What you've just done there is explain that you jumped to F1 as an example of why this can't possibly happen for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Nissan don't do F1. F1 is an irrelevant comparison here. So no, the new GT-R absolutely will not be adapted from F1 tech. Well done you for working that one out.

As Ricey said, polishing every two months is massive overkill, even with a DA. The best thing you can buy for the Silverline is a bin to put it in. Your "need" to polish every two months is down to two things; SRP isn't a polish (despite its name), it's a glaze at best and bloody awful to work with IMO. It has very little, if any depending on which version you're using, cut itself but is full of fillers. Thus you're not actually correcting anything. You could use it with your polisher if you bought a finishing pad with no cut, but SRP is even worse by machine than it is by hand, ESPECIALLY with a rotary! And/or your wash technique needs addressing as you're inflicting more swirls more often. The correct wash technique will ensure that you need to polish as little as possible. Either way, a Silverline rotary polisher isn't the right answer.

Not quite, the agreement is that a certain number of CL football would be shown on free TV, so ITV took the free contingency from Sky's deal. BT have just invested in a channel that won't show anything for most of its existence in BT Showcase which is free to view and will show "at least" 12 CL matches. Or something along those lines.

Sorry, I misunderstood your post. If the LSP over it is good, it should last 3-4 weeks quite comfortably. It could be that the Britemax wax hasn't bonded well to it and it's washed off or it be newly inflicted swirls - I'm assuming you've used that combo on the Z? The Z's paint is very easy to marr with it being so horrendously soft.

That's because it's a glaze not an LSP; it needs to be topped with either a wax or sealant.

That was just one theory, amongst the many, many boring ones the other theory which tickled me was that he changed it when he started public speaking as a means to hold the interest of the watching crowd - apparently the "doesn't that look a little odd" factor is quite handy for public speakers. Who knew! Similar theory about Churchill was that he had a metal pin in his cigars so the observing crowd would be drawn in by wondering when the ash was going to fall from it. If you're keeping it unpainted, you'll be best off with a coating - Gyeon Trim, Nanolex Trim Rejuvinator or GTechniq C1/4/5 to name a few of the better ones I have tried myself. If you get the preparation right, they should last in the region of a year at a time (if not more). Preparation for best results requires the surface to be perfectly clean - that means more than just a wipe over with a soapy sponge by the way - free of oils and completely dry. On the other hand if with the likes of a tyre dressing, you can expect to re-apply monthly if not more often to be honest. There are better trim dressings than those aimed at tyres though - I'm personally not a fan of AG products in general, whilst they're not necessarily bad, they're not usually much good either and sit firmly in the average category for the most part - and products like Auto Finesse Revive or Dr Beasley's Plastic Sealant would be my preferred choice. If you are painting it though, that changes everything.

Perhaps, as you have the time to spare, you could commit some of that time to learning the English language.
