  1. Had the Porsche comment the other week when taking some stuff round to the the local recycling centre, although the poor guy (bless him) was adamant that is new 1.2D Corsa would be a be match, that was until his jaw dropped when I booted it out the car park. Nicest comment so far is the detailer I use on a regular basis saying he wants to the buy the car when I'm done with it and he's prepared to wait.
  2. Audi A6?? I had a 05 3.0TDi SE Quattro auto with paddles prior to the zed, not exactly sporty more waft around in an armchair kind of driving but plenty of grunt for motorways and general about town driving.
  3. good luck, hope it works out for you. Mine was a 1 owner example with just short of 16k on the clock and paid circa £14k back in April of last year, granted different market now so if it's a good one maybe £11.5k
  4. I believe it's the aircon, I get the same
  5. I enjoyed reading that, interesting comments.
  6. For Northern ireland i can recommend these guy's http://www.bandbautostyle.co.uk
  7. Around 4:15pm this afternoon, did wave but was heading west.
  8. Hey, not seen you about recently. Where you up to with your search for a zed?
  9. Have a Garmin Nuvi 2595 5" squeezed into the cubby with just enough room to get the power capable running from the power socket on the front dash. Will at some point remove the centre console to run the power wire in behind and wire it into the car, which has been done by others.
  10. maybe not in keeping with the economy drive but a bargain nonetheless, http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201226476828714/sort/default/usedcars/model/mazda6/make/mazda/onesearchad/used/keywords/mps/radius/100/postcode/ml41fg/page/1?logcode=p
  11. +1, Got myself a Rado three years ago, simple black face with no time marks, date, ceramic wrist band so very light. Simple, elegant, and will hopefully stand the test of time as never intend on spending that amount of money on a watch again - especially as Z related items now seem to demolish the disposable income
  12. The demos on the website are not the best of quality. We've been working on recording an album for the last 6-7 months now, progress is slow but finally getting to the vocals so hopefully we'll have something for release towards the end of the year. Lack of drummer has hindered progress but have been using Sonar X1 to program the drum tracks in with a certain amount of success but not quite the same.
  13. Jason, don't suppose you know any drummers in the Glasgow area that are looking to join a band? We've been looking for a new drummer for close on a year now and haven't had any luck. For an idea of the sort of stuff we play here's the link to our website, http://www.thetranquil.com/
  14. Reg plate ending AMT, white 350z heading towards Bellshill on Main Street this evening, waved but ignored, probably because walking the dog
  15. http://www.john-clark.co.uk/used-cars/search/7443/nissan-350z £11,995 for a MY08 313GT over in Edi, won't be surprised if you've seen it already
  16. Hey mate, wasn't sure if that was you behind me or not, was half hoping you were going to follow us up the hill, just to see how far you'd be left behind. Since adding the Berk HFCs the exhaust is sounding much better, and still grinning at the figures achieved with the remap given the limited modifications made.
  17. Alex Noble are in Edinburgh, not an indy as such but a Nissan HPC. Sure they are one of Zmanalex's recommendations for up this neck of the woods. This is my only suggestion as don't know of any others in the Edinburgh area
  18. Visited RS Tuning yesterday along with George (The G Man), bumping into Terry (bobmac) on arrival. Happy with the results, car feels more responsive now. Went with no expectations on gains but happy with the results, 331.2 HP @ flywheel (was running 318.1 HP prior to the remap) and ~295 Ftlb @ flywheel (was running ~285 Ftlb prior). Wheel horsepower result was 274.5 HP (was running 263.1 HP). Minor gains but as said happy with the end result. Some pics of the day are posted below. Have posted the dyno plots within the Garage.
  19. Model: 2007(57) VQ35HR Mods: Stillen Gen 3 Long Tube intake, Berk HFCs, custom true dual exhaust Dyno: Dyno-Dynamics @ RS Tuning BHP: 331.2 HP / @fly (274.5 HP @ wheels) Torque: ~ 290 ftlb
  20. Ouch! Glad your okay mate, hope they pull their finger out and catch the sod
  21. Maybe not a direct comparison, I switched from the RE040s to the PSS and found the road noise to be slightly less
  22. Never been a fan of Ferrari, wouldn't mind the Camaro though from the same dealer
  23. Parked up outside the Derby Inn pub, Main Street, Mossend
