend X amount of time at lights etc. So each time you drive to work, you're probably losing a little power in the battery and the cold has killed it off. Jump it and take her for a good run for a half hour or so and she'll be fine again. On the other hand, if you have a decent commute, then your battery is ****ed
  19. That's the alternative method I was thinking of as I've got a blank space next to my heated seats switches. How can I access the 12v power socket to feed off its power? You can get a 12v supply right behind the heater switches via the cigarette lighter socket. I don't have a cigarette lighter socket where my heated seat switches are. I've got a cigarette lighter socket by the passenger footwell but haven't tried to see what access is like. Just thinking what would be easier, linking straight into sidelights or via its own switch? Well it not "right" behind the switches, its on the rear panel behind you where al the cubby holes are.
  20. It looks pretty good, but those images will have been taken from the photo mode on PC with the graphics turned up to 11 and there was something off with the ring. It may have just been the unusual interior camera being set back in the car in the centre, but the track looked stretched or something I'll be interested to see the console versions and some reviews about the driving experience.
  21. As others said, get it to a body shop and they'll see if it can be polished out. If not, £100 a panel would be a nice price since their doing the whole side of the car. I've had both front quarters and nearside rear done for £100 each at different times.
  22. Oh thats weird, Will's has white stickers on his dampers. Special treatment I think
