Sounds to me like he is a bit of a plank and doesn't really know how the module works. Effectively there is a cradle there which normally houses a module which allows you to BT the car to your phone, more often than not they are sold without the car as people can get cira £80 for them. Get him to send you a photo of the compartment between the seats with the lid open, you will be able to see what he has in there.

I might do - lots of people were parping him, even cars on our side of the road. The ones in the opposite direction were obviously giving him some serious abuse.

Well, unbelievable really. I am still in utter shock. Queuing along a road which leads to a busy junction near Chiswick bridge (coming from Barnes direction if you know the area) and we are all stuck so we sit patiently, well most of us. Suddenly in my wing mirror I see a chap, on the otherside of the road, in his Merc just cruising along the wrong side or the road. He had his indicator on so thought he was just jumping out the queue to turn right - but no, he just drives at oncoming traffic passing me and driving straight at them, old fella, about 50, expressionless, just drives at these cars coming at him in the opposite direction. They end up mounting the kerb to get out of his way. After clearing all the traffic I can see him in the distance just pull back in at the front of the queue at the lights. I ended up catching him up towards the A4 and saw him nearly drive into two cyclists swerving violently out the way at the last moment. Thing is he wasnt speeding, just driving so badly it scared the hell out of me. An utter disaster just waiting to happen. So for the record, it was a shabby old Merc SL reg ROF 810, in the Chiswick Hammersmith area, if you come across him, dont play chicken with him you will lose your car maybe even more an utter liability and should have his licence taken away for good.

Good grief, maybe you can ask the dealer why they are saying that given that its not recommended elsewhere. I am sure sometimes these clowns are just making stuff up as they go along.

...right, hope this is ok mods - I got a load of little bits and pieces which I need out the cupboard but dont really have time to be posting it all out with a heavily pregnant wife wanting attention when I get home and my new job sucking the life out of me the rest of the time. So as there is a bunch of people going to the SE meet I thought I would offer it all up separately for people going to that so I can just hand it all over or if you are local to Windsor or Putney swing by and pick it up. Sorry not meant to annoy anyone just got too much on at the moment to sort all these little bits out. Lets see how it goes...anyway, here the stuff, a fiver an item Original 350z tail badge taken off my Z Unopened Autoglym products Blue Rays locking wheel nuts x20. Annoyingly have lost the damn key, although looking at it it might be a standard locking size you might or may already have a replacement? Anyway the option is there. There is a code on the nuts if you can get keys. SOLD Original Z wheel nuts x16, came with my Zed along with one set of the following locking nuts Locking wheel nuts 1 Locking wheel nuts 2 Carbon fiber nismo keyring (actual carbon fiber not a sticker) SOLD TO WASSO

Nifty little piece of kit, selling on since I got my uprev. Looking for £85 delivered I used some velcro sticky pads to secure it in place to the side of my steering wheel - you can see it here in this photo to the left of the steering wheel. I will chuck in some of the pads I have left over its the easiest way to secure it somewhere in the car. Also have digital copies of the calibration instructions, happy to email them over to you so you can calibrate it to your Zed. Anyway here is the little beast.
