  1. Haha, right, new list has come across which is correct, aside from 2 members who he has added an extra £5.30 onto each, ive contacted him back explaining the way I worked the price out and asking for clarification. REALLY want to get these ordered today. Sorry for the constant posts but want to keep you all updated
  2. Hmm, the initial list he sent me was 100% wrong lol! He had Lexx and Grundy still in the GB, me buying the Nismo struts....ive re-sent him the list of people and orders...
  3. OK Morning update. Ive chased Dave around 10AM, he apologised for the delay but was "on site" this morning. He has calculated what everyone owes based on the order quantities and should be sending that over for me to check. From the way he described how the discounts work it should 100% match my pricing calculations. Good news, he now does have the jacking pucks in stock
  4. A 2008 with 102,000 miles. Errr, no thanks mate. This should raise every warning sign possible, its a state, guy has been done for DD and miles are massive for that age.
  5. Yeah, I thought that too! Still, as I say, if it comes too it, il order the pads separately later on and post them to you all.
  6. Nothing confirmed today sadly, sent the email as soon as id wrote the post, but got nothing back yet Im sure my numbers are fine, so I wouldn't worry!
  7. Ha-ha the golden unicorn. Such a thing doesn't exist, absolutely no idea why. You're always going to be paying somewhere around £80 for the facelift clear reflectors.
  8. Got hold of him finally. He has asked for my spreadsheet of all the orders required and your address's which ive sent to him. Hopefully the pricing I've worked out is correct and I will be able to send them payment today. He says there's around a 3 day lead time on the items. Please note however. They currently have no stock of the rubber jacking puck, he says he MAY be able to find some, alternatively ive told him to forget about these and I will order them myself in a few weeks time once stock arrives, I hope this is OK with you all?? Secondly, the standard struts have a rod diameter (the silver part) of 11mm, the SGS struts are only 8mm, Dave says its just the way SGS have always made them and it allows for a slimmer strut. He assures me that it makes absolutely no difference in their testing and the strut is just as reliable and strong as standard, but he wanted me to make you all aware so they don't get flooded with questions about why they aren't the same thing.
  9. Hmm, given Dave at SGS a ring a couple of times, first time he was on the phone, now he is busy in the workshop, il keep trying, im sure il get hold of him in the end. At the end of the day, its several hundred pounds of business for them ! EDIT: Tried calling Dave again and apparently he was with a customer, I get the feeling he is avoiding me....
  10. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301024094849?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 any good?
  11. yep you are, mine is a UK GT revup and ran this unit perfectly No worries, removed my post so as to not put people off then
  12. Ocasionally this is the case with dealers. With my old Celica, the cheapest battery from Halfords was £79, yet the dealer would sell you one of those calcium super batteries for somewhere around £50.
  13. OK Everyone has now paid. My lunch is in just under an hour, il be giving SGS a call at 12 to hopefully place the order Needless to say that I cant take any more orders now, its too late in the day. Thanks to everyone for getting payments in promptly Flex - Paid WhackyWill - Paid M13KYF - Paid KurtB - Paid cs2000 - Paid Chippychip123 - Paid Sarahp18 - Paid Alanm - Paid Randy_Baton - Paid Wizurd - Paid 370AD - Paid
  14. I was under the impression that the airbag system's main brain had to be replaced in pretty much any car, they're a one time use type of thing. That, along with the seatbelts as they stretch during a crash, the the belt pre-tensioners.
  15. Mine was knocking like mad and making some really horrible squeaking noises and it was the bushes on both sides, the arm was fine. I'd start with the bush, but remember you need a press to both fit and remove the old bush from the arm.
  16. Lol will. Yeah, SGS have really just given us a "token" discount, but looking at the orders list, it's clearly paid off lol
  17. I'd agree, assuming the new bulb is known working, and the fuse is ok (1 fuse does both sides so must be fine). Can try swapping the ballast from the other side to diagnose it, water in the lens sounds like someone didn't refit the grey cap on the back of the lights properly last time a bulb was changed. There are other ways you can get water in there such as a cracked headlight housing, but leaving the cap off slightly is the easiest way.
  18. Ahh that's a shame, but as I didn't organise the original details I don't want to say yes and then for it not to be the case.
  19. Yes, 10%. As far as I know, the discount is only good for the trolley jacks, pucks and struts. Flex is the one who originally organised the GB and he is away on Holiday, im just dealing with payments for him. Let me know if you still want in on this basis.
  20. Thanks and your spot on. I did my sidelights with LED's about 4 months ago but unfortunately either I had bad luck or the ones I bought from eBay weren't genuine CREE LED's as one has failed already. Gave cs2000 a PM and now I've got all my LED's sorted and I highly recommend using him for bulbs if you haven't already. Great guy, service & excellent bulbs. Aww shucks. haha
  21. Indeed you have! List updated Flex - Paid WhackyWill - Paid M13KYF - Paid KurtB - Paid cs2000 - Paid Chippychip123 - Paid Sarahp18 - Paid Alanm - Paid Randy_Baton - Paid Wizurd - Paid 370AD - PM Sent Im hoping to have all payments done by tomorrow morning so I can order the items tomorrow from SGS
  22. Will be good when its finished.... You have to finish! will be all worth the while once the twins are sat in that engine bay. Surely some magazine shoots would be on the cards?
