  1. Looks like it was actually the air force, with some armoured units. Bizarre that they felt there was something to be gained with such little support.
  2. Such a shame, went to Antalya for our honeymoon and still rate it as one of the best destinations ever. World is slowly destroying itself with stupidity and ignorance.
  3. Shocking to see this morning, equally bizarre to open the BBC app on my phone and find a member of the public caught up in it all speaking to the BBC about it, its a friend of mine from when I lived in France! Had to drop him a message straight after. Sick though, clearly no place for religion in something like that, no god or imaginary being or whatever would want that.
  4. Boris as foreign secretary? I really truly believe this country is going mad. I don't care if you are blue, red, yellow or any other affiliate of politics - this last month or so has been an utter shambles and laughing stock of the world. Even the world press has stopped ribbing Trump because there is much more hilarity in the UK right now.
  5. I would tend to challenge the assumption on the England job, a few managers have gladly turned it down in the past! FA will never offer a 1 year contract, makes no sense given the tournament nature of the job. Del Bosque and Pelligrini kicking around. I just don't want to see the FA make another manager choice 'because they are english' - McLaren got the job on that premise and was truly awful.
  6. They usually get contracts that cover tournaments, so it wont be a 1 year contract when he has a nice juicy contract at Sunderland he would have to give up. I think the FA are missing a trick and going down the exact same route as the Hodgson appointment. So many very good foreign managers out there that would be more likely to succeed than people like Sam.
  7. Problem is that SA will get a 3 year contract on £5m a year and to get shot of him costs the FA £10m this time next year. As a West Ham fan Sam can 'do a job' but he is really not the dynamic manager the country needs right now, more of the same really compared to Hodgson I would think. Expect organisation in defence but a dull reliance on defensive players and name players. He never really had a plan b when at West Ham when we went down against a team, we usually would go on to lose.
  8. Big Sam for manager anyone?
  9. Was on the M5 last weekend before the Renault kaput, outside lane certainly wasn't clear for 2 hours to be chucking along at 100mph minimum!
  10. If she thinks the car was at fault for her accident then it shows she isn't fit to be behind the wheel. A good driver knows the limits of their car, a bad and reckless driver exceeds them. Unfortunately there are many people of that age who think they are gods gift to driving and are indestructible, they only generally find out too late they are generally wrong.
  11. We were covered on our bank gold account too...but only for breakdown assistance, presume you got Relay on yours?
  12. Unfortunately it is people like her that will run a very high risk of killing/injuring herself or others as clearly the first incident you described has not made her learn from her mistakes. Right call informing her family, this sort of thing is not on.
  13. Probably an over exaggerated (and moronic) boast as Dan said I would like to see somewhere in the UK how you can average over 100mph for 2 hours without being sat on a dyno. Simply drop this link onto her webpage...this is what an 80mph crash can look like http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36761849
  14. Yes the NSX in the wet Looking forwards to the other show now, two car shows all year round is no bad thing!
  15. It took a while, but you got there in the end...
  16. In the absence of anyone closely credible..?
  17. Be aware, speak to Tom Boreham first...he has had the same thing happen and has run through various scenarios!
  18. Yes I totally agree, is was mind numbing to the point of tears. I love football, play twice a week and watch when I can, but to watch the game butchered like it was over the last couple of weeks was soul destroying. The final for me summed up the tournament, boredom, no attacking flair, no enterprise or desire to win a game just not to lose it.
  19. Its not the loudest, I would say a notch or two above stock, but paired with HFCs or decats is a stunning sound. Difficult to gauge with videos as they never capture the true sound and reverberation of the exhaust. So many times over the last few years on here have I seen people looking for used exhausts going around the £500 mark, this is a steal at this price in this condition.
  20. Aye shocking looking pitch, lips of the cars just clearing the front!
  21. Pretty sure some photoshop gurus on here could take a photo you have and put different colours on the car such as GM and Silver etc.
  22. Thanks guys, AA is £195 but you get a £50 fuel voucher, so would need some haggling come renewal time I would imagine to get it down to comparable ongoing levels of the others.
  23. After the wife's Megane gave up at the weekend (gear linkage snapped) in the middle of nowhere 160 miles from home, have decided to get some family breakdown cover. I had some for myself with the AA for the Scotland trip but she only had breakdown assistance, of course it ended up being a pricey recovery for her when the AA guy said he didn't have a spare Megane gear linkage kit in the van... ...so investigating the costs of getting a dual/family cover for myself and her. The three big hitters are Green Flag, AA and RAC all coming in at around £150 a year for us both with onward journey cover, homestart, recovery etc. So anyone have views on which of the three are best? A look online pops up a few unknowns like GEM, any views on these up-starts? Cheers in advance as always
  24. Good deal that, in great nick and bronze looks great on black!
