  1. Yep, very easy with a led strip, just be VERY careful with the electrics and the BCM
  2. Simple as this Subaru 1200~ kgs Turbo charger 250 lb-ft torque 350z 1500~ kgs No turbo 180 lb-ft torque Do the math, more weight with no turbo, yes of course it feels slower, the torque is what makes a car feel fast. The impreza is a turbo nutter barge, the 350 is much more of a GT car. Without adding significant mods its never going to be lightning from a stand-still. However I know this. I can get out of my 350 and not have a broken back and bleeding ears...
  3. Assuming its OK for me to pay right at the end of the month, im in. If there is a colour choice, black or silver. Failing that I can always wrap it in black vinyl. 1. Trigg 2. TheHeff 3. Ironhide 4. SkylineV35 5. Paddy78 6. Evilscorp 7. R-Face 8. Vlad (Blue if possible) 9. Wolfie.irl (if blue is available) 10. Mick-r1 11. cs2000 (black, or silver if available)
  4. Voted, first from what I can see. I don't use facebook so think link was very handy.non FB LinkNow to submit votes in several different browsers..... Remember, its NOT the silver zed with Japspeed plastered down the side, its the nice one
  5. I also ran through the box at the weekend. Obviously started with a wash using the CleanMax shampoo. To me, it cleans well yes, but no better than the meguiars Gold Class stuff im already using, smelt nice though Than I did the whole car in the Hubikote polish, I know this isn't really what its for, I envisage it for a panel at a time when work needs doing, but I cant see how it would hurt to give the car one go over. I probably didn't apply it right, applied it like a liquid wax, over the whole car using circular motions and then buffed off. Buffs off quite easily but its very easy to over-apply. Then onto the C2 sealant. Sealant in itself is a new product to me so was unsure of what to expect. I applied it on-top of any wax that would have still been on the car in much the same fashion as I do my Quick Detailer. Didn't notice any smearing at all, seems to go on fine and leave no visible trace. No idea what it should do really... Then, wax time. This for me was a first. I have always used "liquid" waxes, namely, again Meguiars Ultimate wax. It took me a while to figure out the quantity required (and obviously the new pad soaks a lot of it up at first). The wax was lovely, a pleasure to work with (and smelt damn good). Went on fairly easily and as soon as I felt the pad start to bind a little with the paint I wiped a bit more wax on. Buffed off very very easily too, but I was being cautious not to over-apply. Only one coat sadly as I was short on time that day, but looks very good after an initial buff. At this stage I was VERY impressed. With the meguiars stuff normally the paintwork is still a little rough to touch, but with this it was almost perfect, not sure if it was the Hubikote stuff or the amazing wax but it felt great. Lastly, the Quick detailer. Again, yes it worked and the paintwork felt lovely afterwards, nice and slick, but quite how its different to my usual meguiars ultimate QD, I don't know. Maybe its a longevity thing but we will see. Over-all, very good box. I felt a good benefit from the Hubikote and the Wax, but personally un sure of the benefits over what im already using with regards to the QD and the shampoo, I usually use meguiars ultimate for everything so im not using a cheap brand as it is so was half expecting mixed results like I have gotten. The Sealant seems strange, cant really see the point in it really, im almost sure that after a good waxing, buffing, DQ and mre buffing I would have wiped the sealant off. @ilogikal1, I hope you don't have any nasty clay marks today! I once did this on a rather hot day, 25 degree plus in the sun using meguiars clay. The car was so hot it melted the clay whilst i was doing it and it took me 2-3 weeks of washing and buffing to finally get it all back off again, it would appear to be gone and them the next day more would show up! Sadly ive got nowhere in the shade to clean my car so I have to take the chance in the sun!
  6. Glad its working! Ive fitted one over the weekend too and tapped into the pale green wire in the boot but further to the main grounding bolt, I hope its the same wire as the one further along the boot, we shall see

    BLEEDING BRAKES

Makes me worried reading this thred, I need to do this once the braided lines arrive from the GB on here. I have one of those 1 man bleeding kits with the 1 way valve in it. We shall see...
  8. Two hole in side of engine.. Broken con rod? Sounds nasty either way

    Brake dust

I always thought the EBC Redstuff were pretty good with dust too, but not sure id fit them on the Zed. The OEM brembos are very bad. In the end ive just (this weekend) changed to Ferodo pads, they seem decent so far. Very easy job to do aswell, surprised me.
  10. Wow that's bright ! and yet, it looks at home next to the green Zed
  11. Looks like 2 bolts yes? One on engine and one on strut brace leg. If this is all fitting entails if like one too. But yeah, any other colours? I get paid again on last Friday of month if that would be on for payment?
  12. Me? No, not just using the 3.5 jack. If I have the power cable connected to the phone too then yes I do, but only very slight and only really noticeable at low volumes
  13. May be usefull, may not be http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69937-newbie-washer-jets-not-working/
  14. I should say, mine was an obvious metal noise (seeing as it was a coin rolling around the boot floor) rather than just a non descript noise like gravel on plastic would be.
  15. @ jjt, props for doing it yourself ! I have wrapped loads of parts, the roof on the Zed however had me totally baffled. Spent an hour and a half attempting it, I then cut my losses and went to RT Performance
  16. I had exactly the same noise. Bugged me for WEEKS. All my issues were traced down to a 2P coin. It had fallen onto the actual boot floor (the metal, where the spare tyre sits). Every time I turned a corner it slid across the boot floor and then sneakily hid under the black polystyrene parts on the left and right of the boot . Meant ripping out a few bits of plastic and getting those things out. I then put it in my penny jar
  17. No new Mini updates I beginning to miss them, this is my soap opera, like Eastenders for men
  18. haha! first post of the day, made me laugh!
  19. Photo moved or deleted I have read all the bottles and sniffed everything (don't know why I always do this...) I now just want to put the box in the cupboard and save it, lol, I will try and get something done with it this weekend however. Am very interested to see how this stuff compares to my usual massive bag full of Meguiars stuff...
  20. What was wrong with yours Shaun? Looking forward to seeing mine at home now
  21. My bets on this too. The code doesn't match that however..
  22. Cheers Raduv, have added you onto the list. Il be in touch as soon as batch 1 is out to arrange payment and delivery info etc
  23. Thanks Octet, have stuck you on the list in page 1 <3 the car by-the-way
