  1. another one bites the dust..! At least it only took me a month to find them Shocked this happens to so many people. - I think I miss mine being in, far too "wafty" with them out... or maybe because my springs have stretched?! who knows. I have an open case with them at the moment.

  4. +1 - get the car on full lock and look for this: Pic courtesy of Mattross' Z
  5. also looking into getting a dash cam fitted too - however not keen on fitting in myself as i'd want it hard wired. halfrauds fit for circa £30. . . what could possibly go wrong ? The halfrauds ones are easy to do, if you can locate your fuse board you can wire it in. The kit comes with a piggyback fuse adaptor, you take a fuse out that is linked to ignition on (i.e 12v socket), put the new bit in, and put the fuse you removed n the back of it. I'm a non skilled halfrauds manager and have fitted numerous without breaking anything.Taking a note of your mileage is worth doing, resetting trips etc. I know its resolved now but I'd opt to leave my car and trust them. He is a Halfrauds manager everyone! flame him. thanks Jay - how wrong can it go! .. i'll get one and wire it in myself then if its straightforward.
  6. putting the car into Valet mode is an interesting one... has anyone done this before when leaving your Z ?
  7. decision made - i'll be leaving the car with them! thanks gents ps. nobody likes my cat pic
  8. Thanks buddy, i may end up leaving the car there..
  9. Purely out of interest, what was the outcome of yours? The thread went a little quiet.. Regardless, i'll be using autoglass and i will be doing a video documenting the condition of my car in all the areas people have mentioned above before they commence work. after blood sweat and tears, and an email to all of their senior managers - they sent out a "specialist" to fixed all of the damage that was caused. It took at lot of time and complaining to get to that resolution....

  11. sends chills down my spine... i'd rather drive my Z without a windscreen than let those n00bs back near it. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/110615-opinion-needed-damage-to-my-z-when-changing-windscreen/

we need a bigger picture there buddy!!
  13. elo. Managed to scuff a wheel on the dangerously high curbs of Oxford. Keen to get a refurb booked in, however slightly hesitant to leave my car with them for 3 days. Option 1: could I take the wheel off and put the front of the car on a scissor jack for 3 days, or would I have to use an axle stand. Option 2: leave my car with them and hope they don't hoon it around. as after all, all hoomans are a constant disappointment?
  14. i REALLY need to get a dash cam fitted!

+1 Unless you prefer having the additional 1" lift on the front to avoid scraping... which I found out to my peril last week!

You can't put a price on a new car smell Dan! ** no response posts of £4.99 'new car smell' car air freshener allowed as it kills my point
  19. Mk1 aren't diamond cut. MK 2 are. 140 per wheel seems a little rich but not too OTT. Why not ask if they do all 3 for 300 and work your way from there
  20. mk1 or mk2 wheel? mk1 aren't diamond cut are they?
