  5. mine go the same way as 350 Russ' pic shows, expect I cable tied mine to the hole above it
  6. Do you have a pic of how yours are routed? I done mine recently il try dig out a picture, i chucked my p clips in my tool box, mainly because the hole was the wrong size and it was snagging on the line as per your thread, i ended up using a couple of thick cable ties with enough loop in it for the line to pass through back and forth quite freely, its only temporary for now but have been keeping an eye on it and doesn't seem to have caused any issues or rubbing anywhere
  7. check you have put all hoses back and they are on tight and havent popped off, also check the rubber sill around the oil filler cap to see if its trapped between the plenum, other than that retrace your steps and makes sure you havent missed anything ^^ ah beat me to it
  8. yeah can post if needed drop me a pm

  12. Thanks all, and it was a relief when it turned over ok you cant believe! Also wanted to say thanks to everyone for their help (GMB, Adrian, Keyser, Wasso, Chris B, Bennett) and of course others for helping and answering my countless questions of which without this wouldn't of at all been possible. This is the best forum ever in terms of information, help and friendliness. I have wanted to go FI with previous cars but never had a collection of people knowledgeable and nice enough to make me feel confident about doing it. Next stop sort out an appointment with Jez and see what I get out of the beast
  13. so the moment of truth has everything been done? will it work? is it ok? start her up and lets see........... She is alive and well!!
  14. Just about time to add a ghetto homemade catch can, add in uprev maf, pcv venting etc, check for any fuel/oil leaks, add in the supercharger belts, secure all cables, check everything is done up and all hoses and clamps arent leaking any air
  15. Thanks, not sure yet shouldn't be long though, glad your going FI too, its the way to go
  16. nearly there!! supercharger plate bolted to supercharger and finally in place in the engine bay exiting stuff
  17. Sump in place, hooked up oil return, had a few issues with fitting as the sump is flatter and wider the sandwich plate for oil cooler wouldnt fit on with the braided lines attached, had to run without a cooler for now but will add a second sandwich plate to create room for lines and also to add temp sensor as tapping the pan is long so actually works out ok, filled up with fresh oil and no leaks
  18. Plenum back together with a spacer inbetween oil drained and sump removed still got plenty to go Onto the intercooler and one piece charge pipe in place down and through engine bay and out in perfect position for intercooler Intercooler attached and held with brackets nicely bov pipe in place
  19. Hey Arran did you run two sandwich plates on your oil cooler?? i wondering if it was you who done it, is one of them for sale at all? are you selling up?
  20. Fuel Return System time. Bennett knows his stuff and made short work of everything in his way, I just left him to it CJM output kit on end of fuel rail Fuel Bucket was a pain to get back in, established my fuel gauge is rubbish as it showed near empty and there was loads of fuel left Bucket out Fuel return line eventually found its way through the floor Bucket back in but modified with all the little bits and pieces, because of all the weird angles and crap in the way had to arrange a route for the return line Jobs a goodun and the lines were ran and secured under the car and popped up in the engine bay Return line hooked up to under FPR and side port hooked up to CJM output on fuel rail FPR hooked up and pressure tested to 100psi to check for leaks...it leaked Bit of fettling and tightening and some ptfe tape and shes in pressure tested and holding well
  21. on with the build having being identified as a prolific dropper of bolts and tools all exposed holes in engine were quickly blocked up as the fuel rails were out, time for some new injectors and also changed to one step colder plugs at the same time and in there new home whilst this was going on the horns and power steering cooler were relocated
  22. haha no worries mate ive been meaning to change them thanks for link
