With a heavy heart im selling my Zed It's been a great car - I normally only keep cars for around 2 years. I've had the Zed for 5. It is: A 2005, 54 plate Black 350Z GT with 55,224 miles at present. It falls into the lower tax bracket and benefits from the usual GT pack goodies - the seats are full leather, electronically adjustable and heated - Bose stereo system (stubby aerial fitted but original in the glove box) - 18" Rays wheels, I had these refurbed in anthracite It is slightly modified - wheel spacers, purely cosmetic but dont push the wheel out past the bodywork - Antracite wheels as mentioned above - Plenum spacer (via the 350Z forums) - Uprev remap by RS Tuning in Leeds - 290bhp It has been taken good car of by Falcon Performance in Middlesborough (if the car stays even remotely local they have my full recommendation). The next service is due Feb 2016. MOT due this month - I will get this done in the next 2 weeks. Tyres have loads of tread, all four were replaced at the start of this summer. The reason for sale is to make space for a new car. My commute has trippled in length so I now have a 65 plate 330D on boat over to the UK as we speak. The paintwork is in good condition for car of its age, usual stone chips etc but none that are particularly noticeable. I do like to keep it clean (I find it therapeutic!) and the Detailing World forums have cost me a lot of money! Only real bad point is some kerbing to the drivers side alloys. No buckling or bending of the wheel though. For a good offer I will be prepared to get these refurbed. I have two keys and a valet key knocking around somewhere. I'm not a fan os this revenge BS. I don't have kids, I do have a kid sister that im overly protective of and I think I agree that in the heat of the moment someone might get a slap. Pre-meditated revenge / torture is just a waste. A waste of time. Im pro death sentance for pre-meditated murder, pre-meditated rape and all rape <13. Prove beyond doubt and a bullet to the head and be done with it. It's a log ical approach in my opinion. Restorative justice doesn't work. I deal with enough people with 50+ or 100+ arrests on a daily basis to be SURE that offenders rarely truly reform. (apologies for spelling grammer - post nightshift!)

I could see an arguement that if you are found to be using a detector that also (purposefully or not) jams a handheld detector then you may be viewed as obstructing..

As much as I see what you mean and with the greatest of respect, I think you may be greatly over estimating how interesting your regular trip to the newsagents is! They are used to track criminals, stolen vehicles or people who may be in danger. Im all for having one on every set of traffic lights - even if it catches me at a George Michael gig.

Little scrotes!! Conditional caution he said mate. Totally different thing. A conditional caution would likely be along the lines of pay for the damage or go to court. If you are dead against a CC then inform the Police of this. Perhaps in a statement. That makes it harder (not impossible, annoyingly) for the CPS to go down that route. If the Police are talking about conditional cautions then the choice is out of their hands. That put's it into the CPS' ballpark. They will decide what the outcome is. What I would suggest you do is take your car to 2 or 3 garages and get quotes for repairing the damage. If the value of the damage caused to all vehicles is over £5000 then it is a more serious offence and likely to result in court. Nothing to stop you suing them too if you aren't happy with the outcome at court. If one of them has a vehicle, he clearly has 'some' money.

Her actions on the day amount to a fail to stop, but she could easily say she didn't feel safe to stop. It's a valid defence (especially given your actions in stopping her). If she did not give you details and did not speak to the Police about it within 24 hours, she is guilty on an offence (fail to report). It would be a fairly easy win in court IMO. However, IMO a more appropriate course of action would be a driver improvement course (not all forces offer these) as it sounds like a momentary lapse in her concentration. As to wether you would need to report it to your insurance company next year.. grey area. In theory anyone who curbs a rim has had an accident.. which is daft. However, having her prosecuted might show that you believed it was an accident! I'm not a traffic cop, but I find traffic easy peasy. It is black and white for the most part. Some things can and should be privitised. Some things can be privitised but never, ever should be. The military, the emergency services, the NHS and Education - they should never be in the hands of business. Any time they move the goalposts towards making money = a loss of service = long term problems. Sadly however, the government are already privitising the Police, the NHS and Schools. When we cross that line to a two tier system for rich and poor is when I will chuck my card in and ply my trade some warmer.

