  1. Ironically the mp count is a complete red herring - when you go beyond 12mp you only really need it for when you are planning on say printing to large canvasses etc. Its like hyper cars competing for the top speed number when they all accelerate at the same rate up to 200mph The biggest advance in phone cameras has been the introduction of multiple lenses and much smarter software to replicate things like focal length
  2. To be honest your average phone user uses about 10% of the available tech on modern smart phones. All this banter about tech wars Apple this and Android that but 99% of the time all we do is use it to take thousands of bang average photos, surf the web, check messages, the occasional call, a few apps and to check the time.
  3. To think, someone has actually spent their own money making that utter pile of crap pahahahahaha
  4. Yep London one is coming shortly too, everyone is selling up the cars that don't pass on the cheap. The whole thing is a blunt edged typical crap political effort anyway, I think we have all seen how incompetent politicians are in terms of solving bigger issues.
  5. Plenty of reputable indies in one persons eyes are rip off merchants in another’s. Servicing is basic and in fact something anyone that can turn a spanner should be able to do themselves, if you want the car properly looked at that’s another discussion altogether
  6. I have had a fair few marques of car and every time I join an owners group I hear the same comments about 'these cars need experts to look after them' which to a degree is right, in that every car has its little quirks that you only really know about if you look at them regularly - but do bear in mind we are talking about a service here, its about the most basic bit of mechanicking that can be done on a car. Don't get me wrong, I hear muppets that dont put spark plugs back in, wrong oil and all that but to think that a service history from X means a better car than service history of Y doesn't make sense in my mind, its a money spinner really as its bread and butter work thats done with over priced parts in many cases.
  7. Quite a lot of advisors are now testing positive, linked to a recent meeting where social distancing wasn’t adhered to nor masks (but accept you can’t have a sensible meeting with them on)
  8. Given that he has just spent the previous week saying that Joe had been wasting his time with wearing masks, and has had smaller rallies due to social distancing and that the disease is pretty much on the run - I cannot imagine that then pretending to catch it would land him a positive outcome!
  9. I have an XS which will be at the end of its 2 year contract soon, will be sticking with it and go SIM only for as long as I can make it last, it really is a brilliant piece of kit and can imagine its a fair bit cheaper now.
  10. To be honest the power figures are quoted all over the internet incorrectly. Price guide is a bit optimistic but otherwise a decent enough very high level write up with the odd nugget, hardly a buyers guide, but worth a look!
  11. Depends on your start point, but with a miltek, sports cats, spacer, stillen intake I got +16bhp pre to post remap. But in effect its pointless as you wont notice that day to day, the big improvement was area under the line and the removal of flat spots, that was definitely noticeable. If you search there is a huge thread on here of people posting remap numbers and mods with them.
  12. And we all go on to the YT video and tell them what a pile of tat they have built in the comments for all to see lol
  13. In answer to the question, no. Look at some of the media on here over the years and see some proper work done rather than just a body kit paint job some suspension and a cheap eBay exhaust. Appreciate it’s subjective though
  14. If you go 2 door make sure you are decently flexible to be able to sit in the rear footwell propped up against the back of the front seat. I managed it ok in my R33 but that was when the little chavy was 1 year old and could be picked up no problem! Have to say 4 doors is a godsend.
  15. I bought a set of fully refurbed diamond cut 2 piece Volks GTVs off here back in 2010 for £1k they were super light and pretty awesome.
  16. I would suggest that they are rare here because you can buy more locally produced wheels of similar or better quality for less money? Good luck if you do sell though.
  17. I would be more concerned about the cost of problems on an M4 than an R34 to be honest!
  18. R33/R32 GTR. When you come to sell it in a few years you will make a tidy profit!
  19. Zippy +1 tends to all my wrapping needs! @zippypooz Do bear in mind it’s not as easy as it looks and a bad wrap will result in it peeling away all over the car in a few months. If you find my VX220 project thread he recently did the screen surround, just that part done correctly with cleaning, prep, cutting, fitting and curing took best part of 3 hours, in terms of your question I believe he uses Avery vinyl.
  20. How have we not had a “best looking tyre” thread on here yet?
  21. We hit a couple of roads in Wales like this, seeing us four crawling along at 10mph was funny

    w brace

Try google it - or just buy something new it’s not a bank breaker
  23. TMS used to do a lot of VX220 stuff, not so much any more from what I understand. Yes the shaker plates look like they are going to pull the wheels and tyres off the car! My dad always reassures me that they get it a lot worse on the road and not to worry!
