  1. Don't forget they usually contain more than 1 disk. The most important thing about my NAS for me is that I can run it as RAID 1 where both disks automatically contain the same data - so if 1 dies I can just pop in another disk and they'll sync up again without me having to do anything or losing my data (unless 2 disks die at the same time). Given the use that Hazzan wanted, I wasnt going to open can of worms that is RAID configurations My NAS is quite old now, but has the benefit that its 4 disks in RAID5 Chris knows me too well already I'm well behind on all these types of stuff!!
  2. Hi all, Recently I've noticed a really high pitched squeaky noise coming from somewhere when I drive over an uneven road. I'm trying to work out if it's interior or suspension related but I'm finding it difficult to tell! Do the seats or seat belt clips suffer from this if they're not greased enough? Is there something I should check first that's common on other 350z's? I appreciate your help guys! Hassan
  3. Seems like a lot of laptop for the price. I believe HP are going to stop making PC hardware soon, but that shouldn't really matter. Yeah...I heard that too! Probably can't compete with the big boys hey...
  4. I think your budget went out the window Yes it did Shhh...I already feel guilty, don't make me feel worse!
  5. Thanks all for your advice (special thanks to Mitz at CS for providing help over the phone today although he was busy). I finally had enough courage to do it myself! after fitting the battery and firing her up, I'm sure it sounded slightly different when she roared to life? Maybe it's just placebo?
  6. I bought my car without colour coded splash guards, they were black. Once I colour coded them, the transformed the look of the car. Then I decided to pair them with a pair of Nismo rear spats. They compliment each other quite well...
  7. Hi all, Hope some of you can help...I'm sure a few of you come from the Marketing background and will have some knowledge on Adobe products I'm after. I am currently in charge of Marketing & Promotions and a lot of my work involves working on Photoshop creating various artwork. A lot of you must know where I can purchase a Photoshop package for a good price, I've already checked the obvious online stores. I thought it would be best looking at purchasing the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium Edition or the Master Collection Edition. This will provide me with the software required for creating other marketing material such as newsletters etc. Is anyone aware where I can source the full package at a cheaper price? I will need the fully licensed Windows version, not an upgrade. The cheapest I've seen so far is around £1,500 but I've heard places sell them for around the £800 mark. I appreciate all your input guys Many Thanks, Hassan
  8. Only if you did orange....
  9. Gosh that's double some people's full-time salary!
  10. My 330ci M sport with the 18" M sport MV2 wheels had the tyre sizes mentioned previously (225/40/18 fronts and 255/35/18 rears)
  11. I test drove that in January 2010 just before I bought mine. It was at a dealer based in Hinckley. The mileage doesn't seem to have moved since then...

  13. I purchased a 'Premium' Exide battery with a 4 year warranty. The model number is: EA654. Now I need advice on how to replace the battery? Never done one before... How do i prevent the electrics going haywire, alarm sounding and stereo resetting? Many thanks, Hassan
  14. Thanks for your help guys! Yes I needed a laptop and not a netbook as it will most of the time be used at home and not be transported anywhere I ended up purchasing this: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/hp-pavili ... 6-pdt.html It was £399 when I purchased it (gone up since the Xmas sale). Comes with 750GB a hard drive, 6GB RAM, 2.4 GHz and an i5 processor. What do you guys think?
  15. + 1 I had the Lambo too! I was quite disappointed with my experience though...unfortunately there was torrential rain at the time I had my 'experience' and the instructor was being very strict. He wouldn't let me put my foot down and get forcing me to shift gear as soon as it hit 3k revs so couldn't really enjoy full power On top of that all the windows were steamed up so I couldn't see where I was going! I didn't think a supercar costing that much would have major condensation issues?!
  16. The full capacity is 8.7 litres. I purchased 'premix' coolant from Nissan so there was no stress about diluting the coolant with distilled water...
  17. Yes, I was talking about the same thing!! Yesterday morning I was on my way to work and it felt very warm!! I had a wooly hat, gloves and a scarf on and i felt overly dressed!! Got to work and for the first time in a few weeks I didn't have to run to the heater! Weird... It's bloody mid December!! This time last year it was the 'big freeze' with temperature readings of -10/12!! I'm loving this...
  18. Makes me feel better as I've just had my BIG P3 service done too (current mileage is 47k, slightly early)!! At least I ain't the only one that's skint My list is as follows: - Four-wheel laser alignment - Iridium spark plugs changed (Denso Iridium) - Belts changed (Gates belts) - Engine oil and filter change (Motul and OEM Nissan filter) - Coolant change (OEM Nissan fluid) - Brake fluid change (OEM Nissan fluid) - Diff oil change (OEM Nissan oil) - Gearbox oil change + Molyslip (OEM Nissan oil) - Handbrake adjusted - EBC Yellowstuff brake pads all round - Rear EBC Ultimax brake discs - Front discs were recently changed to DBA 5000 rotors Thanks to CS for supplying me with parts and carrying out the work!! Once again, AWESOME SERVICE!!!! PS - I'm in need of donations too!

    RM CYA's 350Z

440bhp evo 8? The highest stock evo was FQ400, but still, modded past that, they're monsters! Chocolate gearboxes and diffs though unless you get a 5 speed fitted and RS rear diff, but that does away with the ayc. Cool, cheers for the heads up! I'll have a think about what I'm going to do, lol Sorry mate, it might have been the FQ400. The model number was definitely in the 400s though I don't really know much about Evo's so it's all Chinese to me! It did have a lot of work carried out on it though. I'll try get hold of a pic if I have one on my PC at home or on my phone

    What colour

I went for the bright silver with loads of metallic flake option also...
  21. She must have got really excited looking at the weight of the thing when wrapped up!! I would be quite disappointed unwrapping it and realising it's a car battery
  22. There is a list of codes somewhere, you could probably find it using the search function If it was getting worse over time, it probably is the gunk building up in the window motor. You'll need to remove the door card and visually inspect it (you'll need to do it anyway when/if you fit a new window motor).