That is an easy question to answer. The judicial system in this country is f**ked up. I regularly meet people with 100+ arrests / court convictions. All court sentances are lies. Divide by two and thats the real sentance, and even then most won't serve that much unless they constantly re-offend in prison. The government needs to build more prisons. Simple. Argue all you want about prison not being an effective deterent, but the simple truth is that recidivist offenders cannot burgle your house if they are in prison. There are certainly social issues that lead to criminal behaviour, we see 6 yr olds smiling and waving at the pandas. Give it a few years and they will be "saluting" and spitting instead. Sad, but true. Those issues will take generations to fix, if ever. In the mean time, protect the victims and lock-up the bad-uns. The police could fill new prisons spaces very quickly. Rant over. Does she remember consenting? Were there 3rd party witnesses? Did she say, "Yeah I likely would have consented to sex with 1 guy, but no way would I ever consent to a second joining in - especially since I had met him earlier" etc etc: Without seeing the court transcripts there's no way to know. Or maybe she said she didn't consent to either but there was enough evidence to cloud the issue and make a conviction unlikely. Maybe the jury liked one bloke more than the other. Maybe... etc: As I say, consent is the hazzy area legally. Drunk people can consent and not remember it - there is still ongoing battles over that being true consent though. If drunk people 100% could not consent, then how many relationships are based on rape? Or a woman sexually assaulting a man?

I thought it was decent enough value for money (probably the same one you saw), but we did wish we could have gotten a bigger tray. I was living in a house full of blokes at the time, so we had to fit a fair bit of meat on the BBQ! I'd second what the others have said about building a 'tray' next too or near the BBQ. We did, and it comes in handy for food and beer storage. Brick wise, we used engineering bricks I think, if I was to do it again in my own place, I would use similar bricks for an inside layer and then an outer of nicer looking 'posh bricks' and get a bigger grill area. It's quite permenant so you might as well spend the cash and do it right the first time around. You've probably answered the question there. Guesswork time. If she consented to going back with one bloke (a) for sex, then fair enough, crack on. That doesn't mean she consented to another bloke ( joining in though. And if she didn't consent to the other bloke joining in, then thats rape. No if's, no but's, no maybe's. It's rape. If she is then being raped by (, she is unlikely to still be consenting to (a) having sex with her, at which point (a) is raping her too. Legally, rape is very easily defined. Consent however is very difficult to pin down. I may be biased here, but knowing the Police and the CPS, since this got to court, I reckon there must be a lot of truth to it. Rapes with 'dodgy' accusations can often result in arrests, but very rarely make it to court. There is still a massive stigma around rapes and going to court with them. I took an initial account a few months back where a young girl had consented to sex with one bloke, but not with his seven or so pals.. She later declined to give a statement etc when CID were involved. I still believe her. On the flip side, the fact that the accussed were footballers / public figures will have played a part with the bosses in the Police and CPS. Wrong, but true. Personally, i'd happily take a Gene Hunt approach to anyone like that. Scum.

That kit looks like a decent price. We got ours from Wickes I think. Me and a mate built one a couple of years back. Took us two days and two crates of beer. It was a bit wonky, but that was probably due to the beer.. We went to the local builders merchants for bricks. Filled up the back of his old Hyundai Coupe with the bricks, then cruised home at 15mph with a MEGA low car, windows down, shades on and Elton John blasting out the speakers As long as you start off level, it's not too hard and using the grill tray as a template makes things easy. I would recommend sobriety.

I reckon that could be moved without breaking any laws.. Total idiot for parking like that, what if you needed to make an urgent trip to hospital or asda etc? Cops could only ticket or uplift if it was blocking a public road (or your access to the road) off the top of my head.
