So it wasnt set up in word to print with watermark, I doubt it's the pdf software's fault, just a print option enabled in word.

Fair point, I guess it's just fear of the unknown really and sick of taking cars to the garage as inevitably it's me that has to do it and would save me time if I (almost) had a guarantee I wouldn't need to. Although prob have to main dealer it for servicing, sigh.

I think I've sorted it with a bit of VBA (never used it before) seems to be working. Prev accountant is a nightmare, rather not speak to them!!
