  1. Haha oh dear PM replied too
  2. Shouldn't have to do that unless its lowered. I have a standard Halfords jack and it needs about 1mm of clearance, I can actually just pull the car upwards with my hands to let me slide it under.
  3. Ofcourse, il do my best to explain in a PM Should be fairly simple to be honest
  4. Dear god those things are bright, id think it advisable to maybe wire in a relay to drop the voltage down to 7V or so when you switch to headlights!
  5. Haha what a letter! I imagine white signs with red letters stuck on the corners "KEEP OFF THE GRASS"

  7. Id be up for some new struts for the boot. I only have the lip spoiler, but considering getting the uprated struts anyway just to be sure they work properly.
  8. One day I WILL get some of these... Wheel refurbs are somewhere between £50 - £60 per wheel usually
  9. Agreed with the copper grease Good guide, its not a hard job but it saves newbies having to search all over the internet for a guide
  10. Agreed, lovely craftsmanship Where's the Supercharger kit!?
  11. Great to see it finally running mate, been a long hard road to get here. Top work
  12. No worries, not my bulbs ( ) but always willing to help Yeah as ive said before, the feint glow is only there because the LED's start working at a much lower voltage than a filament bulb. That voltage is always running, its just with the filament bulbs that are in as standard you need around 7V to illuminate them due to the internal resistance, they are very inefficient and transform a lot of their energy into heat rather than light, this isn't an issue with the LED's. I've measured the current draw across the two terminals when the lights should be off, and its 1.5V, this is by design and is constantly flowing regardless of what bulb you fit into the holder, LED or otherwise . Short story, nothing to worry about at all, has happened to me on the last 3 cars I've owned.
  13. The amp for the bose kit is in the boot, not next to it, id start there but I suspect its sub and not amp related as I think its the same amp for the entire system (could be wrong though).
  14. I also have one of those L0c8tor devices, actually use it as a car tracker. They charge for GPS credits as you can log onto a website and do your tracking, as well as set up "boundaries" where you can receive SMS alerts if your car (or dog) leaves a certain boundary. Most things, such as Tile, are just Bluetooth tags. E.G, if you have one in your wallet and walk away from it, the tag will lose connection with your phone, then all the app does is tell you the last place it saw the tag, but these are no good if your dog runs away, it will only tel you the last time the dog got far enough away from your phone to lose the Bluetooth link.
  15. Ordered mine a few weeks ago, looking forward to this one.
  16. Currently getting 22 MPG, something around 250 miles or so at the moment.
  17. Hmm, wonder if the 350 does then, look at the length of these cables... need to get my door card of and if sop find someone who can sell me some of those plugs
  18. I'd personally change the pads, but the disks should be fine.
  19. Well put Husky! The reasons you've outlined are the reason I got as far as purchasing some LED's but never bothered making something for myself or for the club. Il get round to do it some day but needs some time and investigation on my part and at the moment its too cold, nor do I have the cash! Secondly, it wouldn't be the easiest thing to install. As you say, if someone were to buy it, they'd need to route cables through the doors, wire in the relay to the correct wire and a good 12v feed. Needs some decent electronics nonce to do it safely and I don't want to break anyone's car!
  20. Exactly my thoughts. Damage looks basically the same as Wasso's, but his airbags didn't deploy, probably saved his cars life to be honest otherwise on-top of the damage for paint, new door, new 1/4 panel they will need at least 2 new airbags (more if you/the original owner took the optional extra with door & A pillar airbags), new seatbelt pre-tensioners as they would have fired too and I cant remember if they have to reset the ECU that controls them but I believe it may be a replacement one of those too.
  21. I'm amazed that nobody has replaced the reflectors with LED's . Pete Shh, don't spoil my surprise... Also, lol at http://www.clearcorners.com/products/nissan/z33/i_door/ $300 for a set!
