  1. I dont want to come across as sarcastic, even though I normally do! In this instance I wanna be diplomatic.
  2. We got married last week!! Had a fantastic day. Quick question, we're sending thankyou cards, question is two couples didnt get us anything (and whilst that's not the problem) it's a bit strange. We did have a few bottles of wine as gifts with no tags on. What would you do a) send a vague thankyou card send nothing c) say a few things got separated from card and ask what they gave?
  3. The old one's probably in need of retirement now anyway. I vote new one.
  4. So the car slaesman was saying,I cant remember what he said to but sounded good
  5. Yeah but the 2ltr diesel! Goes well!
  6. What the actual flurk, I'd would have kept this secret Matt. Geek central. Cool jumper though
  7. I could test drive one (R32) but I think I've fallen in love with the sciricco, always wanted one (old style) so why not?
  8. So I test drove the 1.6 diesel civic, boring! Then test drove the 170GT Scirrocco and loved it!!!! 2.0TDCI, looks different, has some poke and well, just good fun should I???
  9. Not the gt86, will look up the dc5. Currently waiting to test drive the civic.
  10. The problem is Dan, I ain't got a wish list for what the car needs to do but I'll have a go: 4 seats Good/acceptable in the snow. Decent(ish) mpg Decent sized boot Not ugly Fair running costs If lease around £250-300 per month If 2nd hand say £10-15k If 2nd hand decent residual value/wont lose too much value over say 2/3 yrs
  11. So, after giving Aimee the Zed, I wanted to go contract hire and then started looking. 1st I thought new civic diesel, then though why not get a company car and have some fun. Cant decide, new or 2nd hand. Outline criteria: 4 seats Good/acceptable in the snow. Decent(ish) mpg Decent sized boot Not ugly Fair running costs If lease around £250-300 per month If 2nd hand say £10-15k If 2nd hand decent residual value/wont lose too much value over say 2/3 yrs Saw this, am I crazy? http://www.autotrade...el/s4?logcode=p Thing is I know sweet FA about cars in general (I mean what's decent bang for buck) so totally stumped. Tooooo much choice. Got some cash in the business so would be cool to use it for something fun. Any thoughts, my only caveat is I dont want to spend too much at the end of the day I dont want to blow a load of cash just for the hell of it. Also with winter now upon us would like something of an all-rounder. Make sense??
  12. That is a truly epic machine! I had a few passenger laps in an atom, most people got out feeling sick, I've done a few sessions at Snetty on a fireblade and my bandit so I was used to the filling your pants sensation. I bet the other drivers were like, what the flurk is that!! Wow & wow.

    Polaroid Camera

Ok, so a bit different, used this at our wedding yesterday for guests to photo themselves. Polaroid, so a bit different. Cost £89, looking for £55 inc postage.
  15. Only if you're overly 'clicky' I did it for my bike test a few years ago. Not perfect but still shows your ability to assess problems.
