  1. I also prefer the look of a smaller plate, but I have one question. Which are legal! Keyser, im guessing yours isn't, technically, looks teeny tiny!
  2. Amen to that! I hate this rule of "If it needs replacing, might as well go for upgraded items", but it certainly makes it easier both in my head, and to the Mrs to justify the cost of a new part. My exhaust is blowing, oh dear, I need a full custom Stainless system now....
  3. Of course Shaun, I partially had you in mind when making the desicison on whether to do this because of your comments on my other thread. 1. Jaz 350z - Black, maybe! 2. Shaun1982 - Black
  4. Hey all, As some of you may have seen, I have created some Audi style DRL reflectors that fit perfectly into the OEM reflector holes in the DE style bumper, these are cars from 2003-2006. Below is a photo of them on my car The package will contain; 1x Set of LED reflectors, 4x Scotch Lock connectors, 1x Printed fitting instructions, 45CM of wire on each reflector. My original designs posted on this forum were rather rough and I'm making some changes to these units. The LED's will be wired individually and wire joints will be reduced whilst also improving the quality of the joins. As for testing, once built, the LED's are lit for 24 hours and water tested them to ensure they are totally sealed from the elements, I want to make 100% sure that these don't fail a few weeks down the line so I will be rigorous with my testing. These will be sold in Silver or Black versions with White LED's only at the moment. The Silver reflectors have a clear lens with a silver backing, the Black ones again have a clear lens but have a black backing giving them a darker appearance but don't affect light output. The price for these will be as follows; £50.00 + 3.00 shipping for the Clear/silver ones £65.00 + 3.00 shipping for the Black ones The reflectors are shows here (without the LED mod fitted) so you can see what they look like! Black Silver Posting will be done by Royal Mail's Recorded service. The usual wait for these is around 10-14 days due to the backlog in ordering parts and me hand making them. So, the list is below, if there's any questions please ask away 1. Jaz 350z - Black (Delivered) 2. Shaun1982 - Black (Delivered) http://www.350z-uk.c...0-drl-fleckers/ 3. 5. Best bumper for a Zed imo, im after one at some point too. I believe RT Performance do them, with or without some nice Carbon on there too.
  6. Wired mine into the sidelights You will have to let me know how these go, the white ones are rated between 16,000 and 20,000 MCD where the ones I used were 30,000. I am actually collecting parts together to sell a limited number of these, a few wiring modifications based on what ive learnt, will probably stick with the 30,000 ones for the set im building anyway, but interesting to see the results of yours too!
  7. bargain price for the 452's with that amount of tread. A little far from me otherwise I would have had them, GLWTS.
  8. I still cant see a price, I take it this advert still had to be approved.. * No Auction style sales to be carried out - that's what eBay is for. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in the for sale advert being removed.
  9. Annoys me too, made me jump out of my skin earlier (volume was one crazy loud for some reason!)
  10. This, most of the time anyway. I know I have plenty of power, I don't feel the need to show the Saxo VTR stuck up my exhausts that I do too. But then, if im in a bad mood I have been known to disappear off into the distance faster than a rabbit down a hole. I do agree with the questionable driving of seemingly, the vast majority of audi drivers too.
  11. They will be fine, however you can get the same thing from ebay for a few £
  12. Are they not in the roof liner, just infront (or behind, somehow ive forgotten) the roof lights.
  13. i have this too (creaking) changed drop links so isn't that!
  14. Aiden, it's hard to say. Another led is (roughly) 16% more LEDs then 6 so it will be brighter but mine are also 30,000mcd and I don't know the power of the ones you purchased. Shaun, defiantly possible, those LEDs are plenty bright enough.
  15. Come on guys, get some names down! Thred with the names and details is here... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70069-hel-braided-brake-line-gb/page__st__20#entry1051006
  16. Just two bolts iirc (and obviously a brake bleed afterwards). There may even be a group buy going on somewhere on here for some HEL lines. And yes Watshot, you are correct in your assumption. No idea why they fitted hard lines anyway, stupid idea really... EDIT, GB link is here, ends in a few days. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70069-hel-braided-brake-line-gb/page__st__20#entry1051006
  17. Would opening the fuel filler cap not do this, mine often hisses when its empty so id assume this would do it.
  18. Yes mattross1313 , don't do what I did and waste a million hours of your life figuring wtf is going on. You could add more LED's in, but as I say, I was aiming for 6 and got 7 and was happy with that, id say you would struggle to get more then 12 in, and then bear in mind the extra wires you and up soldering! I someone wants a set or two built I don't mind doing a few, id advise however going without the LED controller, just complicated things in terms of wiring and adds more complexity.
  19. Looks great guys, new premises looks amazing, looks like a warehouse compared to your old place!
  20. Hmm, sounds like I just need to replace my gearbox then...
  21. best of luck, ask if you have any questions
  22. Build them them. The most complex tool I needed was a soldering iron. Entire thing only took: 1x Screwdriver 1x Soldering iron 14x 30,000MCD 5mm LED's 2x Clear reflectors 1x Tube of clear Silicone 2-3x Metres of wire pretty simple really
  23. @ Mattross - These are the ones I used.eBay link They come with resistors but if youre using just 1 LED, these are needed, as I found out, if you using 3 in series the LED's themselves create enough resistance. They are 12v 5MM diodes. @FUG - The fitment on these is perfect. Aside from the markings on the back that say made in Taiwan, if I had bought the car from new with these fitted I would have assumed they were genuine Nissan. @rtbiscuit - Cheers I cant remember now (im not driving to work this week, car sharing with a colleague) but I think you can still kind of see the LED's themselves, but the uneven reflector surface does help to break up the lights so it does spread out. Glad everybody likes them anyway. The original plan was to make and sell these, but its a good 10 hours work at least in each one set and £25-30 in materials, too much time! In all honestly, I suspect 99% of people can make these, the soldering stuff is fairly easy, just takes a lot of measurements to make sure your mid line and drill holes are perfect, a very small difference is glaringly obvious once the LED's are illuminated.
  24. As I said in my for sale post, against a darker colour my old ones would look great. Just didn't look right on my silver
