  3. Not mine just yet, in the process of buying but was thinking about changing the exhaust earlier Looked to be in very good condition from when i saw it, obviously i'd get better pics once i've actually got the car Sorry just read back to your original post......d'oh....clearly didnt read the 1st sentence very well! Perhaps getting too late in the day to be on the forum and still working! PM if you do obtain the car and decide to sell the K1.....I have a friend who really wants a good quality and priced example Will do, cheers BACON Should be mine in a few weeks if all goes well Few weeks!? You sure you're not getting confused with a house purchase procedure? Only kidding matey I'm guessing Its someone you know who owns It? Otherwise It would be sold in a few weeks
  4. Let's hope that is proved tomorrow before the final whistle!
  5. Hope they do us a favour and thrash Manchester City
  6. Manchester United V Manchester City tomorrow at 8pm....I'm nervous!!!!
  7. Just a quick one with regards to having he Zed insured on a fully comprehensive policy and driving another vehicle on third-party cover (obviously with the owners consent). With Admiral, you have to be 25 years or older to benefit from this. I'm 24 and still have 1 year left until I can drive my family's cars around on third-party cover. Seeing as you're 23, unfortunately you're in the same boat as me.
  8. I had the same issue!!!! Luckily for me they didn't apply extreme force or heat it as they knew what the consequences would be and just asked me to come back after getting it sorted. Luckily they didn't as I wouldn't want to keep my car at a garage for a few days! Thanks to CS, all got sorted Seems as though most Zeds suffer this issue.
  9. That looks the business... I like that front lip, where can you get it from and price if anybody knows?
  10. Hello all! As most of you must already know, Man Utd drawing and Man City has opened up the title race once again. Looking at the remaining fixtures and most importantly the Manchester Derby, who do you think will end up winning. As a Man Utd fan, I am getting very nervous. How could you lose a 2 goal lead at 83 minutes? Discuss....
  11. Thanks for your reply matey. Could you please advise on the best bricks to use? I have no idea what the differences are between them and what will last longer with constant exposure to fire than the other. I need to sit down and work out what the optimal height is so I don't get a back ache doing the BBQ! Would you by any chance know what sort of money I'd be looking to spend (per brick) on the ones you recommend? I have seen London bricks for sale at BnQ for 34p a brick but I wasn't sure if this is the correct brick? How high above the BBQ should the chimney go? Do I treat the bricks with anything to ensure it lasts? PS - Congratulations on the new arrival mate, really happy for you and the Mrs! Hope they are both well Must be the best moment of your life! I wish your newly formed family happiness, good health and success for the future You are funny! Yes I did know that thank you for pointing that out to me though...you never know I may have thought that! What bricks etc you recommend? HAHAHA!!! That sounds like fun!! I fear of making the same mistake! I hope I don't end up making it wonky too! Is the kit good value for money? I have seen one at Wickes and BnQ at about £20-£25, will I be better off with them? I want to build a large BBQ, where do you think I can get a large kit from (large surface area)? Are there any drawbacks to making a large BBQ? Thanks for your advice mate Thanks for your advice. I will definitely do build one next to the BBQ, very good idea!
  12. Buy a house, rent it out and let that income buy you a nice car and more
  13. Hi all, I am planning on building a brick BBQ in the back garden ready for the summer weather (if we even get any!) There are many ideas I have seen on Google and I thought this design and DIY BBQ kit looks the best: http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/33065966 ... adtype=pla The turned bricks to provide the supports for the grills looks like a good idea as metal supports would corrode and give way over a certain amount of time. Have any of you built one or have one at their house? Photos would be very much appreciated to give me some inspiration! Any advice/pointers would also be great. Can you also please recommend any places where I can purchase the good quality DIY BBQ kit for this brick BBQ at a good price? Preferable a large one so we can place more food on there at the same time. Your help is very much appreciated.
  14. Was that round the corner from Dam Square? I'm sure I went there...
  15. Hi mate, do you have the ashtray and is it in good condition with the clips/spring in working order? Mine is loose and wobbles around inside the centre console compartment as something has broken off.
  16. Thanks for your reply mate. I don't have a faulty window regulator/motor, this question is to do with an advert I've seen where window regulators and motors are being advertised and a statement reads 'you could fail an MOT if you have a faulty window regulator or motor' As this does not apply to Cars, what does this apply to?
  17. I get zapped so hard you can hear the current transfer and me jump randomly
  18. Hi all, As a lot of you have some sort of MOT experience, I thought I'd ask this question... I've been made aware some vehicle classifications are checked for faulty windows (regulators/motors), does anybody know which vehicle classification this applies to? I know this is not checked on 'normal' vehicles but apparently they are on commercial vehicles. I've been on the VOSA website but cannot find anything! Thanks for your help guys!
  19. I've had this issue for the past few years with several cars and obviously different clothes/shoes...
  20. I drive slow on purpose sometimes so I can listen to music Sameeeee!!!!! At 60/70mph it's quiet enough inside the car to listen to music at a normal volume. When you begin to exceed the 70mph barrier, it gets excessively loud in there, even at just 5mph more! But then since I fitted the HFCs (thanks to you and CS ), the car has become much louder at 3k revs when under load. When reaching 75mph, the revs come closer to the 2.5/3k mark which may be the reason.
