  1. Well done chaps - if there was ever a deserving case for Christmas charity it was Grundy's engine Nice Zed Sled btw
  2. Always good to have a handy cat (or two) on hand to supervise. I have a front bumper skin in my lounge too (V2 replica behind a sofa), much to the wife's annoyance. Your Veilside all prepped up and ready to go - I suggest you don't try spraying paint in the house/lounge though - that really pi$$es them off (I tried that with my plenum when she was out )
  3. Finding Neo-mo.. Mine..mine..mine.. ..well one Neo is
  4. They are a pair of 350Zs.. whats with the 370 advertising? Is my iPad broken so that I only have 350Z youtube goggles on?
  5. Since you can run from the recovery partition (as you can boot into the 4 options above), that implies it is not entirely dead. My suggestion, assuming all else has failed, would be to find a friend with another mac, connect to it via thunderbolt cable, and boot yours into target disk mode. Assuming that works, you maybe able to copy off all your photos via your friends mac. You can then safely risk re-formatting your main partition and re-installing your mac via disk utility and re-install OSX (options 4 and 2 in your list).. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH19021?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
  6. Good start - I'm sure yours will be a good build thread.. we all like a nice build thread on here Your recent post on your Mx5 thread ..uh oh..
  7. Nope - I record on a spreadsheet all my petrol receipts, odo mileage travelled and fill brim to brim. I also put the data into my Garmin - it gives a slightly lower (~25 or 26) due to the odometer being a little optimistic. I don't bother with the DTE trip computer apart from outside temp, and I like the RPM change light feature (set to 5000 RPM). Realistically, on no-boost cruising (which is the bulk of my journey) there shouldn't be any difference as steady state power requirements won't have changed. She's efficient in closed loop still. It should only go silly MPG wise if I was blasting it up and down all the time (eg track) - which would not be sensible on road Nice to have the instant shove accelerating when I want to occasionaly open the taps though
  8. Yep, all good (well nearly). She is a bit spluttery for a few seconds when starting cold cold, but perfect when warm. Other than that, there are no problems - very rapid and sounds great I am still thinking of putting on my sensors, but CBA due to the cold/wet. Plus I don't really want to risk issues with firewall grommet seal over winter. Driving around as a daily is excellent, although she's a shouty bird and not subtle My fast commuting MPG is not half bad either - 27MPG !
  9. These are nice - I'm very pleased with mine Strong too (proven protection)
  10. Not yet. I've still got plenty of grip, so I'm waiting for proper cold before swapping then I'll have another go at tarting up the Rotas
  11. Well done in keeping your chin up. As I said in the other thread, it looks like a nice car - the Nismo stripes are great BTW You should eventually have plenty of win with a good fixed/replacement engine, and as you picked the car up for a bargain, not much harm's been done
  12. Kind of like a model with Ebola... Looks great... About to die...
  13. On the bright side, engine issues aside, it looks like a nice zed from the photo
  14. Parked nose up, mine does that - it's normal for my car. Not saying it's good, but that seems to be what happens. If you park nose down, or flat then it goes away. I have no problems with water getting in either
  15. A lot of cameras are good for fine video, but it's getting convincing sound that is hard. A good mic and dedicated recorder would be the way to go, but it's more to buy My bank account needs a lie down for a couple of months at least
