Hello all! I'm currently looking for a cheap but reliable external hard drive that has a large storage capacity. It need to have fairly quick upload/download speeds and obviously USB compatible (plug and play). Can anybody please recommend anything? Your help is very much appreciated. Hassan

I had the same issue, turned out to be corrosion on the inner side edge of my front brake disc. We filed off the corrosion but it didn't help, it was way past it's good days. It was an excuse to purchase a pair of DBA 5000 2 peice rotors and Ferodo DS2500 pads I guess...

Shouldn't. You're right. But Glaswegian dvla employees are a rare breed It used to be instant and then you had to wait for the documents to arrive. They change the tax disc there and then.... Recently I heard they done away with this service in there office and it now takes a few days. Took my mate 2 weeks for his stuff to changeover from his q7 to his 5 series he just bought. That was done through a dealer and included the time for the documents to arrive. When you transfer a plate on retention onto a vehicle then it's instant. When I bought my private plate I got all the documents sorted at the office and they printed off a new MOT certificate and tax disc with the new plate on, the log book was sent via post though. I was in the DVLA car park changing the plates over - boy I was like an excited little child! They do let you keep your old plates on your car for 2 working days before you have to change it over. I had to send my old tax disc back to them to prevent fraud, I forgot to send it back though.

I finally got my alignment sorted yesterday at the same place as you've mentioned (Tyres & Exhausts Galore next to CS). Thanks to Andy at CS for sorting out my ceased rear camber adjustment bolts which prevented the alignment centre from carrying out the alignment initially. Although CS has been really busy, Andy somehow managed to fit me into his tight schedule and got my Zed onto the ramp and sorted it out for me - Many Thanks to CS!! The alignment report is shown below just in case you need the specs for your set-up:

We had an R8 convertible V10 for the weekend a month ago for my mates wedding - Very nice!

Mine was completed within a week. They sent me a letter of acknowledgement informing me I could transfer my plate over. I received the log book a couple of weeks later. I initially went into DVLA Nottingham so this must have speeded up the process a little. By post it normally takes 28 days if I remember correctly.

Yeah it does ruin the game definitely, but if they've banned these gamers without any warnings being issued then I think that's harsh! Some gamers don't see that as 'breaching the terms and conditions' and just exploiting badly coded parts of the game.

You most likely have the facelift bumper fitted hence everyone supplying you with incorrect size reflectors (pre-facelift). Show us a pic to confirm. A facelift bumper looks like this: http://www.zcars.com.au/userimages/user ... 572510.jpg There's a noticeable bulge on the bottom section of the bumper below the grill. or Mitz at CS, they may be able to supply you with facelift reflectors. If not, go to Nissan and ask specifically for a 2007+ bumper reflectors.

That's harsh...some gamers wouldn't think it's wrong in doing it and just exploiting an opportunity to have a competitive advantage. Imagine those gamers who were banned are honest gamers who were naive and spent all their last penny's on the game to learn they've now been banned. Some people live and breathe that game... I don't really have time to play on he console any more but I used to be addicted to it in my younger days, I can imagine being banned quite frustrating!

If someone did that to my car, I would chase them and run them over Grand Theft Auto style! Only joking...I wouldn't only because their head would scratch my paintwork!

Unfortunately I can't say I've heard of something like that happen to anyone I know. But I strongly recommend reporting this to the local police station incase they report it as a hit and run. They have up to 6 months to report this and you could end up losing your license if you can't prove you weren't in the wrong and didn't report it. You will look innocent if you report it and they do go and report it as a hit and run too. Hopefully everything will pan out ok for you mate

That's the only image I have unfortunately when I fitted them. I don't even have a before image! Normally I'm a pic whore as well But at least it'll give you some sort of an idea... They are definitely worth replacing...
