Its really not that bad if someone hits you. I also had a crash but there was no damage and no claim put in so I may be different to you. Do you have protected no claims?

I've got them and they're fine. Stopped my banana arm from making a noise so a thumbs up from me. Just more expensive than rubber ones which is the only downside.

Thanks for all the advice. She works for an accountant but only does admin related duties. She's been working there for 4 and a bit years and is getting a modest rise. It seems like they've only applied this to her as they think she'll leave in the near future, even though she might not. Looking at other people in similar situations I don't think its too much of a problem to have. At least she's not being made redundant. If she decides to go they might not want someone who's not fully dedicated hanging around for 2 months anyway.

My girlfriend and I are in the middle of buying a house together and she is in the middle of accepting a new role at work. I think her bosses have cottoned on to the fact that as were moving a little further away that she might want to find a new job sometime in the future. She has been offered her new contract and her notice period has been extended from 4 to 8 weeks. As she not a manager or senior staff I think this is a little excessive as no potential future employer would probably want to wait 8 weeks for her to start a new job. It seems like they are trying to trap her essentially. Has anyone on here had to negotiate their contract terms before or have any advice on dealing with this?

Prices always seem to be stronger in the summer, if you are still saving then hopefully you'll find a decent one before winter. That said good condition HR cars will probably be hard to get for 8k, you may need a little more..

I have a midnight blue 370 based in Frensham. We will have to have a Farnham Meet. Good idea! There's a nice looking 350z blue just round the corner from me on Burnt Hill Rd too. That'll be me! I dont often see many friendly Zeds round farnham myself. Good to know theres a few around

Have many of you on here got one? I had a look at them in the apple store the other day and am now tempted but im just wondering if they stay interesting a month or so after purchase?

+1 on the revival being better. It's nice to see the new cars but the FOS is just a show really where as the revival has properly exciting circuit racing and an amazing atmosphere. I used to be a member and it's worth it just to eat/drink in the members tent at the FOS/Revival. Didn't really use the other perks particularly. Cancelled now as I went for quite a few years in a row and the magic wears off after a while. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Has anyone got a spare one they don't need or do any traders sell them? I've cracked mine and want to replace it. I know a lot of people don't like them but I prefer the way it looks with it on.

My battery went flat after I left my car for 5 weeks while I was on holiday. Had to replace the battery as it wouldn't hold a charge anymore but the AA guy should be able to check for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The previous owner might not be able to afford to run it for various reasons. Perhaps they lost their job or are having a baby etc. doesn't necessarily mean it hasn't been looked after before now. Like others have said look for quality of parts/ service history and that will give you a clue of how it's been looked after. Well I had it towed to my local garage in the end. The battery was completely dead and the butterfly on the throttle body had seized up. That's why I couldn't start it with jump leads. I guess the moral of the story is to get someone to run your car for you if your leaving the country for a month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
