  1. Looking forward to learning new skills to make me faster on the hills!
  2. Would be good to see you on board mate!
  3. Cracking weekend Lexx! Thanks to you and the team for organising. As you have said we need to keep the momentum going so we can all enjoy many more future events!
  4. Been away on holiday so just a gentle bump!
  5. It stuck again on the way home from the Bristol breakfast meet the other weekend so I sanded down the brass piston some more and luckily it was fine over the weekend considering the heat. The unreliability is driving me nuts so another make,or repositioning seems to be the way forward.
  6. A few pics from a very hot Sunday at Shelsley Walsh last Sunday. It was a round of the HSA and other championships. Got another second in class but again got duffed up by a Celica GT4. Really struggling against these light 4x4 Rally cars as again down by nearly a second on launch and through the twisties but through the mid way and finish line speed traps I'm going 20 mph faster. I'm sure some of it is down to my lack of confidence as the car definitely has a lot more to give. Video footage to follow.
  7. Very slick! Well done mate.
  8. Welcome along! Don't listen to anyone on this forum as you may contract Zeditus.
  9. Really enjoyed JDM yesterday with three track sessions with all the usual suspects! Well the old sticking BOV problem came back on my way home! There are many souls on here that have witnessed and have helped me with this affliction. Basically I've been struggling with the Turbosmart BOV which when it sticks open I get no boost! I'm on the second one now and after reading on the Evo forums who suggest you sand down and polish the brass piston, which I have done, the bloody thing still sticks! Took it apart today and rubbed the brass monkey to death and Woosh! We have boost again. Not sure what's going on here but I'm thinking of try another brand as the lack of reliability Is driving me nuts. So some good news. Got confirmation of entry to Shelsley Walsh this coming Sunday for the Reg Phillips Trophy and a round of the HSA championship so if anyone is at a loose end it would be great to have a bacon roll and a catch up. Granville I promise to sort out the dash cam!
  10. Club stand booked so a stand pass could be still available a month beforehand. The earlier we get confirmed numbers, the better stand location we will be allocated.
  11. 1. Z370Z 2. Harryjax 3. Low IQ 4. JurassicZ 5. KPowell 6. Paul K 7. buster 8. Crute/Higgins350z - Zed 9. Crute/Higgins350Z - R32 10. choptop Sorry Adele we won't be able to attend due to being in Spain.
  12. Being a life long sufferer the combination of Laradatine and a daily spoonful local Dorset Honey works a treat!
  13. Really enjoyed today as the weather held, great stand area and I have to say the show was about the right size for the venue as no 2 mile crawl into the venue and chaos on arrival! As ever the Zeds on show were diversive which is what makes us stand out. Thanks and well done to Nso93 for organising.
  14. Does the noise go away once you get up into the upper gears? I've just changed the oil in my Kazz and it's so much better with regards to the clunking but it's stil a Land Rover under load in 2nd and 3rd at low revs.
  15. Cheers mate. Yes I have a video of my final run so I will get it off the camera and post it tonight. Sorry GM but for some reason my dash camera video footage recorded in mute and then overlapped and added the sound from a previous video of me and Buster blasting around Silverstone at Japfest! Lol. For those that have not seen how tight the track is at Gurston Down, this is a video of a slightly faster run from 2015!
  16. Thanks Matt for the great shots. Yes I've taken the Z around Clay Pigeon many times. It's such a laugh blasting a car around a go cart circuit in second gear!
  17. A very good petrol head school mate of 30 years plus popped over with his car on Friday evening after picking it up from the body shop after a very long and expensive restoration. I have to say that the colour is drop dead gorgeous and how timeless the shape of this car Which is over 20 years old.
  18. Bump! We all know a bigger stand is in order. Well done to you guys that have paid.
  19. Cheers mate. Yes I have a video of my final run so I will get it off the camera and post it tonight.
  20. They are mate but only in certain championships run by individual clubs like the all circuits Sprint championships organised by the Tunbride wells MC which put all 4 wheel drive cars in their own classes. Unfortunately the larger national events like the British Hillclimb championship and the HSA are run by the BARC and are governed by the MSA so Class A4 (road going cars over 2000cc) is my only option.
  21. My mate Shaun in his 450bhp scooby. Can't beat his grip off the line and out of the tight corners.
