  1. BMD waxes are quite nice to use actually, they're fairly decent waxes. However most of that finish came from the extensive prep. I've not used Sirius a great deal, but it does leave a lovely wet finish. I could never justify the price tag though so I've only ever used someone else's and never really had the chance to put it through the ilogikal1 product test procedures.
  2. I have just leaned that the new Wax Club boxes will feature more than just their waxes. Rich is looking to expand the WaxAddict brand to offer a full range, so the products each month will be development versions of Various products from shampoo to pre-wax cleaners and all sorts. So, Stu, you'll get the weird surprise stuff still... It might be wonderful just yet though.
  3. Sorry, are you suggesting someone has designed either the front or the rear end at all? Intentionally? It just looks to me like someone's taken a parts catalogue and thrown it all together to me. Still, that seat looks good at least. Having said that, Civics never were pretty cars.
  4. G1. Not tried Gyeon View as yet, but it's the same technology and I've not seen anyone who has actually tried it complain about it. Either will last 12 months+. Don't buy anything from them then.
  5. They're selling off all their stock and closing the retail side of it to concentrate on the Britemax range, according to Matt. They'll still exist and have issued reassurances that they're not disappearing in the event of any issues with the current sales but they won't be restocking - once it's gone...
  6. Yep, it's very good on exhausts and kitchen hobs... not that I've tried these things you understand.
  7. There are plenty of cheap imitations about these days.
  8. Yes please. And I'm going to sit here and cry until I get one. Or dehydrate, whichever comes first.
  9. Basically that ^^^ Slightly different concept in that it's just the Waxaddict development waxes rather than 5 blind products, but it's actually less monies isn't it? It's been a while since I bought a normal price Waxybox so I can't remember. They've called it Wax Club if you want to look it up (phone, linking too much effort I'm afraid).
  10. There are a billionty threads on this very topic. I always give the same advice in them all. Find one of them because I can't be bothered to recite the same things yet again.
  11. I still haven't opened the previous one yet. Have you seen what they're offering instead of these, Stu?

    Over fenders

You're excused. Don't let it happen again.
  13. Regardless, it's still an illegal act in the given situation and he was stupid enough to provide the world with the evidence of him that breaking law. At the very least he deserved to get charged for that act - albeit with a more appropriate and proportional punishment.
  14. Wasps aren't animals, wasps are just bastards.
  15. He's not a murderer, let's not escalate this to something greater that it really is. That is libel though, just FYI.
  16. That's a bit harsh, Granville was only offering an opinion. Sorry, it's been a slow afternoon.
  17. I'd be thinking "At last, I can upgrade to a P1 when the insurance pays out.".
  18. FTFY, Stu. Because what better way to show your utter disdain for the needless murder of an animal than issuing death threats?
  19. I'm not sure I'd drive it, but I actually don't hate that. ...so I think I might still drunk from last night.
  20. I wasn't a fan of the AG stuff when I tried it, so just lather it on because it'll just fall off within a fortnight anyway. In all seriousness though, any over-spray will be removed from the discs pretty quickly so just apply with a bit of care (i.e. aim at the wheel rather than at the disc) and you should be alright. You could remove the wheels if you want to be overly cautious, but in my opinion it's not worth the effort of doing that to use AG stuff.
  21. My Black Diamond discs have lost the coating on the non-contact areas and have started to rust too. I wouldn't expect the coating to last if I were you.
  22. If you shell out on the bigger, bucket size (and it is actually a bucket), they should last you a fair while - I find I use 4 wipes each time (two for each seat) and they only need doing every 4-6months really, for example. Although I did use a few more the first time when they were comparatively quite dirty, they should still last me a good few years which isn't too bad for £24 delivered. One tip though; use gloves when using them! The new leather scent seems to seep into the the pores of skin and your hands will smell like leather for a week no matter how much you wash them.
  23. There are a number of cheaper options, but there are none better than Dr Leather wipes*. *Except possibly Dr Leather spray.
  24. Trix isn't anywhere near as good as two dedicated products, but none of the combined tar & fallout removers are to be honest.
  25. It's fine on the bodywork. Tar remover isn't particularly good for black plastic trim though, so go careful around the relevant areas and don't let it dry on anything. Other than that you don't really need to take any special care.
