  4. Firstly massive thanks and hats of to Bennett for having me and being a fountain of knowledge on most things including the zed had a laugh and was relatively stress free except for the RAC stitch up at the end! Forum wont allow the amount of thumbs up I want to put down So the trip started early morning on tuesday and beat all the traffic up for an early start. Straight to it...get the strut bar/plenum off and cut many harnesses and remove many bits of plastic I didn't even know was there,Bennett soon ripped most of it out more to follow when pics finish uploading.....
  5. I got both locations wrong, but close enough! As other have suggested best to go to one of the mentioned garages
  6. I live near Kingston, and no specialists nearby really, Jez at Horsham or Abbey in Godstone are closest reccomended specialists , other than that it would be an independent garage
  7. looks a great example welcome to zed ownership
  8. As title states brand new unopened 5 Litre bottle of Fuchs Titan Race Oil 5w 40 £45 collected from Surrey (near Kingston)
  9. Just a little feedback..I bottomed the front out 3 times today going into London, got back home and checked underneath...Skid Plates are doing there job bumper completely untouched, highly recommend
  10. RAC here too, although if your still not sure while waiting for recovery, take the front bumper off and then shouldn't have any issues
  11. Fully taxed and insured the zed going for a drive in the sun for first time properly in over a year
  12. I do my own and keep receipts for everything then the new owner (there wont be one ) can see its all there and accounted for so I would say just do that
  13. around £500-600 on the brembo callipers may get discs with it may not, may get pads with it may not depends whats out there, would also want to upgrade the lines at the same time, would you fit yourself or get someone else to do it?
  14. some pics from film here maybe one was drift car and other for general scenes, I watched it on itv2 aswell http://www.fanpop.co...ailer-screencap http://www.fanpop.co...ailer-screencap http://www.fanpop.co...ailer-screencap
  15. Decided to bleed the brakes today, went surprisingly ok, hardest part was getting the car up off all 4 wheels few aerial shots Brake bleeding setup Went round twice bleeding just to make sure it was ok, pedal went hard so put everything back on and drove to end of garages and slowed down and locked up on the gravel so I presume all is good will give it a proper test and bed in soon but im pretty happy all is ok and it feels a lot better just from the short drive. Also trekked it up to Bennetts and sat on the M25 for 2.5 hours then had to drive 2 more hours roughly 2 hour journey took me 5 hours dropped all my charging stuff off and now the brakes are done shouldnt be long till its Vortech time! Had to buckle up Supercharger for journey, better safe than sorry mrs didnt look impressed with that one
  16. cant beat a bit of two tone, nice to see a different lip to, suits the mods you have done well
  17. nope mine is an import and in the lower tax bracket
  18. Mines gone up in the south, but what I think is yes they have frozen the price but that was when we were in the 120s so technically its still frozen at that price so they can fluctuate between that and lower without getting in trouble. That might not be the case but if not how have I gone from 104.9 to 116.9?
  19. interesting they used to have a selection for bumpers/bodykits/sideskirts under car parts courier but seem to have taken it off Not sure on weight dimensions im sure someone will be along to help but make sure there is someone in all day at either end to help the process go smoothly from my experience
  20. looks awesome mate fantastic job done there, I share your pain having had my wheels refurbed and scraped them immediately going into garage I havent even taking it out on road yet One of my fave looking zeds
  21. Up for sale are my used front discs of my JDM drilled and grooved plenty of life left on them £40 + postage or collection from Surrey
  22. That doesnt look bad at all should be very easy fix for competent wheel guy
  23. FRS requires fuel bucket being modded to fit a line which is fed through the under of car into engine bay and attached to a FPR from there it goes to fuel rail, there is an additional adapter that goes on end of fuel rail to attach line from FPR. Took me ages to understand it but that's it...although easier said than done lol
  24. get a few jumpers aswell and wedge it between bumper to stop it scratching bumper and your interior plastics when it moves slightly while driving
