  1. And you find that strange given that we are at xmas? As the others have said, you need to order in the Autumn, around Sept/Oct to beat any rush. Zed can handle snow on summer tyres if you are a good driver, but I wouldnt recommend it. I made it back a couple of years ago from Slough to Basingstoke when most other users on the road were giving up, even in FWD cars. Just have to take it steady and keep moving. Or just not go out when it snows I know I did decide slightly late I drove my BMW 330ci M sport with an automatic transmission in the snow last year, I'm sure the 350z ain't as bad as a 3.0 litre auto BMW with different summer tyres on each axle is it?! I live right next to main roads which tend to be clear by the time I get out the house anyway, so I'm sure it should be okay. Oh, no worries, the 350Z only has a bigger engine, more torque and virtually no weight over the rear axle, you'll be fine. I remember struggling to get out of a service station / reststop in Belgium, luckily a few guys in a truck behind me jumped out and offered to help. Next thing I know is I got my boot open and two guys sitting in it and one guy pushing, once I got moving they jumped out and closed the rear hatch and waved me good bye. OI stop scaring me!!
  2. I got all my lecture notes together and condensed it down to a few page 'notes booklet' with lots of different highlighter colours. Then I would condense that booklet down further until I'm down to about 4 sides of A4. Worked best for me
  3. Write your notes on your arms and wear a long sleeve top during the exam
  4. I've just purchased the AA cover with the Quidco cashback offer Thanks for all your help guys!!

  6. I've been ringing around, no one seems to have any stock left!!
  7. They've still got that offer on. It's basically £29 but you receive £22 as cashback I'm guessing?
  8. Hi all, I am planning on commuting to work in my Zed on a daily basis (motorway driving) and I'm contemplating purchasing a set of winter tyres as I'm sure my Potenza's will be useless in the snow Anyone have any tyre recommendations? I'm after a set that won't send me in a ditch but are very well priced at the same time. I appreciate your help guys Regards, Hassan
  9. Hi all, I'm in need of a breakdown cover as I'm going to be travelling up and down the motorway on a daily basis from January onwards. I have never taken out a breakdown cover and thought it's now best I get one out just in case I am faced by the unexpected... I'm not sure if any of you have heard of Quidco but they have a cashback offer on AA breakdown covers. If I spend more than £100, I get £60 back. The cover I require consists of: Home start, national recovery and roadside assistance. If I cover myself as a driver or passenger of any vehicle, the cover comes up to £105. With the cashback, the cover will work out to £45. Are there any better deals out there? My missus got the same cover for £2 a few months ago!! I highly doubt that offer will come back onto Quidco seeing as it's become very popular recently...
  10. Hi all, I'm planning on getting my Zed serviced at CS soon as it's due a P3. This is what I plan on carrying out: - Oil - Oil filter - Spark plugs - Belts - Brake fluid - Coolant change - Gearbox oil and Molyslip - VLSD (diff) oil - Sump plug crush washer - Rear Brake pads - Rear discs - Adjust handbrake Am I missing anything else? The previous owner has been using 5w40 Millers oil since the car was bought new but I was planning on swapping back to the manufacturer recommendation of 5w30. Is it okay if I changed to 5w30 and will Castrol 5w30 be okay to use? I have been given 2 model numbers for the Iridium spark plugs. The performance one is DENIKH16 and the OEM one is DENVKH16. The performance one (DENIKH16) is significantly cheaper than the OEM ones, anyone know why? Is Comma coolant okay to use or do you only recommend Nissan's coolant? Which type do I go for? I appreciate your help guys Many Thanks, Hassan
  11. I have a habit of 'swerving' around pot holes (when safe obviously) as I don't want to ruin my alignment and suspension. An onlooker must have thought I was drink driving and reported my number plate to the police. They didn't pay me a visit on the day but followed me home and stopped me outside my house the day after.
  12. They do look nice and the price is low... How does the sound quality and bass compare to other manufacturers like Sennheiser/Monster Beats/Sony/Bose etc?
  13. In the end I returned the Seagate 2TB desktop hard drive which I purchased for £79.99 and purchased a 1TB Western Digital My Passport Essentials SE portable hard drive for £89.99 from PC World (in-store price is £129.99). In the end I decided I needed a portable hard drive rather than a desktop one so I have the flexibility of taking it around with me. This portable hard drive is both USB 2.0 and 3.0 compatible. Thanks a lot for all your help guys! Really appreciate it! Link for the drive is below: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/western-d ... ~~09312029
  14. What is a NAS drive? Any joy on the Molyslip? I am getting my P3 service done in the next few weeks. All belts, coolant, oil, filters, rear pads, brake fluid, spark plugs, molyslip, diff oil, gearbox oil (possibly) etc
  15. Good point bro! I shall drop them an e-mail and find out! If they do cover that, then they're probably worth a punt hey...?
