  1. ive got a rear pair, drop me a PM if needed
  2. I think Vlad on here cut the bottom lip off of his V2 and added another maybe worth dropping him a PM he mentions it here post #14 http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/97865-abit-of-help-on-a-bumper-i-have-agreed-to-buy/
  3. the 996 i saw got sold, back to the supercharger build I had another look yesterday and for the money im paying for the S/C there is nothing else out there thats worth the change in my opinion. Anything with similar power/setup is like a few K more than where im at now or much older than my car which I didnt want. Plus I can still take my spanner to the zed with a lot of confidence and of course help on here
  4. Don't say that to me Dan this one I've seen has been made to not look ugly....real dilema now!!! I was hoping it would be awful and the notion can exit my head
  5. interesting convo ive been looking at Porsches recently quite like a 996 turbo I saw however like you unsure if the outlay will warrant any difference from the zed, and also if the 996 is crap (I have no idea on Porsches) i do have a supoercharger for the zed sitting in my living room so im sure i could cope with running costs hmmmmm
  6. maybe these are still for sale if they take your fancy? http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95245-superlightweight-bucket-seats-31kg/
  7. looking great there mate im the opposite and never put enough filler on and spend the exact same time adding more on I also hate sand paper (all grades )
  8. for the price of £500 for the work you could probably spend £100 on tools and have job done in the same time. Use the guides on here and will be fine. failing that its small garage time or try another mobile mechaninc
  9. As GM mentioned will be good to save some weight (depends what your goals are) but alas you may regret it one day and may end up looking like this
  10. where you been stranger? hope all is well buddy...stop messing around with broken fords and get back in a zed
  11. may help sale but I have a set of these in carbon/black new not fitted, I quite fancy red so if someone wants a carbon/black set im willing to swap. you never know Harry maybe someone

    Belts

ive got a set at home £20 they are yours??
  13. at least the tyre sizes are correct
  14. im in Surrey, what part of West are you?
  15. take a look at the make and let us know, the Bridgestones are the manufacturer recommended tyre for the zed and they are truly awful and can cause these kind of issues, if its below even Bridgestones standard then maybe worth changing them. When i used to join the m23 from the m25 there is a massive corner that joins it and on Bridgestones in the dry or wet the TCS used to kick in all the time and I was barely going 55 round it, on Michelins its about as planted as you can get, surprising with the zed what tyres work with it and what dont very well.
  16. really sorry to see this buddy, I hope it does get sorted for you, maybe email him on the paypal address you paid to??
  17. these are now sold , mods can lock it now thanks
  18. someone is supposed to come today but will update if it gets sold or not
  19. Thanks for input guys il have a look into getting the right bolts etc to replace
  20. thanks commander, that is an idea, though 3mm is the most I can go I believe as any longer and there wont be enough thread left on the stud for the nut.
  21. Thanks Colin, Ive seen that in a few posts now and linked to your thread, rare rims do a shim that bit more expensive but looks like will be hassle free on the distortion front
  22. Seems my ET is the problem then if your ok Stevo, at least I dont have to change the tyres now im going to stick out the arches I think with the smallest size spacer which I believe is 15mmm? so it looks like 3mm is all I can do
  23. well spotted GM thanks, yes i meant 18s, thats the one so they are ET 30 removing the spacer has brought the front back in line though so its really close either way, im going to try the 3mm shim and see if that gives better clearance, is it ok to get one from Halfords?? its that or ebay cant seem to find any branded ones
  24. Up for sale are a pair of 20mm spacers one is an eibach the other is unmarked but believe it was a mwtech one, had them on the car for about a year, nuts included £60 collected from Surrey but can post at extra cost, will clean them up a bit also
