  6. Hello all, My car is now being advertised for sale and I have a few items that have been removed off it which are listed below. I will keep this short and sweet I have taken multiple photos of each item, however I don't want to clutter up this thread so I will post one or two photos for each item and if more are required I will post further photos upon request. ALL ITEM PRICES ARE EXCLUDING DELIVERY COST. I prefer collection from Leicester (LE5) but will consider postage if there's genuine interest. Postage cost will be negotiated. Any questions, please feel free to ask! You can also contact me via telephone, text or WhatsApp on 07894555829. 1. Hardly used, immaculate condition genuine OEM facelift 350z rear LED light units. These were purchased brand new around 1.5/2 years ago and have covered a total of 1.5k to 2k miles. These lights are virtually in brand new condition and have hardly been run. These were purchased brand new from Clark Motorsport who operate on this forum. These will simply plug and play on all UK 350z's facelift and pre-facelift £220 (SOLD) https://www.dropbox....182657.jpg?dl=0 2. Z-speed Undertray/Undershroud for 350z in aluminium Silver. This was purchased brand new and still has the plastic covering on it to protect it from damage, the main section has only been test fitted. I never actually got round to fitting it due to being so busy over the last year. There's a pack of fixings in a bag, I'm not 100% sure if all fixings are present, some trim clips may be required. £120 (SOLD) https://www.dropbox....181652.jpg?dl=0 3. D1 spec Throttle Controller. Been used on my car for around 1.5 to 2 years, works perfectly. This item needs no explanation! £70 (SOLD) https://www.dropbox....182213.jpg?dl=0 4. Genuine Nissan 350z Bluetooth Dongle. £30 (SOLD) https://www.dropbox....182052.jpg?dl=0 5. Genuine (I believe) 350z Cargo Net. £15 (SOLD) https://www.dropbox....183042.jpg?dl=0 6. Genuine Nissan 350z Tonneau Cover in good condition. I believe some of the fixings are missing but I zip tied it to the loops under the strut brace and it didn't move, fall out or rattle in 2 years I had it fitted in the car. £40 (SOLD) https://www.dropbox....182000.jpg?dl=0 7. NISMO Style Seat Belt Buckle Pads. £10 (SOLD) https://www.dropbox....215115.jpg?dl=0 8. The Stillen CAI / Induction Kit is now for sale, it was removed off the car today. Still looking immaculate and the filter top still has a mirror shine. I only did around 2.5k miles with it fitted to the car so its looking clean. Although it's always good to give any filter a clean prior to fitting just to keep on top of it. £120 I loved the noise this kit made, added an extra dimension to the engine noise. Photos are below: https://www.dropbox....193726.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox....193747.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox....193758.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox....193808.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox....193835.jpg?dl=0 Many Thanks for looking! Hassan
  7. I'm currently removing my throttle controller and couldn't remember if you need to just pull out the white connector connected in to the throttle pedal module or use a screwdriver to push the tab on the connector before pulling it out? Thanks for your help guys Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    Bad cat??

Sorry mate, I just confirmed the exact message I got when I replaced my camshaft position sensor. It was 'P0420 - CATALYST SYSTEM EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD - BANK 1'. KyleR is correct, that is relating to the actual o2 sensor on the catalytic converter itself (which ironically is an error I came across on my previous Zed I had in 2012). This was due to fitting High Flow Catalytic Converters (HFCs). I fitted o2 sensor spacers which ZMANALEX sold at the time. It's as simple as unscrewing the sensor and screwing it onto the copper spacer than screwing the copper spacer onto the catalytic converter. This results in the sensor being further away from the cat thus resulting in the o2 sensor reading lower emissions readings which will hopefully resolve the dashboard warning light issue. You'll need to however clear the code using an OBDII reader. Bank 2 sensor is the passenger side/nearside. Just to clarify you will probably get away with just fitting a copper o2 sensor spacer, it should resolve the issue. Have a thorough look at it, if it hasn't rusted into bits and there are any obvious holes, causing air leaks you should be fine. It's not a problem if the heat shield itself corrodes and falls away. If the problem still persists, you will probably need to replace that o2 sensor. As far as I remember they're not cheap!

    Bad cat??

I actually posted a thread on this forum when I replaced it but can't seem to locate it!

    Bad cat??

