Yeah as ive said before, the feint glow is only there because the LED's start working at a much lower voltage than a filament bulb. That voltage is always running, its just with the filament bulbs that are in as standard you need around 7V to illuminate them due to the internal resistance, they are very inefficient and transform a lot of their energy into heat rather than light, this isn't an issue with the LED's. I've measured the current draw across the two terminals when the lights should be off, and its 1.5V, this is by design and is constantly flowing regardless of what bulb you fit into the holder, LED or otherwise .
Short story, nothing to worry about at all, has happened to me on the last 3 cars I've owned.