  16. I think I've made my decision to purchase Mike's recommendation, the Sennheiser IE6. Just a couple of questions before I go ahead and purchase it (I've seen it for £69.99 on play and Amazon), what's the cord and the joins like? My headphones tend to take a battering at the gym and suffer from a lot of pulling pressure on the part where the wire joins to the headphones and the socket that plugs into the phone, as the wire gets pulled a lot. My last 2 headphones have failed as the connection between the wire and the headphones or the wire that joins onto the plug gets loose/disconnected and only works when you fiddle with the wire to get it to work again. I don't want to face this issue again. Basically I want a pair of headphones where the wire joins are very solid and flexible, allowing it to handle a lot of pressure. I listen to music on my HTC Sensation, will these headphones produce high sound quality on this phone or is the phone not capable of producing that kind of quality sound as it's not solely designed for that purpose? Thanks for the help!
  17. Yes mate!! What's going on?? Sorry I haven't been on in a while, I am without an internet connection at home at the moment up until the 20th of this month. Currently waiting for my new supplier to connect me up! Missing using the chatroom!! My phone don't allow me to log on to it any more through my mobile internet? I'm still eating tonnes by the way! Yeah that's true about the o2 spacers, I will need to get the codes read so I know for sure it is the o2 sensors. I will keep you updated mate... I'll be back on chat soon Ohh!!! It happened to you too?! How often did it used to trigger after resetting it? Did you get your OBDII software working on your laptop by any chance? In the end I bought a Western Digital 1TB My Passport Essentials SE portable hard drive from PC world for £89.99 by the way I hope that is the case and not something more serious! Ah...that's ok then!! So it's not only me with this issue! I've always thought HFCs were popular due to the capabilities of avoiding the EML light triggering? That's the reason I purchased a HFC rather than a decat. So the spacers just reduces the possibility of the EML triggering...thought it would avoid it completely. Guess I was wrong Is there any way of avoiding the EML light triggering other than removing the HFCs or removing the dash bulb? Having an EML light come on on a regular basis will become quite annoying over time! Alright for some, I am useless at it!! Narcotix did my pedal dancing for me the last time my EML light triggered! It's a 2-man job ain't it? One does the pedal dancing and stop watch and one does the recording of the flashing EML code? Or am I just a typical man who can't multi-task?
  18. I'm guessing the IE 6 is better than the CX 870? I've noticed there is only a price difference of around £15 (IE 6 being dearer). Is the IE 6 worth the extra circa. £15?
  19. Just checked the prices for IE7 and IE8 before I read your post....they sure are! Didn't know headphones even existed in that price bracket! The Sennheiser IE6 does seem to fit the bill however! Now I need to search for a good price... I was considering purchasing the Beats one as previously suggested but there are too many counterfeit ones floating around. For peace of mind I'd have to purchase it from a proper retailer with an average price of £120!
  20. I see there is a majority vote for Sennheiser... Apart from the Sennheiser IE6 mentioned by Mike, which others are recommended? They all have different model numbers and I have no idea which ones are superior! I've looked at Bose Neil, they seem quite expensive? Which Sony ones do you recommend Rich?
  21. Thanks for your help guys!!! All your suggestions have been great! I've heard some great things about Sennheiser but I weren't sure if it was made for my type of music? I've also heard great things about Denon. Have any of you tried a set? Powerbeats or any other headphones made by Beats were top of my list as it's directly aimed at my type of music. However, I'm slightly concerned by the negative feedback I've heard. A lot of people say they are 'over rated'? These are the reviews on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews ... ewpoints=1 My budget was around the £80 mark but happy to push the boat slightly further if they exceed my requirements
  22. The last time it threw up an EML code pointing towards the cats was the last time I went on the motorway 2/3 months ago. After that Andy at CS fitted Alex's lamda spacers for me and it hasn't come on since. Ironically I went on the motorway on Thursday (first time since the last EML light trigger) but it didn't come on then. I drove it briefly on Friday and no EML came on then either. The EML triggered about 5/10 minutes into my journey this morning after the car had sat on the drive for 2 days.
  23. Hi all, I am after a set of in-ear headphones as my current ones broke at the gym last week. I cannot live without music in my ears when training. This time I've decided to get some very good quality ones with powerful but clear bass characteristics. I am a bit of a bass junky and tend to listen to a lot of hip hop and R&B. I would like headphones that would suit this type of music. I hope there's somebody out there who can advise me I don't know anything about headphones so all advice is appreciated. Links to good deals would also be a great help! Many Thanks, Hassan
