  1. Hi all, I hope somebody can help I have a few genuine Nissan NISMO stickers in black with the red 'o'. Seeing as my car has the genuine factory fitted NISMO N1 bodykit, I've always been tempted to apply a NISMO sticker on the right side of the bonnet EXACTLY the same position as the factory NISMOs and one on the rear bootlid. Unfortunately I can't for the life of me find help anywhere showing the exact position the sticker should be applied on the bonnet and bootlid to make it as close to a factory look as possible. Would any fellow members be able to source any information on this or provide me with close up high resolution photos to help me apply these stickers? Any help would be greatly appreciated Many Thanks, Hassan
  2. The PDF don't work? Anybody got access to a working one?
  3. Did they get through a MOT OK..? Yes mate it flew through MOT testing. I got my MOT done at CS. I remember Andy leaving my Zed running for a bit prior to testing, I'm assuming it's because the warmer the engine becomes, the lower the emissions it will release, just to ensure it passes the MOT.
  4. I used to have them on my previous Zed. Sounded nice!
  5. I had the battery on one of my key fobs changed and lost the programming. The key fob was not working anymore. I successfully programmed my key fob myself and I had to reprogram both sets of keys as the programming procedure removes all paired keys with the car. I can't believe Nissan are charging £70 for a 5 minute programming procedure! I will attach the document showing the tree diagram of how to programme keys with the Zed as soon as I've found it. It was a fairly simple procedure seeing as I'm normally useless at attempting things like this!
  6. I am looking for an engine undertray/splash guard. Do you have one available? Many thanks

    Which Stubby?

I nabbed mine off my written off EP3 Civic Type R. Took lots of parts of it before it got collected. At the time I wasn't planning on returning to the 350 but I kept the stubby aerial anyway. After I purchased my Zed and got home I had a brainwave and thought let's try and see if the aerial will fit (in my head I thought there will be no chance!). To my surprise the stubby fits perfectly! No gap at all! Even my S2K stubby on my previous Zed had a tiny gap so I was really impressed!
  8. I'm another Zed owner who'll be floating around. Sunset 350z
  9. I have these fitted to my Zed. The stance looks so good with these Tein lowering springs fitted along with Eibach wheel spacers, but boy does it love catching nearly everything in it's way! Totally worth having these springs fitted though if you're careful going over humps etc!
  10. Wow I'm overwhelmed by the kind welcome back messages I've received! That's why I love this forum! I have taken some photos, just need to upload them. I am currently at work, hopefully I'll have them done after I finish work at 7am. The car has had the following modifications carried out: - Factory fitted NISMO kit. Is it V1? - 30mm/20mm Eibach spacers - Motordyne Plenum spacer - Custom exhaust - Whiteline Adjustable Droplinks - Lowered on Tein springs (30mm I think) - Light smoke tinted windows - Stubby aerial off my Civic Type R I think that's everything!
  11. Hello all, Some of you may remember me and some of you won't. I was a regular contributor on this forum over 2 years ago when I had a lovely gunmetal 350z GT with Alezan leather. Unfortunately that ownership was prematurely cut short due to it being badly damaged as a result of a freak hailstorm we experienced in Burbage, Hinckley. Since selling the Zed, I owned a few cars which included a BMW 645CI M sport convertible, an EP3 Honda Civic Type R, an Audi TT 225 BHP Coupe and a Ford Focus 1.8i TDCi. Every car I owned since the Zed, I just could not find the joy and satisfaction I found in the Zed. As a result I have now purchased a genuine Nismo kitted 350z GT in sunset orange with Alezan leather interior. I will be posting up photos when I have a few minutes to upload them onto Photobucket. I still regret selling my old Zed as that one was absolutely immaculate, even better example than my current one! I guess we all make mistakes... You will again be seeing me regularly on this forum and I look forward to contributing and exchanging banter with fellow forum members! Being a member of various other forums I have realised how much better the atmosphere is on this forum! 12. Hi all, I have been following this thread for a number of months now - very interesting! I myself have a Carrera Kraken which I use for frequent local travelling - Saves me pulling out the BMW 6 series. I am now planning on upgrading my bike. Looking at reviews across the internet, I have noticed a lot of enthusiast say the Boardman bikes are one of the best value for money. You get the same spec on a £1000 Boardman as you would do on another higher priced bike. I am considering the following: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_777785_langId_-1_categoryId_165499 At the moment they have 15% off, so the price is £849.99. On top of that they are offering an additional £40 off until midnight today which will bring the price down to £809.99. Then I am planning on registering for the British Cycling Association especially to benefit from the 10% off all items at Halfords offer. This will bring the bike down to £730. If I purchase it through Quidco, I will receive a cashback of 4.5%, which will reduce the price by a further £33. The price of the bike after all the discounts have been applied will be £697. From the original price of £999.99 reduced to £697, is this worth it? Do any of you have any other bike suggestions? Seeing as you clearly have more knowledge than me, I thought it's best to ask for your valuable advice. What are the weak links for this Boardman MTB Pro? Anything to look out for? Would you advise me to purchase a hard tail or a full suspension bike? I do mostly road riding but may take it on trails every now again. The thing is, Leicester don't have many trails! Thank you for your help in advance! Hassan

  14. Hello all, Just wondering if somebody can help... I just purchased a second hand Carrera Kraken MTB to travel to and from the gym. It's exactly the same as the one in the following review: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/bikes/mountain/product/review-carrera-kraken-07-20130 Firstly, is this a good bike? I don't know much about bikes any more, it's been years since I last owned one! I plan on giving the chain a good clean and re-lubing it. Can anyone recommend which lube I should purchase? Also, I would really appreciate some advice on the best method in cleaning the chain and re-lubing it. I just purchased the following lock: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005YPK8G2/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 Is this a good lock and will the cable (4ft) be long enough to secure both my quick release wheels? Your help is very much appreciated :-) As you can see I have no knowledge on bikes!! Hassan
  15. Thank you! By the way I didn't even notice the lightning bolt at 1:27, thank you for pointing that out to me!!
  16. These are photos of my Zed and colleague's cars. There were a few smashed windscreens which I did not have a chance to photo. The actual damage is very difficult to see on the photos due to poor quality photos and a lot of reflection on the bodywork. You will get an idea of the damage though.
  17. I knew it would make you laugh!!! I am uploading damage photos whilst I'm typing this. The only thing is, my camera was not capable of capturing the damage properly due to the reflection of the bodywork. I will see what I can do.
  18. Hello all, I have promised a few of you I will upload the video I recorded when my Zed sustained £5,500 worth of damage by the hail storm we experienced in Burbage/Hinckley, Leicester. I was at work at the time, when the air started to feel very humid and the sky went really dark. I decided to go outside to have a look at the sky when I noticed a odd-looking cloud. I decided to take a photo of it which is below. It then started thundering and lightning - not like what we normally see in the UK. It was more like a tropical storm. I decided to take a video of this as it wasn't normal. As soon as I started recording, the hail just began to fall. I captured the whole storm on video. Within 8 minutes, all the surrounding roads were flooded, even Arctic lorries were struggling to drive through! I suggest you mute the sound, I don't think you want to hear my extremely excited voice - VERY EMBARRASSING! Enjoy... Photos of damage to my Zed has been posted later on in this thread. Photo taken by a pilot flying over the storm Photo taken by a friend from her bedroom window
