  1. As above, I wouldn't bother too much looking at 0-60 times advertised on autotrader etc. and comparing across cars when you are talking tenths of a second. Sit there with a stop watch and try time 3/10ths of a second yourself and you will see how little time it is and imagine a car doing 60mph the difference is so minimal its just not worth buying one car over another simply because it on paper edges it by a couple of tenths. I would go out, drive both, and buy what grabs you - if you got in a 350z and couldnt stand the interior, the seats or the tape deck(!) would a couple of tenths of a second on paper matter that much compared to a 645Ci? Assuming you are not drag racing of course, if this is just for the road...
  2. Could have cleaned the car on arrival
  3. Four doors...
  4. Yes I did the Camp Nou tour, was very good. Oh and they were champions league holders at the time, had my photo taken with the cup, then lost the photo! (you have to buy it from an official photographer)
  5. Been to both, prefer Rome out of the two. Just felt more 'immense' if you know what I mean - it blew me away. Barcelona is a cool place too, but didnt quite blow me away in the same way Rome did. Mind you, Barcelona does have a beach! We were quite lucky in Rome, staying near the Vatican, got up one morning, wandered down there, went into the standing area and 30 mins later we were in touching distance of the Pope as he came by in the popemobile! All very surreal!
  6. I see a future Darwin winner here!
  7. Fair play to the lads in the tuk tuk seemed to be taking it in good humour!
  8. I have a hoover we bought from Argos, there is a sticker on top from the manufacturer that says if something goes wrong to contact them rather than going back to the seller...
  9. You gotta earn a silly name, they don't give them out willy-nilly! Actually though on topic, these signs where they highlight rule breaking are proven to work, more effectively, than things like speed cameras. People just slow for a speed camera then take off again as soon as they clear the lines in the road. These signs have a longitudinal effect in that they are literally telling all other road users that the driver of the car is speeding, you then find people adjust their speed down for a longer time after the sign compared to speed cameras. That said, what an utter waste of time putting this up if it actually lights up when the driver is doing nothing wrong. Defeats the whole purpose, and the fact that its potentially a decade away can't even see why this is a news story?
  10. It is genuine Nismo though, its got a chrome badge on the back to prove it!
  11. In not so quite man-love style terms, happy birthday Daz
  12. Just bear in mind that it might activate location services which does put a drain on your battery life. You should be able to tailor the amount of access via prefs within the App or via the settings menu on your phone.
  13. ...can't believe the Ferrari one of thirty seven ever made just sat in there...also is that a Ford Corina as well I spy!?

  15. Have a good one folks!
  16. I think Paycos looks utterly spot on, perfect consistent gap all around the tyre and arch - but then again its all subjective, I never liked the look of cars slammed down with the tops of the tyres disappearing under the arches.
  17. Teins all the way, less of a drop, but still look good and very good price. Pretty sure Tarmac just stuck up a post for them.
  18. Stubbies from redline styling on here (steve) I would think?
  19. Real carbon fibre is of course the best, because, well, its real. But you pay $$$$ for it. The hydrodipping I think looks pretty good as an option for a fraction of the cost and is a better option than leaving it as tatty and old looking. Piano black is wrong on so many levels for me, just makes the rest of the interior look dated (when its meant to be black) and is overly glossy which looks a bit tacky - it just doesnt sit properly with the matte look of the rest of the interior. Just my opinion though.
  20. Not sure of the business you work in, or the size, but you should be consulting HR as a first port of call. If you do not have a HR team usually there will be a HR call line you can use that the company will outsource that work to. Understand where you are in terms of that respect so you know your actual rights in the situation within your company. I would also then start to work towards a resolution, your boss has thrown down a spectacularly large gauntlet of stupidity (apologies if you get on, I just was utterly dumbfounded when reading your post) in effect saying 'you are going nowhere, never promoted, never moving' which will ultimately be counter productive to their goal to keep you in a role they believe is so important and irreplaceable. On that note, no disrespect to you, but no one is irreplaceable there will always be someone else that can do our jobs if we ever left and companies rarely collapse because one person leaves (maybe in the exception of a CEO type character that is part of the branding of the business). What your boss is saying clearly is nonsense. In short, it is in the best interest of you, your boss and the company you all work for to find a resolution that works for all, if you agree to give longer notice period for instance to allow for recruitment of your replacement and a handover period that would probably land quite well? If you have already tried that and failed, then I suggest another company with a more employee focused policy set is the way to go!
  21. Still more photo skills needed grunders! Google rule of thirds and take it from there
  22. Write a really good ad - provide a you tube link to a video of the car (did this with the VX I sold) - lots of really good clear pictures no arty nonsense and stick it on eBay. Sold my Zed, VX and Skyline all via eBay, Zed took longest to sell at 3 weeks. All sold at very good prices.
  23. 04 car with a 36k engine, got to be worth £6k I would have thought (not that i have looked at prices lately) - so given that you paid circa £5k for it in the first place you are probably not as out of pocket as you might think, although you have spent over your budget overall compared to what you thought you would be paying. But now you have a very nice car. Remember to keep a good build thread and evidence of the engine replacement should you ever come to sale time :-)
  24. Well done mate, awesome attrition in sticking with it!
