  1. I like midnight purple, but yeah the green looks good too
  2. Has the bumper deformed around the light, any damage underneath? You should get it checked out by a body shop mate as it could end up running into the £thousands and the guy may get funny when it comes to handing over the cash.
  3. I would drive all the cars people have listed on here with exception to the celica as I'm not that keen on the styling. S2k would be an investment i reckon as prices seem to be increasing fr good ones now
  4. I'm not using the zed for its intended purpose any more and it seems a waste to spend £515 on tax, extra on premium fuel and tyres and services to go to the supermarket in lol. Its also not that practical with its big doors and smallish load space. That's why I was thinking along the hot hatch lines initially. There's a lot of cars I would like at that price point just spoilt for choice really. Missus is now saying she wants something we can both drive and potentially have as a family car so I may just keep the zed for another year now.
  5. I'm after ideas of what to replace my Zed with. I bought my first house last year and the cost of Zed ownership is starting to lose its appeal, would rather spend that money elsewhere... So the question is what would you buy if you had £8k ish to spend? I want it to be less tax / fuel costs but still be semi enjoyable to drive / look good. Reliability has to be fairly good too as I wont save anything otherwise. I know I'll have to compromise somewhere but not too sure where. Just want it to be fairly fun and cheap-ish. Been thinking of Clio Cup, Abarth 500, Civic type R, MX5. Opinions of these and any other ideas welcome. Would like a gt86 but they're around £12k still.
  6. You could as long as you don't touch the yellow lines, i think you'd struggle though. Looks a little small!
  7. Mine went down last year actually. It was £515 then went to £505. Its back as £515 this year again though It is annoying though how low emissions cars pay hardly anything even though they use the road just as much
  8. Just out of interest how do you know they weren't working or screwing the system? Some people have a cane as they are injured or whatever, are Romanians not allowed coffee on a sunday lol?
  9. Looks like a lot of work! Mine is in a similar shape as a daily driver; it's mechanically sound but has a few scrapes and dings here and there. I'd be interested to know how much this costs?
  10. Geez! That must be like 2000hp per ton? Sounds like too much for me lol
  11. I'll still be watching on Amazon too, but two car shows have to be better than one?
  12. I think Chris Evans is fairly entertaining and while Chris Harris is a bit boring he can certainly drive. Got a good feeling about Matt though, I think he will a bit of a laugh. I'll give it a go and see what its like, you know the cars and the cinematography will be spot on though
  13. Go Karting is cheap and fun and probably closer racing than you'll have in a car
  14. Also worth noting that not all rev ups have the oil burning issue, luckily mine doesn't as I didn't know about it when I bought it.
  15. I believe its to do with the different grip levels front to back that makes the traction control think the car is going to spin when it isn't really. You could probably get away with mixing tyres if the grip levels are similar
  16. Hi and welcome. I'd go for a new complete set of tyres personally as I said to someone earlier, you can get traction control kicking in randomly with different tread patterns. If cash is tight try and get a part worn set to match the rears maybe. At least the weather is good at the mo so probably wont catch you out.
  17. I would say this is definitely mixed tyres! My zed when i bought it had toyo proxies on the front and Eagle f1s on the back and used to come on all the time under all sorts of cornering. When i changed to MPSS all round i never had it again.
  18. I'd probably drive a leaf if it looked like a zed to be honest. Tesla's look good but cost a small fortune, not sure why car companies think its a good idea to make their electric cars look like they're from a low budget scy-fy?
  19. We always called them the 'Female Touring Option' Never drove one but thought they looked quite good, don't see many around these days.
  20. Mines been my daily for 4.5 years and never missed a beat. Only 10 mins from work so it doesn't get driven hard on the commute. I like to give it a run at the weekends though
  21. It's a peev of mine too. Also the we COD infinite ware fare comes bundled with modern warfare remastered for ~£90!!! So those that really enjoyed that game have to shell out on another that they aren't really interested in (me included) and would be willing to buy the game as a stand alone at a reasonable price! I would imagine it'll come out as a standalone DLC after a few months as most COD stuff does. It'll probably be a case of rose tinted specs too, as good as it was it's still 9 years old.
  22. I like the E class, the others are a bit junior rep mobile for me. New TT looks good but I hav'nt driven one so cant say how good it'll be.
  23. I believe the squeal is usually the pad wear indicator. Its a small bit of metal that should be clear of the disk when the pads have lots of meat on them. can you see that?
  24. That's an unbelievable price for an HR z. Well done! The dealer must have thought it was a DE or something...

it will be hard to sell on again when you're done so consider how long you will own it for and how much you're prepared to lose on it.