I had the exact same issue, replaced it with a used one and reset the code using the OBDII Reader, never returned since. The sensor I replaced was on the driver's side behind the engine block (I believe its Bank 2?). If you changed the nearside/passenger side you may want to look at replacing the drivers side one.
  11. Makes me cry seeing them sat on those stones!!
  12. I got mine from SGS Engineering. Have done a great job so far!
  13. Thank you so much for taking the time out to reply, I only just read your message. I don't know why but I'm not receiving any notifications when receiving responses on threads even though I have registered to receive notifications (follow thread)? After a lot of swearing and sore/numb fingers, the sensor finally freed itself. I pushed the clip using a screwdriver which made the slider go all the way resulting in that small gap disappearing. Once the slider was stuck in that position I yanked the sensor and it came out. Fitting the new sensor on and fitting it back onto the engine block was a doddle. Once that was done I reconnected the negative terminal back onto the battery and used my £10 eBay OBDII code reader and cleared the codes. The car is now working perfectly! It's so satisfying rectifying an issue yourself! Thanks to everyone who contributed, I really appreciate it! Hassan
  14. Hi all, I was wondering if somebody could help. My sister currently lives in Bristol and owns a convertible Mazda MX-5. She has been in London for a few weeks due to her husband having an op and she left the car at her home address I'm Bristol. The roof has been leaking all that time which has resulted in the inside of the roof and interior getting damp and mouldy. I was wondering if any of you know a well-priced mobile valet company that can sort this out? Once it's been sorted we can then identify the exact cause and origin of the leak. I appreciate all your input and look forward to your responses. Hassan
  15. I have got the sensor out of the engine and the sensor is currently connected to the connecter on the loom with the slider on it. I push the slider down so it clicks but there is still a gap present in the slider hole /slot. I have tried everything but it does not budge! I'm currently outside swearing my head off but it's not helping! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
  16. Hi all just thought I would update you. Thank you all for your informative responses, it is very much appreciated! I received my OBDII scanner a few days ago and just got the chance to read the codes. The screen reads the following: 'P0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit bank 1 or Single Sensor'. From the research I have carried out, I believe this is the green connector behind the engine on the driver's side (Bank 1)? After viewing a YouTube video on replacing this sensor on a G35 (same engine), it seems as though you just remove the engine cover (plastics) then remove the vacuum line using a 10mm socket at the rear of the engine. Once that's off apparently the green connector should be visible which you can then use a 10mm spanner to remove. Is there anyone on here that's replaced this sensor themselves that could confirm this is the correct method? Is there anything I should be careful of or look out for? Are there any risks involved with doing it myself? I was told I'd have to get underneath the car to replace this sensor but the YouTuber demonstrated otherwise? Will I need to purchase some oil as I was warned I may lose some? The link to the YouTube video I watched is below: Many Thanks for your help guys!
  17. Thank you all for your responses, much appreciated. I highly doubt it's a battery failure as it's a fairly new battery but I will get it checked. So I'm assuming the mostly likely cause is the camshaft position sensor failure. How much would I be looking at to get this sorted? I'm trying to find someone within the Leicester area with a OBD II reader to get the codes read. I am pretty useless at the pedal dance method! I just hope this isn't a big or costly job!
  18. Hi all, I was driving (2004 350z UK GT) yesterday morning in a non-spirited manner and parked up to go to the Post Office. The journey was about 5 minutes tops from my home. I got back to the car 15 minutes later and went to turn her over, I noticed the car struggled to start (you could hear it cranking much longer than usual until it fired up, although it did fire up upon the first attempt). This was really odd but I thought maybe it was a one-off occurrence and drove back home as usual. Later that day I started her up and it fired up normally. Around 10 minutes into the journey, all of a sudden the EML light (yellow emissions), traction control light and skid light activated which really panicked me. I pulled over on the side of the road and switched off the engine and fired her up again. The skid light and traction control lights disappeared but the EML/emissions light remained lit. I continued on my journey and was now around 20 minutes into the drive when I felt something odd and all 3 lights lit up again. I drove the car slowly in case it was a major problem and didn't want to cause any damage to the engine. I left the car in the car park for around 3 hours and returned to it. when I turned her over, the car struggled to start again although it did start the first time as happened previously. I'm not sure if I'm imagining this, but I feel as though the car does sound different? Currently I have no access to an OBD II reader and wanted to know whether any of you would have any idea what this issue could be? I just want to put my mind at rest until I can get hold of someone who can read the fault codes for me. I'm not sure if this helps but the battery was recently changed (last year) but the car has hardly been used lately. I appreciate all your help guys, I just hope this won't be a major issue! Kind Regards, Hassan
  19. Hi mate. I'm driving about in Leicester. Just had a problem with the car so just came home. Come to mine of you're about?
  20. Wow thought someone had stolen my Zed for a second haha!
  21. I have an annoying rattle on top of the dash, the horizontal / long vent running along top of dash right next to the windscreen. If I touch it, it disappears. Any thoughts?
