  1. Us Leicester man's are gangster blad
  2. Road tax is now non-transferable since the law changes which came into effect from the beginning of this month (1st October 2014). I'd advise you not to re-tax the car if it's solely for selling purposes
  3. I have a Zed on my drive and a scaled down Zed (AutoArt) as a keyring. Does that count? HAHA!
  4. Humpy, show me some photos of your Zed, I want to see all the mods you've done to it! You've done loadssss whilst I've been away!
  5. Can't wait to see the photos matey! Once you've done the alignment, the Zed will feel so much better! Mine was out of OE specifications too and the Zed didn't feel right when going around bends and even going in a straight line etc. I decided to get the alignment done as I had just purchased the Zed with the Teins and Eibach spacers already fitted and realised how out the alignment it was when the technician showed me the printout. This was because of the springs and spacers! Luckily with the Teins, all the camber and toe adjustments allow enough adjustment to bring everything back into specification as the Tein springs are not stupidly low. This saved me a fortune as I didn't have to purchase the adjustable camber arm kit and extended toe adjustment bolts! One thing I would consider though is to purchase Adjustable Whiteline Droplinks, as your current Droplinks will wear out much quicker due to excessive wear from the car being lowered. I would wait until your current Droplinks fail (become noisy) before considering upgrading.
  6. Forgot to post some photos! Here you go:
  7. The purple one is probably the best Zed I've ever seen!
  8. That's because the exhaust is out of stock so they price the item extremely high so no one purchases it and revert the listing back to normal price once it's back in stock. They do this to save on expenses relisting the item I wonder if any super rich ricer would buy them at that price? HAHA! If I was them, I would personally go to the manufacturer in Japan and collect it to speed up the process and still make a profit! :lol

  10. No worries, I often do the same thing The way I think about these types of thing is if it does the job well, it's a quality piece of kit and will benefit you then buy it. It should last you years so is a relatively low outlay for what it provides you with. That said I'd try and find a local supplier so you can make an informed decision on the above points. You may also find you get a similar price as off the Internet while at the same time supporting hopefully a local independent specialist You have a point. My primary form of transport travelling to work is now going to be by bicycle, I'm going to be leaving the Zed at home. So I guess the backpack will be used very frequently, thus making it a worthwhile investment if it makes my life easier in any way. No local store stock this backpack unfortunately. The only store who sell it is Halfords, but I have to reserve it online first as they don't stock this backpack in-store either! I ordered from Amazon who are selling it for £73. They have a very good returns policy so I can always return it for free if I don't like it. I was torn between the Black or Green options. In the end I decided to order the Green one as it's brighter (safety) and it will match my hi viz helmet, hi viz cycling gloves and hi viz waterproof jacket. What colour would you go for? I hope a 22L (18L + 4L expandable) capacity is enough? I really appreciate all your help and advice matey
  11. You should have sold the upgrades separately (swapped for standard bits) then traded it in mate. You would have recouped some money back that way. This wouldn't have affected the price offered as a PX anyway as traders are not really concerned what upgrades are fitted, only private buyers are normally.
  12. I bought my Zed with Tein S-spec springs already fitted. It's a good cross between looks and practicality. I'll attach a photo when I have a minute.
  13. I just realised, I didn't look at the descriptions properly! Thank you! I'm really tempted to get this one: http://www.deutergb.co.uk/bike/super-bike-18-exp/ It's an additional £13 but has a much greater capacity (expandable too) and retains all of the features and a couple extra. At around £70 it is a pretty expensive backpack though!
  14. Thank you so much for your help mate, your a star! I've just done some research on these backpacks and they look really good, exactly what I'm after! I'm just trying to research which one is right for me now. What do you think of this one: http://www.bikeradar.com/mtb/gear/category/accessories/luggage/backpack/cycling-backpacks/product/review-deuter-race-exp-air-pack-47640/ Do you know the difference between Race and Race EXP? Once again thank you matey
  15. Do any members on here cycle to work? Over the past couple of months I've started riding my Boardman road bike to work. I thought I'd get more use out of it seeing as it was sitting there doing nothing and this also saves me having to stress about the Zed being parked in a student area for 12 hours overnight. At the moment I use an Adidas backpack which just about fits my work equipment, packed lunch and a t-shirt to change when I arrive at work (get really sweaty!) Recently I've been riding in the rain and I've realised my backpack is not big enough to fit my combat trousers and jacket etc along with the usual equipment and food I take to work with me everyday. Can any of you who commute on a bike recommend a good-sized backpack designed for this kind of use? I've heard there are backpacks which have specific compartments for wet clothes? I appreciate all your input guys
  16. Stuff like this always happens, it's very common. It's when paperwork is being processed in the registrations department and they process it faster than the department who deals with vehicle ownership transfers etc. When I bought my Zed, the previous owner sent off the log book with my name. A week later I sent off my private plate retention documents along with the new keeper supplement with my details (green slip) to get my private plate applied to my new Zed as my retention was running out. I still had not received the new log book in my name yet by then. A week later I received my new log book with my private registration but did not receive any confirmation of registration change letters nor the new MOT certificate or road tax disc. A few days later I received another log book with the original plate on! So now I had 2 log books with different registrations for the same car! A few days later I then received confirmation of registration change along with the revised MOT certificate and tax disc. Because 2 departments at DVLA are dealing with the same thing, this sort of stuff happens. As long as you have your new car's logbook with your private plate on it, you have nothing to worry about. The registration department don't know you have sold your Zed so they sent you the revised logbook instead.
  17. Yep, I'm from Leicester too. Costs an arm and a leg to insure my cars here! Even with 5 years NCD!
  18. Sorry to hijack this thread and I hope you don't mind... I filled up the screenwash the other day and it all came gushing out from behind the passenger side front bumper! Why could this be? Has a pipe disconnected? After I tried using the windscreen washer jets, the screenwash just trickled out of the nozzle like all the screenwash was lost from the passenger side leak. Is it possible just to fill the windscreen washer bottle and not the headlight washer bottle without having to remove my bumper to block the piping off? I don't need the headlight washers anyway as they ruin the car when it's just been cleaned! Many thanks for all your help guys! Hassan :-)
  19. Thank you for your help mate, really appreciate it! The close-up bonnet photo was really helpful! The stickers I ordered from America are slightly smaller than the ones in the photos you've attached. I think these stickers are for the NISMO wheels! However, the bonnet close-up photo helped a lot to position mine correctly. I will attach a couple of photos later on. Hopefully the sticker doesn't look too small! I will take a proper photo of the rear when I have the opportunity. I didn't finish applying it until the sun set! For the rear sticker, I measured the distance from the side of the '3' to the edge of the tailgate where it joins the rear quarter panel and then measured the distance between the bottom of the '3' to the bottom of the tailgate where it joins the rear bumper. I then used the same measurements to measure where the red 'o' should be placed to ensure the sticker is symmetrical to the 350Z badge on the opposite side. I really hope it looks okay!
